4 Mose 26
1 Da sprach der Herr zu Moses und Eleazar, dem Sohn des Priesters Aaron:
And so after the plague, the Lord spake vnto Moses, and to Eleazar the sonne of Aaron the Priest, saying,
2 "Nehmt die Gesamtzahl der ganzen israelitischen Gemeinde auf, von zwanzig Jahren aufwärts, nach Familien, alle Heerespflichtigen in Israel!"
Take the nomber of all the Congregation of the children of Israel from twentie yeere olde and aboue throughout their fathers houses, all that go forth to warre in Israel.
3 Da ließen Moses und der Priester Eleazar sie in den Steppen Moabs, am Jordan bei Jericho, zur Musterung kommen,
So Moses and Eleazar the Priest spake vnto them in the plaine of Moab, by Iorden towarde Iericho, saying,
4 Von zwanzig Jahren aufwärts, wie der Herr dem Moses befohlen. Die Israeliten, die aus dem Lande Ägypten ausgezogen waren:
From twentie yeere olde and aboue ye shall nomber the people, as the Lord had commanded Moses, and the childre of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
5 Israels Erstgeborener Ruben: Rubens Söhne: Chanok mit der Sippe der Chanokiter, Pallu mit der der Palluiter,
Reuben the first borne of Israel: the children of Reube were: Hanoch, of whom came the familie of the Hanochites, and of Pallu the familie of the Palluites:
6 Chesron mit der der Chesroniter, Karmi mit der der Karmiter.
Of Hesron, the familie of the Hesronites: of Carmi, the familie of the Carmites.
7 Das sind die Sippen der Rubeniter; die Zahl ihrer Ausgemusterten betrug 43.730.
These are the families of the Reubenites: and they were in nomber three and fourtie thousand, seuen hundreth and thirtie.
8 Pallus Söhne: Eliab.
And the sonnes of Pallu, Eliab:
9 Eliabs Söhne waren Nemuel, Datan und Abiram. Datan und Abiram waren die von der Rotte Berufenen, die wider Moses und Aaron unter der Rotte Korachs gehadert, als sie im Hader mit dem Herrn lagen,
And the sonnes of Eliab, Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram: this Dathan and Abiram were famous in the Congregation, and stroue against Moses and against Aaron in the assemblie of Korah, when they stroue against the Lord.
10 worauf die Erde ihren Schlund auftat und sie mit Korach verschlang, während die Rotte umkam, indem das Feuer die 250 Mann verzehrte, so daß sie zu einem Zeichen wurden.
And the earth opened her mouth, and swalowed them vp with Korah, when the Congregation died, what time the fire consumed, two hundreth and fiftie men, who were for a signe.
11 Die Söhne Korachs aber kamen nicht um.
Notwithstanding, all the sonnes of Korah dyed not.
12 Simeons Söhne nach ihren Sippen: Nemuel mit der Sippe der Nemueliter, Jamin mit der der Jaminiter, Jakin mit der der Jakiniter,
And the children of Simeon after their families were: Nemuel, of whom came the familie of the Nemuelites: of Iamin, the familie of the Iaminites: of Iachin, the familie of the Iachinites:
13 Zerach mit der der Zerachiter, Saul mit der der Sauliter.
Of Zerah, the familie of the Zarhites: of Shaul, the familie of the Shaulites.
14 Dies sind die Sippen der Simeoniter 22.200.
These are the families of the Simeonites: two and twentie thousand and two hundreth.
15 Gads Söhne nach ihren Sippen: Sephon mit der der Sephoniter, Chaggi mit der der Chaggiter, Suni mit der der Suniter,
The sonnes of Gad after their families were: Zephon, of whome came ye familie of the Zephonites: of Haggi, the familie of the Haggites: of Shuni, the familie of the Shunites:
16 Ozni mit der der Ozniter, Eri mit der der Eriter.
Of Ozni, the familie of the Oznites: of Eri, the familie of the Erites:
17 Arod mit der der Aroditer, Areli mit der der Areliter.
Of Arod, the familie of the Arodites: of Areli, the familie of the Arelites.
18 Das sind die Sippen der Gadsöhne nach ihren Gemusterten, 40.500.
These are the families of the sonnes of Gad, according to their nombers, fourtie thousand and fiue hundreth.
19 Judas Söhne waren Er und Onan. Er und Onan aber waren im Lande Kanaan gestorben.
The sonnes of Iudah, Er and Onan: but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.
20 Judas Söhne nach ihren Sippen waren dies: Sela mit der der Selaniter, Peres mit der der Persiter. Zerach mit der der Zarchiter.
So were the sonnes of Iudah after their families: of Shelah came the familie of ye Shelanites: of Pharez, the familie of the Pharzites, of Zerah, the familie of the Zarhites.
21 Des Peres Söhne waren diese: Chesron mit der Sippe der Chesroniter, Chamul mit der der Chamuliter.
And the sonnes of Pharez were: of Hesron, the familie of the Hesronites: of Hamul, the familie of the Hamulites.
22 Dies sind Judas Sippen nach ihren Gemusterten, 76.500.
These are the families of Iudah, after their nombers, seuentie and sixe thousande and fiue hundreth.
23 Issakars Söhne nach ihren Sippen waren: Tola mit der der Tolaiter, Puwwa mit der der Puniter.
The sonnes of Issachar, after their families were: Tola, of whom came the familie of the Tolaites: of Pua, the familie of the Punites:
24 Jasub mit der der Jasubiter, Simron mit der der Simroniter.
Of Iashub the familie of the Iashubites: of Shimron, the familie of the Shimronites.
25 Dies sind Issakars Sippen nach ihren Gemusterten, 64.300.
These are the families of Issachar, after their nombers, threescore and foure thousand and three hundreth.
26 Zabulons Söhne nach ihren Sippen: Sered mit der der Serditer, Elon mit der der Eloniter, Jachleel mit der der Jachleeliter.
The sonnes of Zebulun, after their families were: of Sered, the familie of the Sardites: of Elon, the familie of the Elonites: of Iahleel, the familie of the Iahleelites.
27 Dies sind die Sippen der Zabuloniter nach ihrem Gemusterten, 60.500.
These are the families of the Zebulunites, after their nombers, three score thousande and fiue hundreth.
28 Josephs Söhne nach ihren Sippen: Manasse und Ephraim.
The sonnes of Ioseph, after their families were Manasseh and Ephraim.
29 Manasses Söhne: Makir mit der Sippe der Makiriter. Makir zeugte Gilead. Von Gilead die Sippe der Gileaditer.
The sonnes of Manasseh were: of Machir, the familie of the Machirites: and Machir begate Gilead: of Gilead came the familie of the Gileadites.
30 Dies sind die Söhne Gileads: Jezer mit der Sippe der Jezriter, Chelek mit der der Chelkiter,
These are the sonnes of Gilead: of Iezer, the familie of the Iezerites: of Helek, the familie of the Helekites.
31 Asriel mit der der Asrieliter, Sekem mit der der Sikmiter,
Of Asriel, the familie of the Asrielites: of Shechem, the familie of Shichmites.
32 Semida mit der der Semidaiter, Chepher mit der der Chephriter.
Of Shemida, the familie of the Shemidaites: of Hepher, the familie of the Hepherites.
33 Selophchad, Chephers Sohn, hatte keine Söhne, nur Töchter. Selophchads Töchter hießen Machla, Noa, Chogla, Milka und Tirsa.
And Zelophehad the sonne of Hepher had no sonnes, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah.
34 Dies sind die Sippen Manasses, und ihrer Gemusterten waren es 52.700.
These are the families of Manasseh, and the nomber of them, two and fiftie thousand and seuen hundreth.
35 Dies sind Ephraims Söhne nach ihren Sippen: Sutelach mit der der Sutalchiter, Beker mit der der Bakriter, Tachan mit der der Tachaniter.
These are the sonnes of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah came the familie of the Shuthalhites: of Becher, the familie of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the familie of the Tahanites.
36 Dies sind Sutelachs Söhne: Eran mit der Sippe der Eraniter.
And these are the sonnes of Shuthelah: of Eran the familie of the Eranites.
37 Dies sind die Sippen der Söhne Ephraims nach ihren Gemusterten, 32.500. Dies sind die Josephsöhne nach ihren Sippen.
These are the families of the sonnes of Ephraim after their nombers, two and thirtie thousand and fiue hundreth. these are the sonnes of Ioseph after their families.
38 Benjamins Söhne nach ihren Sippen: Bela mit der der Baliter, Asbel mit der der Asbeliter, Achiram mit der der Achiramiter,
These are the sonnes of Beniamin after their families: of Bela came the familie of the Belaites: of Ashbel, the familie of the Ashbelites: of Ahiram, the familie of the Ahiramites:
39 Sephupham mit der der Suphamiter, Chupham mit der der Chuphainiter.
Of Shupham, the familie of the Suphamites: of Hupham, the familie of the Huphamites.
40 Belas Söhne waren Ard und Naaman, Ard mit der Sippe der Arditer, Naaman mit der der Naamaniter.
And the sonnes of Bela were Ard and Naaman: of Ard came the familie of the Ardites, of Naaman, the familie of the Naamites.
41 Dies sind Benjamins Söhne nach ihren Sippen, und ihrer Gemusterten waren es 45.600.
These are the sonnes of Beniamin after their families, and their nombers, fiue and fourtie thousand and sixe hundreth.
42 Dies sind Dans Söhne nach ihren Sippen: Sucham mit der der Suchamiter. Das sind Dans Sippen mit ihren Sippen.
These are the sonnes of Dan after their families: of Shuham came the familie of the Shuhamites: these are the families of Dan after their housholdes.
43 Alle Sippen der Suchamiter nach ihren Gemusterten waren es 64.400.
All the families of the Shuhamites were after their nombers, threescore and foure thousand, and foure hundreth.
44 Assers Söhne nach ihren Sippen: Jimna mit der des Jimna, Jiswi mit der der Iswiter, Beria mit der der Beriiter.
The sonnes of Asher after their families were: of Iimnah, the familie of the Iimnites: of Isui, the familie of the Isuites: of Beriah, the familie of the Berijtes.
45 Von den Söhnen Berias: Cheber mit der Sippe der Chebriter, Malkiel mit der der Malkieliter.
The sonnes of Beriah were, of Heber the familie of the Heberites: of Malchiel, the familie of the Malchielites.
46 Assers Tochter hieß Serach.
And the name of the daughter of Asher was Sarah.
47 Dies sind die Sippen der Söhne Assers nach ihren Gemusterten, 53.400.
These are the families of the sonnes of Asher after their nombers, three and fifty thousand and foure hundreth.
48 Naphtalis Söhne nach ihren Sippen: Jachseel mit der der Jachseeliter, Guni mit der der Guniter,
The sonnes of Naphtali, after their families were: of Iahzeel, the families of the Iahzeelites: of Guni, the familie of the Gunites.
49 Jeser mit der der Isriter, Sillem mit der Sillemiter.
Of Iezer, the familie of the Izrites: of Shillem, the familie of the Shillemites.
50 Das sind die Sippen Naphtalis nach ihren Sippen, und ihrer Gemusterten waren es 45.400.
These are the families of Naphtali according to their housholdes, and their nomber, fiue and fourtie thousande and foure hundreth.
51 Dies sind die Gemusterten der Söhne Israels: 601.730.
These are the nombers of the children of Israel: sixe hundreth and one thousand, seuen hundreth and thirtie.
52 Und der Herr sprach zu Moses:
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
53 "Diesen soll das Land als eigen zugeteilt werden nach Namenzahl!
Vnto these the land shalbe deuided for an inheritance, according to the nomber of names.
54 Du sollst dem, der viel zählt, viel Besitz geben und dem, der wenig zählt, wenig! Nach den Ausgemusterten werde sein Besitz jedem gegeben!
To many thou shalt giue the more inheritance, and to fewe thou shalt giue lesse inheritance: to euery one according to his nomber shalbe giuen his inheritance.
55 Doch soll das Land durchs Los verteilt werden! Sie sollen es nach den Namen ihrer väterlichen Stämme erhalten.
Notwithstanding, the land shalbe deuided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherite:
56 Sein Besitz soll nach dem Los verteilt werden zwischen dem, der viel, und dem, der wenig zählt!"
According to the lot shall the possession thereof be deuided betweene many and fewe.
57 Dies sind die aus Levi Ausgemusterten nach ihren Sippen: Gerson mit der der Gersoniter, Kehat mit der der Kehatiter, Merari mit der der Merariter.
These also are the nobers of ye Leuites, after their families: of Gershon came ye familie of the Gershonites: of Kohath, ye familie of the Kohathites: of Merari, the familie of the Merarites.
58 Dies sind die Sippen Levis: die der Libniter, die der Chebroniter, die der Machliter, die der Musiter, die der Korchiter. Kehat zeugte Amram.
These are the families of Leui, the familie of the Libnites: the familie of the Hebronites: the familie of the Mahlites: the familie of the Mushites: the familie of the Korhites: and Kohath begate Amram.
59 Amrams Weib hieß Jokebed, Levis Tochter, die Levi in Ägypten geboren ward. Sie gebar dem Amram Aaron und Moses sowie ihre Schwester Mirjam.
And Amrams wife was called Iochebed the daughter of Leui, which was borne vnto Leui in Egypt: and she bare vnto Amram Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
60 Aaron wurden Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar und Itamar geboren.
And vnto Aaron were borne Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
61 Nadab aber und Abiram mußten sterben, als sie vor dem Herrn unbefugt Feuer darbrachten.
And Nadab and Abihu dyed, because they offred strange fire before the Lord.
62 Ihre Ausgemusterten beliefen sich auf 23.000, alles Männliche von einem Monat aufwärts. Denn sie waren nicht mit den anderen Israeliten gemustert worden, weil ihnen kein Besitz inmitten der Israeliten geworden war.
And their nombers were three and twentie thousand, all males from a moneth old and aboue: for they were not nombred among the children of Israel, because there was none inheritance giuen them among the children of Israel.
63 Das sind die von Moses und dem Priester Eleazar Gemusterten. Sie hatten die Israeliten in den Steppen Moabs am Jordan bei Jericho gemustert.
These are the nombers of Moses and Eleazar the Priest which nombred the children of Israel in the plaine of Moab, neere Iorden, towarde Iericho.
64 Unter diesen war keiner mehr von den durch Moses und den Priester Aaron Gemusterten. Diese hatten die Israeliten in der Wüste Sinai gemustert.
And among these there was not a man of them, whome Moses and Aaron the Priest nobred, when they tolde the children of Israel in the wildernes of Sinai.
65 Denn der Herr hatte zu ihnen gesagt, sie müßten in der Wüste sterben. So war keiner von ihnen mehr übrig, außer Jephunnes Sohn Kaleb und Josue, Nuns Sohn.
For the Lord said of them, They shall die in the wildernes: so there was not left a man of them, saue Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh, and Ioshua the sonne of Nun.
