3 Mose 1

1 Und der Herr rief Moses und redete mit ihm vom Festgezelt aus:

Nowe the Lord called Moses, and spake vnto him out of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, saying,

2 "Sprich zu den Söhnen Israels und sage ihnen: 'Will jemand von euch ein Opfer dem Herrn darbringen, so könnt ihr eure Tieropfer nur vom Rind und Schaf darbringen.

Speake vnto the children of Israel, and thou shalt say vnto them, If any of you offer a sacrifice vnto the Lord, ye shall offer your sacrifice of cattell, as of beeues and of the sheepe.

3 Ist sein Opfer ein Rinderbrandopfer, dann soll er ein männliches, fehlerloses Tier zum Opfer bringen! Er soll es an des Festgezeltes Pforte bringen, daß ihm Wohlgefallen vor dem Herrn werde!

If his sacrifice be a burnt offering of the heard, he shall offer a male without blemish, presenting him of his owne voluntarie will at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation before the Lord.

4 Er lege auf den Kopf des Brandopfers seine Hand. So wird es ihm angerechnet und wird ihm Sühne schaffen.

And he shall put his hande vpon the head of the burnt offering, and it shalbe accepted to the Lord, to be his atonement.

5 Dann schlachte er vor dem Herrn das junge Rind! Und die Priester, Aarons Söhne, sollen das Blut hintragen und mit dem Blute ringsum den Altar besprengen, der vor der Pforte des Festgezeltes ist!

And he shall kill the bullocke before the Lord, and the Priestes Aarons sonnes shall offer the blood, and shall sprinckle it round about vpon the altar, that is by the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.

6 Dann häute er das Brandopfer und zerstückle es!

Then shall he fley the burnt offering, and cut it in pieces.

7 Die Priester, Aarons Söhne, sollen Feuer auf dem Altar machen und auf das Feuer Holzscheite schichten!

So the sonnes of Aaron the Priest shall put fire vpon the altar, and lay the wood in order vpon the fire.

8 Dann sollen Aarons Söhne, die Priester, auf den Holzscheiten des Altarfeuers die Stücke und den Kopf samt dem Fett auflegen!

Then the Priestes Aarons sonnes shall lay the parts in order, the head and the kall vpon the wood that is in the fire which is vpon the altar.

9 Seine Eingeweide aber und Beine soll er mit Wasser waschen; dann lasse der Priester alles auf dem Altar aufdampfen als Brandopfer, als Mahl süßen Duftes für den Herrn!

But the inwardes thereof and the legges thereof he shall wash in water, and the Priest shall burne all on the altar: for it is a burnt offering, an oblation made by fire, for a sweete sauour vnto the Lord.

10 Stammt sein Opfer für das Brandopfer vom Kleinvieh, von Lämmern oder Ziegen, dann soll er ein männliches, fehlerloses Tier zum Opfer bringen!

And if his sacrifice for the burnt offering be of the flocks (as of the sheepe, or of the goats) he shall offer a male without blemish,

11 Er schlachte es auf der Nordseite des Altares vor dem Herrn! Die Priester aber, Aarons Söhne, sollen mit seinem Blut ringsum den Altar besprengen!

And he shall kill it on the Northside of the altar before the Lord, and the Priestes Aarons sonnes shall sprinckle the blood thereof rounde about vpon the altar.

12 Dann zerlege er es in seine Teile! Mit seinem Kopf und Fett lege sie der Priester auf die Scheite des Altarfeuers!

And he shall cut it in pieces, separating his head and his kall, and the Priest shall lay them in order vpon the wood that lyeth in the fire which is on the altar:

13 Die Eingeweide und die Beine soll er im Wasser waschen! Dann bringe der Priester alles dar und lasse es auf dem Altar aufdampfen! Ein Brandopfer ist es, ein Mahl süßen Duftes für den Herrn.

But he shall wash the inwardes, and the legges with water, and the Priest shall offer the whole and burne it vpon the altar: for it is a burnt offering, an oblation made by fire for a sweete sauour vnto the Lord.

14 Ist ein Vogelbrandopfer seine Opfergabe für den Herrn, dann bringe er von Turtel- oder jungen Tauben sein Opfer dar!

And if his sacrifice be a burnt offring to the Lord of ye foules, then he shall offer his sacrifice of the turtle doues, or of the yong pigeons.

15 Der Priester bringe es zum Altar und drücke ihm den Kopf ab und lasse es auf dem Altar aufdampfen! An des Altares Wand werde sein Blut ausgepreßt!

And the Priest shall bring it vnto the altar, and wring the necke of it asunder, and burne it on the altar: and the blood thereof shall bee shed vpon the side of the altar.

16 Er trenne dem Vogel den Kropf samt seinem Unrat ab und werfe ihn neben den Altar ostwärts auf den Aschenhaufen!

And he shall plucke out his maw with his fethers, and cast them beside the altar on the East part in the place of the ashes.

17 Dann zerknicke er ihn an seinen Flügeln, ohne ihn zu teilen! Dann lasse ihn der Priester auf dem Altar aufdampfen auf Holzscheiten über dem Feuer! Ein Brandopfer ist es, ein Mahl süßen Duftes für den Herrn.'"

And he shall cleaue it with his wings, but not deuide it asunder: and the Priest shall burne it vpon the altar vpon the wood that is in the fire: for it is a burnt offering, an oblation made by fire for a sweete sauour vnto the Lord.
