Markus 1
1 Anfang der frohen Botschaft von Jesus Christus, dem Sohne Gottes.
Beginning of the glad-message of Jesus Christ.
2 So, wie geschrieben steht bei dem Propheten Isaias: "Siehe, ich sende meinen Engel vor dir her, der dir den Weg bereiten soll."
According as it is written in Isaiah the prophet—Lo! I send my messenger before thy face, Who shall prepare thy way, —
3 Eine Stimme ruft in der Steppe: 'Richtet her den Weg des Herrn, macht seine Pfade eben."'
A voice of one crying aloud—In the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord, straight, be making his paths.
4 Johannes trat in der Steppe auf, taufte und verkündete die Taufe der Bekehrung zur Nachlassung der Sünden.
John the Immerser came, in the wilderness, proclaiming an immersion of repentance for remission of sins;
5 Das ganze Land Judäa zog zu ihm hinaus, sowie alle Bewohner Jerusalems. Man ließ sich von ihm im Jordanfluß taufen, wobei man seine Sünden bekannte.
and there were going out unto him all the Judaea country and all they of Jerusalem, and were being immersed by him in the Jordan river, openly confessing their sins;
6 Johannes trug ein Kleid aus Kamelhaaren und einen Ledergürtel um die Lenden; er nährte sich von Heuschrecken und wildem Honig.
and John was clothed with camel’s-hair and a leathern girdle about his loins, and was eating locusts and wild honey;
7 Er predigte und sprach: "Nach mir kommt einer, der mächtiger ist als ich; ich bin nicht wert, mich vor ihm hinzubeugen und ihm die Riemen seiner Schuhe loszulösen.
and he proclaimed, saying—He that is mightier than I cometh after [me], of whom I am not worthy to stoop and unloose the strap of his sandals:
8 Ich habe euch nur mit Wasser getauft. Er aber wird euch mit dem Heiligen Geiste taufen."
I, have immersed you, with water, —He, will immerse you, with the Holy Spirit.
9 In jenen Tagen kam Jesus von Nazareth in Galiläa und ließ sich im Jordan von Johannes taufen.
And it came to pass, in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was immersed into the Jordan by John;
10 Und sogleich, als er aus dem Wasser stieg, sah er, wie sich die Himmel öffneten und wie der Geist einer Taube gleich auf ihn niederschwebte und über ihm blieb.
And, straightway, as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens rending asunder, and, the Spirit, as a dove, descending unto him;
11 Und eine Stimme kam vom Himmel her: "Du bist mein geliebter Sohn; an dir habe ich mein Wohlgefallen."
and a voice [came] out of the heavens—Thou, art my Son, the Beloved, —In thee, I delight.
12 Und gleich hernach trieb ihn der Geist in die Einsamkeit
And, straightway, the Spirit urgeth him forth into the wilderness;
13 Vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte war er in der Einsamkeit und ward vom Satan versucht; er lebte bei den wilden Tieren; doch Engel dienten ihm.
and he was in the wilderness, forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts, —and, the messengers, were ministering unto him.
14 Nach der Gefangennahme des Johannes begab sich Jesus nach Galiläa und verkündete die frohe Botschaft vom Reiche Gottes.
And after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the glad-message of God,
15 Er sprach: "Erfüllt ist die Zeit; das Reich Gottes ist nahe! Bekehret euch und glaubt an die frohe Botschaft!"
[and saying]—The season is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God hath drawn near, —Repent ye, and have faith in the glad-message.
16 Einst wanderte er an Galiläas Meer entlang, als er den Simon und Andreas, Simons Bruder, sah. Sie warfen eben ein Netz ins Wasser aus; sie waren nämlich Fischer.
And, passing by near the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon, and Andrew the brother of Simon, casting a net in the sea, —for they were fishers;
17 Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: "Kommt, folget mir! Ich werde euch zu Menschenfischern machen."
and Jesus said unto them—Come after me, and I will make you become fishers of men;
18 Augenblicklich ließen sie ihre Netze liegen und folgten ihm.
and, straightway, leaving the nets, they followed him.
19 Er ging ein wenig weiter; da sah er Jakobus, den Sohn des Zebedäus, und Johannes, seinen Bruder. In ihrem Boote legten sie gerade die Netze sich zurecht.
And, going forward a little, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, and them who were in the boat putting in order the nets;
20 Sogleich berief er sie. Sie ließen ihren Vater Zebedäus im Boot bei den Tagelöhnern und gingen mit ihm fort.
and, straightway, he called them, —and, leaving their father Zebedee in the boat, with the hired men, they came away after him.
21 Sie gingen nach Kapharnaum hinein. Gleich am Sabbat begab er sich in die Synagoge, wo er lehrte.
And they journey into Capernaum. And, straightway, on the Sabbath, entering into the synagogue, he began teaching;
22 Man war von seiner Lehre hingerissen; denn er lehrte sie wie einer, der Vollmacht hat, und nicht wie die Schriftgelehrten.
and they were being struck with astonishment at his teaching, —for he was teaching them as one having authority, and, not as the Scribes.
23 In ihrer Synagoge war ein Mensch im Banne eines unreinen Geistes. Er schrie laut
And, straightway, there was in their synagogue, a man in an impure spirit, —and he cried out aloud,
24 und rief: "Oho! Was willst du von uns, Jesus von Nazareth? Bist du gekommen, uns zu verderben? Ich weiß, wer du bist: der Heilige Gottes."
saying—What have we in common with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? Hast thou come to destroy us? I know thee, who thou art, The Holy One of God.
25 Doch Jesus drohte ihm und sprach: "Schweig! Fahr von ihm aus!"
And Jesus rebuked him, [saying]—Be silenced, and come forth out of him!
26 Da zerrte ihn der unreine Geist hin und her und fuhr mit gellendem Geschrei von ihm aus.
And the impure spirit, tearing him, and calling out with a loud voice, came forth out of him;
27 Alle entsetzten sich und stritten miteinander. Sie fragten: "Was ist doch das, die neue Lehre in der Vollmacht Gottes? Gebietet er doch selbst unreinen Geistern, und sie gehorchen ihm."
and they were amazed, one and all, so that they began to discuss among themselves, saying—What is this? New teaching! With authority, to the impure spirits also, he giveth orders, and they obey him!
28 Sein Ruf ging überall hinaus ins ganze Gebiet von Galiläa.
And forth went the report of him, straightway, on every hand, into the surrounding country of Galilee.
29 Dann ging er aus der Synagoge fort und kam ins Haus des Simon und Andreas, in der Begleitung von Jakobus und Johannes.
And, straightway, out of the synagogue, going forth, he went unto the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
30 Die Schwiegermutter des Simon lag fieberkrank darnieder, und sie erzählten ihm sofort von ihr.
Now, the mother-in-law of Simon, was lying in a fever, and, straightway, they speak to him concerning her;
31 Da trat er zu ihr hin, ergriff sie bei der Hand und richtete sie auf. Da wich von ihr das Fieber, und sie diente ihnen.
and, coming near, he raised her up, grasping her hand, —and the fever left her, and she began ministering unto them.
32 Als es Abend wurde und die Sonne untergegangen war, brachte man zu ihm alle Kranken und Besessenen.
And, evening arriving, when the sun went in, they were bearing unto him all who were sick, and them who were demonized;
33 Die ganze Stadt drängte sich vor der Tür zusammen.
and all the city was gathered unto the door;
34 Er heilte viele Kranke von mannigfachen Leiden und trieb auch viele Dämonen aus; doch ließ er es nicht zu, daß die Dämonen redeten; sie erkannten ihn nämlich.
and he cured many that were sick with divers diseases, and, many demons, he cast out, and suffered not the demons to be talking, —because they knew him [to be Christ].
35 Frühmorgens, als es noch ganz dunkel war, stand er auf, ging fort und kam an einen abgelegenen Ort, wo er betete.
And, very early by night arising, he went out [and departed] into a desert place, and, there, was praying;
36 Simon und die Seinen gingen ihm rasch nach.
and Simon, and they who were with him, went in quest of him,
37 Sie fanden ihn und sagten zu ihm: "Alle suchen dich."
and found him, and say unto him—All, are seeking thee;
38 Er sprach zu ihnen: "Laßt uns auch anderswohin gehen, in die Flecken da umher, damit ich auch dort predige; dazu bin ich gekommen."
and he saith unto them—Let us be going elsewhere, into the neighbouring country-towns, in order that, there also, I may be making proclamation, —for, to this end, came I forth;
39 So zog er denn umher und predigte überall in Galiläa in ihren Synagogen und trieb die Dämonen aus.
and he came, making proclamation, into their synagogues, throughout the whole of Galilee, —and, was casting the demons out.
40 Da kam zu ihm ein Aussätziger; auf den Knien flehte er ihn an und sprach: "Wenn du willst, kannst du mich rein machen."
And there cometh unto him, a leper, beseeching him and [kneeling], —saying unto him—If thou be willing, thou canst cleanse me;
41 Voll Erbarmen streckte er seine Hand aus, berührte ihn und sprach: "Ich will, sei rein!"
and, moved with compassion, he stretched forth the hand, and touched him, and saith unto him—I am willing, Be cleansed!
42 Und sofort wich der Aussatz von ihm, und er war rein.
and, straightway, the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed;
43 Mit strengen Worten schickte er ihn alsbald fort
and, strictly charging him, straightway, he urged him forth;
44 und sprach zu ihm: "Hüte dich, irgend jemand etwas zu sagen; geh vielmehr hin, zeige dich dem Priester und opfere für deine Reinigung, was Moses vorgeschrieben hat; sie mögen dies zum Zeugnis nehmen."
and saith unto him—Mind! unto no one, say aught, —but withdraw, thyself, show unto the priest, and offer for thy cleansing what things Moses enjoined, for a witness unto them.
45 Jener ging hinweg; er wußte vieles zu erzählen und machte die Tat überall bekannt. So kam es, daß Jesus sich nicht mehr offen in einer Stadt zeigen konnte, vielmehr sich außerhalb an abgelegenen Orten aufhielt; jedoch kam man zu ihm von allen Seiten.
But, he, going forth, began to be proclaiming many things, and blazing abroad the story, so that, no longer, was it possible for him, openly, into a city, to enter, —but, outside, in desert places, [was he], and they were coming unto him from every quarter.
