Lukas 7
1 Nachdem er aber alle seine Worte vor den Ohren des Volkes vollendet hatte, ging er hinein nach Kapernaum.
AND when he had finished all these words in the hearing of the people, Jeshu entered into Kapher-nachum.
2 Eines gewissen Hauptmanns Knecht aber, der ihm wert war, war krank und lag im Sterben.
But the servant of a certain centurion, who was valued by him, was sick, and nigh unto dying.
3 Als er aber von Jesu hörte, sandte er Älteste der Juden zu ihm und bat ihn, daß er käme und seinen Knecht gesund mache.
And he heard of Jeshu, and sent to him the elders of the Jihudoyee, and besought him to come (and) save his servant.
4 Als diese aber zu Jesu hinkamen, baten sie ihn angelegentlich und sprachen: Er ist würdig, daß du ihm dies gewährest;
And they, when they came to Jeshu, besought of him earnestly, saying, He is worthy that thou do this for him;
5 denn er liebt unsere Nation, und er selbst hat uns die Synagoge erbaut.
for he loveth our people, and also a synagogue he hath built for us.
6 Jesus aber ging mit ihnen. Als er aber schon nicht mehr weit von dem Hause entfernt war, sandte der Hauptmann Freunde zu ihm und ließ ihm sagen: Herr, bemühe dich nicht, denn ich bin nicht würdig, daß du unter mein Dach tretest.
And Jeshu went with them. But when he was not greatly distant from the house, the centurion sent to him his friends, saying to him, My Lord, labour not, for I am not worthy that thou shouldst enter beneath my roof.
7 Darum habe ich mich selbst auch nicht würdig geachtet, zu dir zu kommen; sondern sprich ein Wort, und mein Knecht wird gesund werden.
Wherefore I was not worthy to come to thee; but speak by a word, and my youth shall be healed.
8 Denn auch ich bin ein Mensch, unter Gewalt gestellt, und habe Kriegsknechte unter mir; und ich sage zu diesem: Gehe hin, und er geht; und zu einem anderen: Komm, und er kommt; und zu meinem Knechte: Tue dieses, und er tut's.
For I also am a man who am subjected under authority; and there are under my hand soldiers, and I say to this one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth.
9 Als Jesus dies hörte, verwunderte er sich über ihn; und er wandte sich zu der Volksmenge, die ihm folgte, und sprach: Ich sage euch, selbst nicht in Israel habe ich so großen Glauben gefunden.
Now when Jeshu heard these (words), he admired, and turned and said to the company who came after him, I tell you, that not also in the house of Isroel have I found faith like this.
10 Und als die Abgesandten in das Haus zurückkehrten, fanden sie den kranken Knecht gesund.
And they who had been sent, returned to the house, and found the servant who had been sick now well.
11 Und es geschah danach, daß er in eine Stadt ging, genannt Nain, und viele seiner Jünger und eine große Volksmenge gingen mit ihm.
AND it was the day after, that he went to a city whose name was Nain, and his disciples with him, and a great multitude.
12 Als er sich aber dem Tore der Stadt näherte, siehe, da wurde ein Toter herausgetragen, der eingeborene Sohn seiner Mutter, und sie war eine Witwe; und eine zahlreiche Volksmenge aus der Stadt [war] mit ihr.
And as he approached the gate of the city, he saw (them) following (one) dead, who was the only born of his mother, and she his mother was a widow: and a great multitude of the people of the city were with her.
13 Und als der Herr sie sah, wurde er innerlich bewegt über sie und sprach zu ihr: Weine nicht!
And Jeshu beheld her, and had compassion upon her, and said to her, Weep not.
14 Und er trat hinzu und rührte die Bahre an, die Träger aber standen still; und er sprach: Jüngling, ich sage dir, stehe auf!
And he went and touched the bier; and they who were carrying it stood. And he said, Young man, to thee I say, Arise.
15 Und der Tote setzte sich auf und fing an zu reden; und er gab ihn seiner Mutter.
And the dead sat up, and began to speak. And he gave him to his mother.
16 Alle aber ergriff Furcht; und sie verherrlichten Gott und sprachen: Ein großer Prophet ist unter uns erweckt worden, und Gott hat sein Volk besucht.
And fear seized all men; and they glorified Aloha, saying, A great prophet hath arisen among us, and Aloha hath visited his people.
17 Und diese Rede über ihn ging aus in ganz Judäa und in der ganzen Umgegend.
And this word concerning him went forth into all Jihud, and into the whole region around them.
18 Und dem Johannes berichteten seine Jünger über dies alles.
And the disciples of Juchanon showed him all these.
19 Und Johannes rief zwei seiner Jünger herzu und sandte sie zu Jesu und ließ ihm sagen: Bist du der Kommende, oder sollen wir auf einen anderen warten?
AND Juchanon called two from his disciples,
20 Als aber die Männer zu ihm gekommen waren, sprachen sie: Johannes der Täufer hat uns zu dir gesandt und läßt dir sagen: Bist du der Kommende, oder sollen wir auf einen anderen warten?
and sent them to Jeshu, saying, Art thou He who cometh! or another should we expect?
21 In jener Stunde aber heilte er viele von Krankheiten und Plagen und bösen Geistern, und vielen Blinden schenkte er das Gesicht.
But in that very hour he healed many from diseases, and from plagues, and from evil spirits; and to many blind he gave to see.
22 Und Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Gehet hin und verkündet Johannes, was ihr gesehen und gehört habt: daß Blinde sehend werden, Lahme wandeln, Aussätzige gereinigt werden, Taube hören, Tote auferweckt werden, Armen gute Botschaft verkündigt wird;
And Jeshu answered and said to them, Go tell Juchanon every thing you have seen and heard: that the blind see, and the lame walk, and the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, and the dead arise, and the poor are evangelized;
23 und glückselig ist, wer irgend sich nicht an mir ärgern wird.
and blessed is he whosoever is not offended in me.
24 Als aber die Boten des Johannes weggegangen waren, fing er an, zu den Volksmengen zu reden über Johannes: Was seid ihr in die Wüste hinausgegangen zu sehen? Ein Rohr, vom Winde hin und her bewegt?
But when the disciples of Juchanon were gone, Jeshu began to speak to the people concerning Juchanon: What went you forth into the wilderness to see? a reed from the wind shaken?
25 Aber was seid ihr hinausgegangen zu sehen? Einen Menschen, mit weichen Kleidern angetan? Siehe, die in herrlicher Kleidung und in Üppigkeit leben, sind an den königlichen Höfen.
If not, what went you forth to see? a man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they who are clothed in bright vestments, and are (living) in pleasures, are in the house of kings.
26 Aber was seid ihr hinausgegangen zu sehen? einen Propheten? Ja, sage ich euch, und mehr als einen Propheten.
If not, what went you forth to see? a prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet:
27 Dieser ist es, von dem geschrieben steht: “Siehe, ich sende meinen Boten vor deinem Angesicht her, der deinen Weg vor dir bereiten wird”;
he, concerning whom it is written, Behold, I send mine angel before thy face, Who shall prepare the way before thee.
28 denn ich sage euch: Unter den von Weibern Geborenen ist kein größerer Prophet als Johannes der Täufer; aber der Kleinste in dem Reiche Gottes ist größer als er.
I tell you, that no prophet among those born of women (hath been) greater than Juchanon the Baptizer. Yet the least in the kingdom of Aloha is greater than he.
29 (Und das ganze Volk, das zuhörte, und die Zöllner rechtfertigten Gott, indem sie mit der Taufe Johannes' getauft worden waren;
(And all the people that heard him, and the tribute-gatherers also, justified Aloha, because they were baptized with the baptism of Juchanon.
30 die Pharisäer aber und die Gesetzesgelehrten machten in Bezug auf sich selbst den Ratschluß Gottes wirkungslos, indem sie nicht von ihm getauft worden waren.)
But the Pharishee and Sophree rejected against themselves the will of Aloha, because they were not baptized of him.)
31 Wem soll ich nun die Menschen dieses Geschlechts vergleichen? und wem sind sie gleich?
With what therefore shall I compare the men of this generation, and to what are they like?
32 Sie sind Kindern gleich, die auf dem Markte sitzen und einander zurufen und sagen: Wir haben euch gepfiffen, und ihr habt nicht getanzt; wir haben euch Klagelieder gesungen, und ihr habt nicht geweint.
They are like children sitting in the public place, and crying to their companions, and saying, We have sung to you, and you have not danced; we have wailed to you, and you have not wept.
33 Denn Johannes der Täufer ist gekommen, der weder Brot aß, noch Wein trank, und ihr saget: Er hat einen Dämon.
For Juchanon the Baptizer came, neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, A devil is in him.
34 Der Sohn des Menschen ist gekommen, der da ißt und trinkt, und ihr saget: Siehe, ein Fresser und Weinsäufer, ein Freund von Zöllnern und Sündern; -
The Son of man came eating and drinking, and you say, Behold a man a devourer and a drinker of wine, and a friend of tribute-takers and of sinners!
35 und die Weisheit ist gerechtfertigt worden von allen ihren Kindern.
But justified is wisdom of her sons.
36 Es bat ihn aber einer der Pharisäer, daß er mit ihm essen möchte; und er ging in das Haus des Pharisäers und legte sich zu Tische.
NOW there came one of the Pharishee requesting of him to eat with him: and he entered into the house of the Pharisha, and reclined.
37 Und siehe, da war ein Weib in der Stadt, die eine Sünderin war; und als sie erfahren hatte, daß er in dem Hause des Pharisäers zu Tische liege, brachte sie eine Alabasterflasche mit Salbe;
And a woman, a sinner, was in that city; and when she knew that in the house of the Pharisha he reclined, she took a vase of ointment,
38 und hinten zu seinen Füßen stehend und weinend, fing sie an, seine Füße mit Tränen zu benetzen; und sie trocknete sie mit den Haaren ihres Hauptes und küßte seine Füße sehr und salbte sie mit der Salbe.
and stood behind him at his feet and wept, and began with her tears to bedrop his feet, and with the hair of her head to wipe them, and she kissed his feet, and anointed (them) with the ointment.
39 Als es aber der Pharisäer sah, der ihn geladen hatte, sprach er bei sich selbst und sagte: Wenn dieser ein Prophet wäre, so würde er erkennen, wer und was für ein Weib es ist, die ihn anrührt; denn sie ist eine Sünderin.
But when the Pharisha who had invited him saw (this), he thought within himself and said, Were this a prophet, he would know who this is and what is her report, for this woman is a sinner who toucheth him.
40 Und Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Simon, ich habe dir etwas zu sagen. Er aber spricht: Lehrer, sage an.
But Jeshu answered and said to him, Shemun, I have somewhat to say to thee. He said to him, Say, Rabi.
41 Ein gewisser Gläubiger hatte zwei Schuldner; der eine schuldete fünfhundert Denare, der andere aber fünfzig;
Jeshu said to him, A certain creditor had two debtors: the one owed him five hundred dinoree, and the other fifty dinoree.
42 da sie aber nicht hatten zu bezahlen, schenkte er es beiden. Wer nun von ihnen, [sage] wird ihn am meisten lieben?
And when they had nothing to pay, he forgave them both. Which, therefore, of them the most would love him?
43 Simon aber antwortete und sprach: Ich meine, dem er das meiste geschenkt hat. Er aber sprach zu ihm: Du hast recht geurteilt.
Shemun answered and said, I think he to whom much was forgiven. Jeshu said to him, Thou hast judged rightly.
44 Und sich zu dem Weibe wendend, sprach er zu Simon: Siehst du dieses Weib? Ich bin in dein Haus gekommen, du hast mir kein Wasser auf meine Füße gegeben; diese aber hat meine Füße mit Tränen benetzt und mit ihren Haaren getrocknet.
And he turned to that woman, and said to Shemun, Thou seest this woman: I entered thy house; waters for my feet thou gavest me not; but this with her tears hath bedropped my feet, and with her hair hath wiped them.
45 Du hast mir keinen Kuß gegeben; diese aber hat, seitdem ich hereingekommen bin, nicht abgelassen, meine Füße zu küssen.
Thou didst not kiss me; but, behold, this from (the time) I entered hath not ceased my feet to kiss.
46 Du hast mein Haupt nicht mit Öl gesalbt; diese aber hat mit Salbe meine Füße gesalbt.
Thou with ointment my feet didst not anoint, but this with ointment of balsam my feet hath anointed.
47 Deswegen sage ich dir: Ihre vielen Sünden sind vergeben, denn sie hat viel geliebt; wem aber wenig vergeben wird, der liebt wenig.
Therefore I tell thee, That forgiven to her are her many sins, because she hath loved much. For he to whom little is forgiven, little loveth.
48 Er aber sprach zu ihr: Deine Sünden sind vergeben.
And he said to her, Woman, forgiven to thee (are) thy sins.
49 Und die mit zu Tische lagen, fingen an, bei sich selbst zu sagen: Wer ist dieser, der auch Sünden vergibt?
But they who reclined said among themselves, Who is this who also sins forgiveth?
50 Er sprach aber zu dem Weibe: Dein Glaube hat dich errettet; gehe hin in Frieden.
But Jeshu said to that woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
