1 Issi wode gallasappe udufun saate bolla Phixxirossayne Yanissay wossa saaten Xoossa keeth bana kezzida.
Now, Peter and John, were going up into the temple, for the hour of prayer—the ninth;
2 Issi yellet wodhdhosope dommidi toy sillidade Xoossa keeth gelliza asape muxxata wossana mala asay gaalas gaalas tokki ehaaththaidi wothin issi loo7o geetettiza Xoossa keeththa pengen wossizadey dees.
And, a certain man, who had been, lame from his mother’s womb, was being carried, —whom they used to lay daily at the door of the temple—the [door] called Beautiful, that he might ask alms of them who were entering into the temple:
3 Izikka Phixxirossayne Yanissay Xoossa keethe gellishin beeyid isttafe muxxata wossides.
Who, seeing Peter and John about to enter into the temple, was requesting to receive, an alms.
4 Phixxirossayne Yanissay iza tiishi histti xeellida. Phixxirossaykka iza “Ane haa nuna xeella” gides.
But Peter looking steadfastly at him—with John—said: Look on us!
5 Addezikka isttafe aykko demmana gidi istta tiishi histti xeellides.
And, he, gave heed unto them, expecting to receive, something from them.
6 Gido attin Phixxirossay izas zaaridi “tas biraynne woorqqay denna gidikokka tas dizaz ta nes immays Nazireete Yesuss Kiristtossa sunththan dendadda ne toora hammuta” gides.
But Peter said—Silver and gold, have none, but, what I have, the same, unto thee do I give: —In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, Walk!
7 Izas oshacha kushshe oykkidi denththides, Herakka addeza tooyne too qirphpheey miniddes.
And, laying hold of him by the right hand, he raised him up; and, instantly, were his feet and ankles strengthened; —
8 Guuppi denddi eqqidi Hammuththu oykkides. Heene haane hammutishene guuppishe Xoossaka galatishe isttara isife Xoossa keethth gibbe gellides.
And, leaping forward, he stood and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking and leaping and praising God.
9 Izi Xoossa galatishe heene ha simmeeretishin asay beeydi,
And all the people saw him, walking and praising God;
10 hayssadey haanife kase “loo7o” geetettiza Xoossa keeththa peengen uttidi muxxata wossizay iza gididayssa errides. Iza bolla hanidayssafe denddidayssan asay keezi malaletides.
And they began to recognise him, that, the same, was he who, for the alms, used to sit at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; —and they were filled with amazement and transport at what had happened unto him.
11 Ha paxxida wossanchay Phixxirossakonne Yanisako shiphph gidi isttara oyketi dishin derey wuri malaletidi isttako “Sollommone simereetethaso” geetettizaso woththan yides.
And, as he held fast Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them, in the portico which is called Solomon’s, —greatly amazed.
12 Phixxirossay he asa beeyidi hizgides “Inteno Isra7eele dereto, hayssan aazas malaleteetii? Qassekka hayssa addeza nuni nu wolqan woykko nu nu xiillotetha paththidi hammutisida mala qodidi nuna aazas tish histi xeelletii?
And Peter, seeing it, made answer unto the people: —Ye men of Israel! Why marvel ye at this man? Or, upon us, why are ye intently looking, as though, by our own power or godliness, we had made him walk?
13 Nu aawantta Abramentta, Yisaqantta, Yaqobentta Xoossi naza Yesussa bonchides, inte qass iza hayqqos aaththi immidista, Philaxossay izi birshana koynkka inte iza Philaxossa sinththan kadidista.
The God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, —the God of our fathers, hath glorified his servant Jesus: —whom, ye, indeed, delivered up and denied to Pilate’s, face when he had adjudged to release him;
14 Geeshsha na xiilloza inte kadidi shemmppo wodhdhizaysi birshistana mala wossidista.
But, ye, denied, the Holy and Righteous One, and claimed a man that was a murderer to be granted you;
15 Deyo imizade inte wodhdhidista, gido attin Xoossi iza hayqqope denththides, hessas nuni markkata.
But, the Princely Leader of Life, ye slew: —whom, God, raised from among the dead, whereof, we, are witnesses.
16 Haysi inte beeyizaysine inte errizayssi mini eqqiday Yesussa sunththan ammanida gishiko. Inte wurikka beeyza mala izi kumetha paxxa demiday Yesussa sunthaninne iza sunththan beettiza ammanoniko.
And, by the faith of his name, unto this man whom ye see and know, hath his name given strength, —yea, the faith which is through him, hath given unto him this perfect soundness, over against you all!
17 “Ha7ikka ta ishshato inte hessa ooththiday inte hallaqata mala errontta gididaysa ta errays.
And now brethren, I know that by way of ignorance ye acted, —just as even your rulers.
18 Gidikokka kiristtossay wayye ekkanayssa Xoossi kasse nebista dunnan hasa7idayssa pollides.
Howbeit, God—what things he had before declared, through the mouth of all the prophets, for his Christ to suffer, —did thus fulfill!
19 Hessa gish inte nagaray qucceti dhayana mala marotethan gellite, inte biza oggepe simmite goda matappe inte oraxxana wodey intes yana.
Repent ye, therefore, and turn, —unto the blotting out of your sins; to the end that in that case, there may come seasons of refreshing from the face of the Lord,
20 Qassekka Xoossi kase intes doori wothida Yesussa Kiristtossa izi intes yeddana.
And he may send forth him who had been fore-appointed for you—Christ Jesus:
21 Xoossi kasse geshsha nabeta dunnan hasa7idaysa mala hannizaysa wursii oraxxisana wodey gakkanaas izi salon gamm7anas koshshes. (aiōn g165)
Unto whom, indeed, heaven must needs give welcome, until the times of the due establishment of all things, of which God hath spoken through the mouth of his holy age-past prophets. (aiōn g165)
22 Musseykka (inte goda Xoossi inte giidofe ta mala nabe intes denththana, izi intes yootizaysa siyitte.
Moses, indeed, said—A prophet, unto you, shall the Lord God raise up among your brethren, like unto me: unto him, shall ye hearken respecting all things whatsoever he shall speak unto you.
23 He nabeza siyontta ixxida shemmppoy wuri dere garssafe shaketi dhayo) gides.
And it shall be—every soul, whatsoever, which shall not hearken unto that prophet, shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.
24 Tumappe Samelappe ha simmin denddida nabeti wuri hayta wodeta gish hasa7ida.
But, indeed, all the prophets, —from Samuel and those following after, as many as have spoken, have even announced these days.
25 Intekka nabeta naytakko. Qassekka Xoossi Abrames (ne zeerethan biitta asi wuri anjjistana) giidi izi caqqida caqqoza latannay intenakko.
Ye, are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God covenanted unto your fathers, saying unto Abraham—And, in thy seed, shall be blessed, all the families of the ground.
26 Xoossi naza denththida wode intena issa issa inte iitatethafe zaaridi anjjana mala kassetidi inteko kittides.”
Unto you first, God—having raised up his Servant—hath sent him forth, ready to bless you, when ye are turning away, each one, from your wickednesses.
