Psaumes 115
1 Non pas à nous, Seigneur, non pas à nous, mais à votre nom donnez gloire.
Lord, not to vs, not to vs; but yyue thou glorie to thi name.
2 À cause de votre miséricorde et de votre vérité, de peur qu’un jour les nations ne disent: Où est leur Dieu?
On thi merci and thi treuthe; lest ony tyme hethene men seien, Where is the God of hem?
3 Mais notre Dieu est dans le ciel: toutes choses quelconques qu’il a voulues, il les a faites.
Forsothe oure God in heuene; dide alle thingis, whiche euere he wolde.
4 Les simulacres des nations sont de l’or et de l’argent; des ouvrages de mains d’hommes.
The symulacris of hethene men ben siluer and gold; the werkis of mennus hondis.
5 Ils ont une bouche, et ils ne parleront pas; ils ont des yeux, et ils ne verront pas.
Tho han mouth, and schulen not speke; tho han iyen, and schulen not se.
6 Ils ont des oreilles, et ils n’entendront pas; ils ont des narines, et ils ne sentiront pas.
Tho han eeris, and schulen not here; tho han nose thurls, and schulen not smelle.
7 Ils ont des mains, et ils ne toucheront pas; ils ont des pieds, et ils ne marcheront pas; et ils ne crieront pas avec leur gosier.
Tho han hondis, and schulen not grope; tho han feet, and schulen not go; tho schulen not crye in her throte.
8 Qu’ils leur deviennent semblables ceux qui les font, et tous ceux qui se confient en elles.
Thei that maken tho ben maad lijk tho; and alle that triste in tho.
9 La maison d’Israël a espéré dans le Seigneur; il est leur aide et leur protecteur.
The hous of Israel hopide in the Lord; he is the helpere `of hem, and the defendere of hem.
10 La maison d’Aaron a espéré dans le Seigneur; il est leur aide et leur protecteur.
The hous of Aaron hopide in the Lord; he is the helpere of hem, and the defendere of hem.
11 Ceux qui craignent le Seigneur ont espéré dans le Seigneur; il est leur aide et leur protecteur.
Thei that dreden the Lord, hopiden in the Lord; he is the helpere of hem, and the defendere of hem.
12 Le Seigneur s’est souvenu de nous, et il nous a bénis. Il a béni la maison d’Israël; il a béni la maison d’Aaron.
The Lord was myndeful of vs; and blesside vs. He blesside the hous of Israel; he blesside the hous of Aaron.
13 Il a béni tous ceux qui craignent le Seigneur, les plus petits avec les plus grands.
He blesside alle men that dreden the Lord; `he blesside litle `men with the grettere.
14 Que le Seigneur vous accorde de nouveaux biens, à vous et à vos fils.
The Lord encreesse on you; on you and on youre sones.
15 Soyez bénis du Seigneur, qui a fait le ciel et la terre.
Blessid be ye of the Lord; that made heuene and erthe.
16 Le ciel du ciel est au Seigneur; mais la terre, il l’a donnée aux fils des hommes.
Heuene of `heuene is to the Lord; but he yaf erthe to the sones of men.
17 Ce ne sont point les morts qui vous loueront, Seigneur, ni aucun de ceux qui descendent dans l’enfer. (questioned)
Lord, not deed men schulen herie thee; nether alle men that goen doun in to helle.
18 Mais nous qui vivons, nous bénissons le Seigneur, dès ce moment et jusqu’à jamais.
But we that lyuen, blessen the Lord; fro this tyme now and til in to the world.
