Marc 13
1 Lorsqu’il sortait du temple, un de ses disciples lui dit: Maître, voyez quelles pierres et quels bâtiments.
And as he went forth out of the temple, one of his disciples says to him, Teacher, see what kind of stones and what kind of buildings.
2 Et répondant, Jésus lui dit: Tu vois toutes ces grandes constructions? Il n’y restera pas pierre sur pierre, qui ne soit détruite.
And Jesus having answered, he said to him, See thou these great buildings? There will be left, no, not a stone upon a stone, that will, no, not be brought down.
3 Et comme il était assis sur le mont des Oliviers en face du temple, Pierre, Jacques, Jean et André lui demandaient en particulier:
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew questioned him privately,
4 Dites-nous quand ceci arrivera, et quel sera le signe que toutes ces choses commenceront de s’accomplir?
Tell us, when will these things be? And what is the sign when all these things are going to be fulfilled?
5 Et répondant, Jésus commença par leur dire: Prenez garde que personne ne vous séduise;
And having answered them, Jesus began to say to them, Watch that not any man lead you astray.
6 Car beaucoup viendront en mon nom, disant: C’est moi; et beaucoup seront séduits par eux.
For many will come in my name, saying, I am, and they will lead many astray.
7 Lorsque vous entendrez parler de guerres et de bruits de guerres, ne craignez point; car il faut que ces choses arrivent; mais ce n’est pas encore la fin.
And when ye may hear of wars and rumors of wars, be not alarmed, for it must happen, but the end is not yet.
8 Car une nation se soulèvera contre une nation, un royaume contre un royaume et il y aura des tremblements de terre en divers lieux, et des famines. C’est là le commencement des douleurs.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These things are the beginnings of travails.
9 Prenez-garde aussi à vous-mêmes. Car on vous traduira devant les tribunaux; vous serez battus dans les synagogues, et vous comparaîtrez à cause de moi devant les gouverneurs et les rois, en témoignage contre eux.
But watch ye yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and ye will be beaten in synagogues. And ye will be stood before rulers and kings because of me, for a testimony to them.
10 Mais il faut d’abord que l’Evangile soit prêché chez toutes les nations.
And the good news must first be preached to all the nations.
11 Lors donc qu’on vous conduira pour vous livrer, ne pensez point d’avance à ce que vous direz, mais ce qui vous sera inspiré à l’heure même, dites-le; car ce n’est pas vous qui parlez, mais l’Esprit-Saint.
But when they lead you, delivering you up, be not anxious before what ye might speak, nor meditate. But whatever may be given you in that hour, speak ye this, for ye are not who speak, but the Holy Spirit.
12 Un frère livrera son frère à la mort, et un père son fils; et des enfants s’élèveront contre leurs parents et ils les feront mourir.
And brother will betray brother to death, and a father a child. And children will rise up against parents, and will condemn them to death.
13 Et vous serez en haine à tous, à cause de mon nom. Mais celui qui restera ferme jusqu’à la fin, celui-là sera sauvé.
And ye will be hated by all men because of my name, but he who endures to the end, this man will be saved.
14 Or quand vous verrez l’abomination de la désolation là où elle ne doit pas être (que celui qui lit entende): alors que ceux qui sont dans la Judée, fuient vers les montagnes;
But when ye see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not (let him who reads understand), then let those in Judea flee to the mountains,
15 Et que celui qui est sur le toit, ne descende point dans la maison, et n’y entre point pour emporter quelque chose de sa maison;
and let the man on the housetop not go down into the house, nor enter in to take anything out of his house,
16 Et que celui qui sera dans le champ, ne retourne point sur ses pas pour prendre son vêtement.
and let the man who is in the field not turn back for the things behind, to take his cloak.
17 Mais malheur aux femmes enceintes, et à celles qui nourriront en ces jours-là.
But woe to those who have in the womb, and to those who suckle in those days.
18 Priez donc que ces choses n’arrivent point en hiver.
And pray ye that your flight may not be in winter.
19 Car ces jours seront des tribulations telles qu’il n’y en a point eu depuis le commencement des créatures que Dieu a faites jusqu’à présent, et qu’il n’y en aura point.
For those days will be tribulation, such as has not happened from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, and no, will not happen.
20 Et si le Seigneur n’avait abrégé ces jours, nulle chair n’aurait été sauvée; mais à cause des élus qu’il a choisis, il a abrégé ces jours.
And unless the Lord cut short the days, no flesh would have been saved, but because of the chosen, whom he chose, he cut short the days.
21 Et alors si quelqu’un vous dit: Voici le Christ ici, le voilà là, ne le croyez point.
And then if any man should say to you, Lo, here is the Christ, or, Lo, there, do not believe.
22 Car il s’élèvera de faux Christs et de faux prophètes, et ils feront des signes et des prodiges pour séduire, s’il peut se faire, même des élus.
For false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will give signs and wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen.
23 Vous donc, prenez garde: voilà que je vous ai tout prédit.
But watch ye. Behold, I have foretold all to you.
24 Or en ces jours-là, après cette tribulation, le soleil sera couvert de ténèbres, et la lune ne donnera plus sa lumière;
But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light,
25 Et les étoiles du ciel tomberont, et les vertus qui sont dans les cieux seront ébranlées.
and the stars of the sky will be falling, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.
26 Alors on verra le Fils de l’homme venant dans les nuées avec une grande puissance et une grande gloire;
And then they will see the Son of man coming in clouds with much power and glory.
27 Alors aussi il enverra ses anges, et il rassemblera ses élus, des quatre vents, de l’extrémité de la terre jusqu’à l’extrémité du ciel.
And then he will send forth his agents, and will gather together his chosen from the four winds, from the outermost part of the earth as far as the outermost part of heaven.
28 Apprenez la parabole prise du figuier. Lorsque ses rameaux sont encore tendres et que ses feuilles viennent de naître, vous connaissez que l’été est proche:
But learn a parable from the fig tree. When its branch now becomes tender, and sprouts the leaves, ye know that summer is near.
29 De même vous, quand vous verrez ces choses arriver, sachez que le Fils de l’homme est proche, à la porte,
So ye also, when ye may see these things happening, know ye that it is near, at the doors.
30 En vérité je vous dis que cette génération ne passera point que toutes ces choses ne s’accomplissent.
Truly I say to you, that this generation will, no, not pass away, until all these things happen.
31 Le ciel et la terre passeront, mais mes paroles ne passeront point.
The sky and the earth will pass away, but my words may, no, not pass away.
32 Mais sur ce jour ou sur cette heure, nul ne sait rien, ni les anges dans le ciel, ni le Fils, mais le Père seulement,
But about that day or that hour no man knows, not even the agents in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father.
33 Tenez-vous sur vos gardes, veillez et priez, puisque vous ne savez quand ce temps viendra.
Watch ye! Be alert and pray, for ye know not when the time is,
34 Comme un homme qui partant pour un voyage, et laissant sa maison, donne pouvoir à ses serviteurs, à chacun suivant sa fonction, et commande au portier de veiller.
like a man abroad, having left his house, and having given authority to his bondmen, and to each man his work, and commanded the doorkeeper that he should watch.
35 Veillez donc (car vous ignorez quand viendra le maître de la maison, le soir, ou au milieu de la nuit, ou au chant du coq, ou le matin),
Watch therefore, for ye know not when the lord of the house comes, at evening, or at midnight, or at cock crowing, or in the morning,
36 De peur que, venant subitement, il ne vous trouve endormis.
lest having come suddenly, he may find you sleeping.
37 Et ce que je vous dis, je le dis à tous: Veillez.
And what I say to you I say to all, watch!
