Lévitique 3

1 Lorsqu’un homme offrira un sacrifice pacifique, s’il offre du gros bétail, mâle ou femelle, il l’offrira sans défaut devant Yahweh.

But, if a peace-offering, be his oblation, if, of the herd, he himself, be bringing near, —whether male or female, without defect, shall he bring it near before Yahweh.

2 Il posera sa main sur la tête de la victime et il l’égorgera à l’entrée de la tente de réunion, et les prêtres, fils d’Aaron, répandront le sang sur les parois de l’autel tout autour.

Then shall he lean his hand upon the head of his oblation, and slay it at the entrance of the tent of meeting, —and the sons of Aaron the priests shall dash the blood against the altar round about,

3 De ce sacrifice pacifique, il offrira en sacrifice par le feu à Yahweh: la graisse qui enveloppe les entrailles et toute la graisse qui est attachée aux entrailles;

Then shall he bring near out of the peace-offering, an altar-flame unto Yahweh, —the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards;

4 les deux rognons avec la graisse qui les recouvre et qui tient à la région lombaire; la taie du foie qu’il détachera près des rognons.

and the two kidneys, and the fat which is upon them, which is upon the loins, —and the caul upon the liver, upon the kidneys, shall he remove it.

5 Les fils d’Aaron feront fumer cela sur l’autel, par-dessus l’holocauste placé sur le bois qui est sur le feu. C’est un sacrifice fait par le feu, d’une agréable odeur à Yahweh.

Then shall the sons of Aaron make thereof a perfume at the altar, upon the ascending-sacrifice which is on the wood, which is on the fire, —an altar-flame of a satisfying odour unto Yahweh.

6 S’il offre du menu bétail, mâle ou femelle, en sacrifice pacifique à Yahweh, il l’offrira sans défaut.

But, if out of the flock, be his oblation for a peace-offering unto Yahweh, whether male or female—without defect, shall he bring it near.

7 S’il offre en sacrifice un agneau, il le présentera devant Yahweh.

If a young sheep, he himself, be bringing near as his oblation, then shall he bring it near, before Yahweh.

8 Il posera sa main sur la tête de la victime et il l’égorgera devant la tente de réunion, et les fils d’Aaron en répandront le sang sur les parois de l’autel tout autour.

And he shall lean his hand upon the head of his oblation, and shall slay it before the tent of meeting, —and the sons of Aaron shall dash the blood thereof against the altar round about.

9 De ce sacrifice pacifique, il offrira en sacrifice par le feu à Yahweh: sa graisse, la queue entière, coupée près de l’échine; la graisse qui enveloppe les entrailles et toute la graisse qui est attachée aux entrailles;

Then shall he bring near out of the peace-offering, an altar-flame unto Yahweh, the fat thereof the fat-tail thereof entire close to the backbone, shall he remove it, —and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards;

10 les deux rognons, avec la graisse qui les recouvre et qui tient à la région lombaire; la taie du foie qu’il détachera près des rognons.

and the two kidneys, with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, —and the caul that is on the liver, on the kidneys, shall he remove it.

11 Le prêtre fera fumer cela sur l’autel: c’est l’aliment d’un sacrifice fait par le feu à Yahweh.

Then shall the priest make a perfume, at the altar, —the food of an altar-flame, unto Yahweh.

12 Si son offrande est une chèvre, il la présentera devant Yahweh.

But if a goat, be his oblation, then shall he bring it near, before Yahweh.

13 Il posera sa main sur la tête de la victime, et il l’égorgera devant la tente de réunion, et les fils d’Aaron en répandront le sang sur les parois de l’autel tout autour.

And he shall lean his hand upon its head, and shall slay it before the tent of meeting, —and the sons of Aaron shall dash its blood against the altar, round about.

14 De la victime, il offrira en sacrifice par le feu à Yahweh: la graisse qui enveloppe les entrailles et toute la graisse qui est attachée aux entrailles;

Then shall he bring near therefrom as his oblation an altar-flame unto Yahweh, —the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards;

15 les deux rognons, avec la graisse qui les recouvre et qui tient à la région lombaire; la taie du foie qu’il détachera près des rognons.

and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them which is on the loins, —the caul upon the liver, on the kidneys, shall he remove it.

16 Le prêtre fera fumer cela sur l’autel: c’est l’aliment d’un sacrifice fait par le feu d’une agréable odeur. Toute graisse appartient à Yahweh.

Then shall the priest make a perfume at the altar, —the food of an altar-flame for a satisfying odour, —all the fat—unto Yahweh.

17 C’est ici une loi perpétuelle pour vos descendants, en quelque lieu que vous habitiez: vous ne mangerez ni graisse, ni sang. »

An age-abiding statute to your generations, in all your dwellings, —none of the fat nor of the blood, shall ye eat.
