Psalmien 82

1 Asaphin Psalmi. Jumala seisoo Jumalan seurakunnassa: hän on tuomari Jumalain seassa.

Of Asaph. God stood in the synagoge of goddis; forsothe he demeth goddis in the myddil.

2 Kuinka kauvan te väärin tuomitsette, ja jumalattoman muotoa katsotte? (Sela)

Hou longe demen ye wickidnesse; and taken the faces of synneris?

3 Tehkää oikeus köyhälle ja orvolle, ja auttakaat raadolliset ja vaivaiset oikeudelle.

Deme ye to the nedi man, and to the modirles child; iustifie ye the meke man and pore.

4 Pelastakaat ylönkatsottua ja köyhää, ja päästäkäät häntä jumalattoman kädestä.

Raueische ye out a pore man; and delyuere ye the nedi man fro the hond of the synner.

5 Mutta ei he tottele eikä lukua pidä: he käyvät lakkaamata pimeässä: sentähden täytyy kaikki maan perustukset kaatua.

Thei knewen not, nether vndirstoden, thei goen in derknessis; alle the foundementis of erthe schulen be moued.

6 Minä tosin sanoin: te olette jumalat, ja kaikki Korkeimman lapset;

I seide, Ye ben goddis; and alle ye ben the sones of hiy God.

7 Kuitenkin täytyy teidän kuolla niinkuin ihmiset, ja niinkuin tyrannit hukkua.

But ye schulen die as men; and ye schulen falle doun as oon of the princis.

8 Nouse, Jumala, ja tuomitse maa; sillä kaikki pakanat ovat sinun omas.

Ryse, thou God, deme thou the erthe; for thou schalt haue eritage in alle folkis.
