1 Ja Herra vastasi Jobia tuulispäästä ja sanoi:
Forsothe the Lord answeride fro the whirlewynd to Joob,
2 Kuka on se, joka taidossansa niin eksyy ja puhuu niin taitamattomasti?
and seide, Who is this man, wlappynge sentences with vnwise wordis?
3 Vyötä nyt kupees niin kuin mies: Minä kysyn sinulta, opeta minua.
Girde thou as a man thi leendis; Y schal axe thee, and answere thou to me.
4 Kussas silloin olit, koska minä maan perustin? Ilmoita se, jos sinulla se ymmärrys on.
Where were thou, whanne Y settide the foundementis of erthe? schewe thou to me, if thou hast vndurstondyng.

19 Mikä tie on sinne, kussa valkeus asuu? ja kuka on pimeyden sia?

33 Tiedätkös, kuinka taivas hallitaan? eli taidatkos hänen hallituksensa toimittaa maan päällä?
Whether thou knowist the ordre of heuene, and schalt sette the resoun therof in erthe?
34 Taidatkos korottaa äänes ylös pilviin, että veden paljous sinun peittäis?
Whethir thou schalt reise thi vois in to a cloude, and the fersnesse of watris schal hile thee?
35 Taidatkos lähettää pitkäisen leimaukset matkaan menemään ja sanomaan sinulle: tässä me olemme?
Whethir thou schalt sende leitis, and tho schulen go, and tho schulen turne ayen, and schulen seie to thee, We ben present?
36 Kuka on asettanut taidon salaisuuteen eli kuka on ajatukselle antanut toimen?

37 Kuka on niin taitava, että hän pilvet lukea taitaa? ja kuka taitaa tukita vesitydyt taivaassa?
Who schal telle out the resoun of heuenes, and who schal make acordyng of heuene to sleep?
38 Kuin tomu kastuu ja juoksee yhteen, ja kokkareet ryhtyvät toinen toiseensa.
Whanne dust was foundid in the erthe, and clottis weren ioyned togidere?
39 Taidatkos jalopeuralle antaa hänen saaliinsa ajaaksensa takaa? ja ravita nuoret jalopeurat?
Whether thou schalt take prey to the lionesse, and schalt fille the soulis of hir whelpis,
