Teot 15
1 Ja muutamat tulivat alas Juudeasta ja opettivat veljiä: ellei teitä ympärileikata Moseksen tavan jälkeen, niin ette taida autuaaksi tulla.
And certain ones having come down from Judea were teaching the brothers that Only unless (you shall become circumcised *N(k)O*) according to the custom (*no*) of Moses, [then] not you are able to be saved.
2 Koska siis kapina nousi, ja ei ollut vähin kamppaus Paavalilla ja Barnabaalla heitä vastaan, sääsivät he, että Paavali ja Barnabas ja muutamia muita heistä, piti menemän apostolien ja vanhimpain tykö ylös Jerusalemiin tämän kysymyksen tähden.
When was hapening (then *N(k)O*) commotion and (controversy *N(k)O*) no small by Paul and Barnabas with them they appointed to go up Paul and Barnabas and certain others out from them to the apostles and elders to Jerusalem about question this.

They indeed therefore having been sent forward by the church were passing through (both *no*) Phoenicia and Samaria relating in detail the conversion of the Gentiles and they were bringing joy great to all the brothers.

Having come then to Jerusalem (they were received by *N(k)O*) the church and the apostles and the elders, They declared then how much God did with them.
5 Niin nousivat muutaman Pharisealaisten lahkokunnassa, jotka uskoneet olivat, sanoen: he pitää ympärileikattaman ja käskettämän Moseksen lakia pitää.
Rose up now certain of those of the sect of the Pharisees having believed saying that It is necessary to circumcise them to command [them] then to keep the law of Moses.
6 Niin apostolit ja vanhimmat tulivat kokoon, tätä puhetta tutkimaan.
Were gathered together (then *N(k)O*) the apostles and the elders to understand about matter this.
7 Mutta kuin suuri kamppaus ollut oli, nousi Pietari ja sanoi heille: miehet, rakkaat veljet! te tiedätte, että Jumala kauvan ennen tätä aikaa valitsi meidän seassamme, että pakanat piti minun suuni kautta evankeliumin sanan kuuleman ja uskoman.
Of much now (controversy *N(k)O*) having taken place, having risen up Peter said to them; Men brothers, you yourselves know that from days early among (you *N(K)O*) chose God through the mouth of mine to hear the Gentiles the word of the gospel and to believe.
8 Ja Jumala sydänten tutkia todisti heille ja antoi heille Pyhän Hengen niinkuin meillekin,
And the heart-knowing God bore witness to them having given (to them *k*) the Spirit Holy even as also to us;
9 Ja ei tehnyt yhtään eroitusta meidän ja heidän välillänsä, puhdistain uskolla heidän sydämensä.
and no [thing] He made distinction between us also and them by the faith having purified the hearts of them.
10 Miksi te siis nyt kiusaatte Jumalaa, että te tahdotte opetuslasten kaulaan panna sen ikeen, jota ei meidän isämme emmekä me voineet kantaa?
Now therefore why are you testing God to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples that neither the fathers of us nor we ourselves were able to bear?
11 Vaan me uskomme Herran Jesuksen Kristuksen armon kautta autuaaksi tulevamme niinkuin hekin.
But through the grace of the Lord Jesus (Christ *K*) we believe to be saved in [the] same manner [as] they also. they also.
12 Ja kaikki joukko vaikeni ja kuulteli Barnabasta ja Paavalia, jotka juttelivat, kuinka suuret merkit ja ihmeet Jumala oli heidän kauttansa pakanoissa tehnyt.
Kept silent now all the multitude and were listening to Barnabas and Paul relating how much did God signs and wonders among the Gentiles through them.
13 Vaan sitte kuin he vaikenivat, vastasi Jakob ja sanoi: miehet, rakkaat veljet, kuulkaat minua!
After now being silent they answered James saying; Men brothers, do hear me.
14 Simon jutteli, kuinka Jumala ensin on etsinyt omistaaksensa kansaa nimellensä pakanoista.
Simeon has related even as first God visited to take out of [the] Gentiles a people (upon *k*) for the name of Him;
15 Ja tämän kanssa prophetain sanat pitävät yhtä, niinkuin kirjoitettu on:
And with this agree the words of the prophets even as it has been written:
16 Senjälkeen tahdon minä palata, ja Davidin kaatuneen majan jälleen rakentaa, ja hänen reikänsä paikata, ja sen ojentaa:
After these things I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David which having fallen and the (ruined *NK(o)*) of it I will rebuild and I will set upright it;
17 Että ne, jotka ihmisistä jääneet ovat, pitää Herran perään kysymän, niin myös kaikki pakanat, joissa minun nimeni avuksihuudettu on, sanoo Herra, joka nämät tekee.
so that when may seek out the remnant of men the Lord and all the Gentiles, upon whom has been called the name of Me upon them, says [the] Lord (who *ko*) is doing these things (all *K*)
known from eternity’ (is to God all the works of him. *K*) (aiōn g165)
19 Sentähden minä päätän, ettemme niitä häiritsisi, jotka pakanoista Jumalan tykö kääntyvät;
Therefore I myself judge not to trouble those who from the Gentiles are turning to God,
20 Vaan kirjoittaisimme heille, että he välttäisivät epäjumalain saastaisuutta, ja salavuoteutta, ja läkähtynyttä ja verta.
but to write to them to abstain from (from *k*) the pollutions of the idols and sexual immorality and that which is strangled and from blood.
21 Sillä Moseksella on muinaiselta jokaisessa kaupungissa niitä, jotka häntä saarnaavat, koska se joka sabbatina synagogassa luetaan.
Moses for from generations of old in every city those proclaiming him he is in the synagogues on every Sabbath being read.
22 Silloin kelpasi apostoleille ja vanhimmille, koko seurakunnan kanssa, joukostansa valita miehiä ja lähettää Antiokiaan, Paavalin ja Barnabaan kanssa: nimittäin Juudaan, joka kutsuttiin Barsabas, ja Silaan, ylimmäiset miehet veljesten seassa.
Then it seemed good to the apostles and to the elders with all the church having chosen men out from them to send to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, Judas who (is being called *N(k)O*) Barsabbas and Silas, men leading among the brothers,
23 Ja kirjoittivat heidän kättensä kautta tällä tavalla: me apostolit ja vanhimmat veljet toivotamme veljille, jotka pakanoista Antiokiassa ja Syriassa ja Kilikiassa ovat, terveyttä!
having written through [the] hand of them (these things: *k*) The apostles and the elders (and the *K*) brothers To those in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia to brothers among the Gentiles Greeting.
24 Että me olemme kuulleet, kuinka muutamat meiltä lähteneet ovat teitä opillansa eksyttäneet ja teidän sielujanne vaivanneet, sanoen: teidän pitää itsenne antaman ympärileikata ja lain pitämän; joille emme ole käskeneet.
Inasmuch as we have heard that some from us went out troubled you by words upsetting the minds of you (saying to be circumcised and to keep the law *K*) to whom not we had given instructions,
25 Niin kelpasi meille yksimielisesti kokoontuneille valita miehiä ja teidän tykönne lähettää, meidän rakkaan Barnabaan ja Paavalin kanssa,
it seemed good to us having come with one accord (having chosen *N(k)O*) men to send to you with the beloved of us Barnabas and Paul,
26 Jotka miehet ovat sielunsa meidän Herramme Jesuksen Kristuksen nimen tähden alttiiksi antaneet.
men having handed over the lives of them for the name of the Lord of us Jesus Christ.
27 Niin me olemme lähettäneet Juudaan ja Silaan, jotka myös sen suusanalla teille ilmoittavat.
We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, and they through word [of mouth] are telling [you] the same things.
28 Sillä niin kelpasi Pyhälle Hengelle ja meille, ettei yhtään enempää raskautta pidä teidän päällenne pantaman kuin nämät tarpeelliset:
It seemed good for to the Spirit (*no*) Holy and to us no further to lay upon you burden except these necessary things
29 Että te vältätte epäjumalain uhria, ja verta, ja läkähtynyttä, ja salavuoteutta. Jos te niitä vältätte, niin te teette hyvin. Olkaat hyvästi!
to abstain from idol-sacrifices and from blood and (from a strangled [one] *N(k)O*) and from sexual immorality; From these keeping yourselves well you will do. Farewell!
30 Kuin he siis olivat lähteneet, tulivat he Antiokiaan, ja kokosivat kansan paljouden, ja antoivat heille kirjan.
They indeed therefore having been sent off (went *N(k)O*) to Antioch, and having gathered the multitude they delivered the letter.
31 Kuin he sen olivat lukeneet, ihastuivat he siitä lohdutuksesta.
Having read [it] now they rejoiced at the encouragement.
32 Mutta Juudas ja Silas, että hekin olivat prophetat, neuvoivat monilla sanoilla veljiä ja vahvistivat heitä.
Judas both and Silas, also themselves prophets being, through talk much exhorted the brothers and strengthened [them].
33 Ja kuin he siellä hetken aikaa viipyivät, lähetettiin he veljiltä jälleen rauhassa apostolien tykö.
Having continued then a time they were sent away in peace from the brothers to those (having sent *N(K)O*) (them. *no*)
34 Niin Silaan kelpasi siellä olla.
(It seemed good however to Silas to remain here. *K*)
35 Mutta Paavali ja Barnabas viipyivät Antiokiassa opettamassa ja ilmoittamassa Herran sanaa monen muun kanssa.
Paul however and Barnabas were staying in Antioch teaching and evangelising with also others many the word of the Lord.
36 Mutta muutamain päiväin perästä sanoi Paavali Barnabaalle: palatkaamme taas takaperin veljiä katsomaan kaikkiin kaupunkeihin, joissa me Herran sanaa ilmoittaneet olemme, kuinka he itsensä pitävät.
After now some days said to Barnabas Paul; Having turned back indeed let us look after the brothers (of us *k*) in city every in which we have announced the word of the Lord, how they are.
37 Mutta Barnabas neuvoi kanssansa ottamaan Johannesta, joka Markukseksi kutsuttiin.
Barnabas now (was planning *N(k)O*) to take along (also *no*) John who is being called Mark;
38 Mutta Paavali päätti sen kohtuulliseksi, ettei sitä pitänyt kanssa otettaman, joka oli luopunut heistä Pamphiliassa eikä tullut heidän kanssansa työhön.
Paul however was considering the [one] having withdrawn from them from Pamphylia and not having gone with them to the work not (to take along *N(k)(o)*) him.
39 Ja he riitelivät niin kovin keskenänsä, että he toinen toisestansa erkanivat. Ja Barnabas otti Markuksen kanssansa ja purjehti Kypriin.
Arose (therefore *N(k)O*) a sharp disagreement, so that separating they from one another, and Barnabas having taken Mark sailing to Cyprus.
40 Mutta Paavali valitsi Silaan ja matkusti, Jumalan armon haltuun annettu veljiltä,
Paul however having chosen Silas went forth having been committed to the grace of the (Lord *N(K)O*) by the brothers.
41 Ja vaelsi Syrian ja Kilikian kautta, ja vahvisti seurakunnat.
He was passing through then Syria and (*no*) Cilicia strengthening the churches.
