Markuksen 13
1 Ja kuin hän meni ulos templistä, sanoi yksi hänen opetuslapsistansa: Mestari! katso, minkäkaltaiset kivet ja minkäkaltaiset rakennukset ovat nämät.
And when is going forth He out of the temple says to Him one of the disciples of Him; Teacher, behold what stones and what buildings!
2 Ja Jesus vastaten sanoi hänelle: näetkös nämä suuret rakennukset? Ei näistä jätetä kiveä kiven päälle, jota ei maahan jaoteta.
And Jesus (answering *k*) said to him; See you these great buildings? certainly not may be left (here *NO*) stone upon (stone *N(k)O*) which certainly not may be thrown down.
3 Ja kuin hän istui Öljymäellä, templin kohdalla, kysyivät häneltä erinänsä Pietari ja Jakob, ja Johannes ja Andreas:
And when is sitting He upon the Mount of Olives opposite the temple (he was asking *N(k)O*) Him in private Peter and James and John and Andrew;
4 Sano meille, koska nämä tapahtuvat? Ja mikä merkki on, koska nämät kaikki päätetään?
do tell us: when these things will be And what [will be] the sign when may soon these things to be accomplished all
5 Niin Jesus, vastaten heitä, rupesi sanomaan: katsokaat, ettei joku teitä petä.
And Jesus (answering *k*) began to say to them; do take heed lest anyone you may mislead.
6 Sillä monta tulevat minun nimeeni, sanoen: minä olen, ja pettävät monta.
Many (for *ko*) will come in the name of Me saying that I myself am [He], and many they will mislead.
7 Mutta kuin te kuulette sotia ja sotain sanomia, niin älkäät hämmästykö; sillä ne pitää tapahtuman; vaan ei vielä loppu ole.
When then (you may hear of *NK(o)*) wars and rumors of wars, not do be disturbed; it must (for *ko*) come to pass, but not yet [is] the end.
8 Sillä kansa pitää nouseman kansaa vastaan ja valtakunta valtakuntaa vastaan, ja maanjäristykset pitää oleman jokaisessa paikassa, ja tulee nälkä ja metelit.
Will rise up for nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom; (and *k*) There will be earthquakes throughout places; (and *ko*) there will be famines (and disturbance; *K*) ([The] beginning *N(K)O*) of birth pains [are] these.
9 Nämät ovat murhetten alut. Mutta kavahtakaat itse teitänne; sillä he antavat ylön teidät raastupiin ja synagogiin. Ja te pieksetään ja johdatetaan päämiesten ja kuningasten eteen minun tähteni, heille todistukseksi.
do take heed however to yourselves; they will betray (for *ko*) you to courts and in synagogues you will be beaten and before governors and kings you will stand because of Me for a testimony to them.
10 Ja ennen pitää saarnattaman evankeliumi kaikessa kansassa.
And to all the nations first it behooves to proclaim the gospel.
11 Kuin he niin teitä vievät ja antavat ylön, niin älkäät edellä murehtiko, mitä teidän puhuman pitää, älkäät myös ennen ajatelko: vaan mitä teille sillä hetkellä annetaan, se puhukaat; sillä ette te ole, jotka puhutte, vaan Pyhä Henki.
(And *no*) when (now *k*) (they may lead away *N(k)O*) you delivering [you] up, not do be anxious beforehand what you may say (nor do devise; *K*) but whatever if shall be given to you in that [very] hour, that do speak; not for are you yourselves those speaking but the Spirit Holy.
12 Niin on veli antava ylön veljensä kuolemaan, ja isä pojan; ja lapset nousevat vanhempia vastaan, ja antavat tappaa heitä.
(And *no*) will deliver up (now *k*) brother brother to death and father child, and will rise up children against parents and will put to death them.
13 Ja tulette vihattavaksi kaikilta minun nimeni tähden; vaan joka vahvana pysyy loppuun asti, se tulee autuaaksi.
And you will be hated by all on account of the name of Me. the [one] however having endured to [the] end, he will be saved.
14 Mutta kuin te saatte nähdä hävityksen kauhistuksen, josta Daniel prophetan kautta sanottu on, seisovan kussa ei pitäisi: (joka sen lukee, hän ymmärtäköön; ) silloin, jotka Juudeassa ovat, ne paetkaan vuorille.
When then you may see the abomination of the desolation (which having been spoken of by Daniel prophet *K*) (already standing *N(k)(o)*) where not it should — the [one] reading he should understand — then those in Judea they should flee to the mountains;
15 Ja joka katon päällä on, älköön astuko alas huoneeseen, ja älköön menkö sisälle jotakin ottamaan huoneestansa.
the [one] and upon the housetop not he should come down (into house *KO*) nor should go in to take anything out of the house of him;
16 Ja joka pellolla on, älköön palatko takaisin ottamaan vaatettansa.
and the [one] in the field (being *k*) not he should return to the [things] back to take the clothing of him.
17 Voi raskaita vaimoja ja imettäväisiä niinä päivinä!
Woe then to those in womb [pregnancy] having and to the [ones] nursing infants in those days!
18 Mutta rukoilkaat, ettei pakonne tapahtuisi talvella.
do pray then that it not may happen (the flight of you *K*) in winter.
19 Sillä niinä aikoina pitää oleman senkaltainen vaiva, jonka kaltaista ei ole ollut luomisen alusta, kuin Jumala luonut on, niin tähän asti, eikä tuleman pidä.
will be [in] for the days those tribulation such as never has been [the] like from [the] beginning of creation (which *N(k)O*) created God until now — and certainly not may happen.
20 Ja ellei Herra olisi lyhentänyt niitä päiviä, niin ei yksikään liha tulisi autuaaksi; mutta valittujen tähden, jotka hän on valinnut, lyhensi hän ne päivät.
And only unless shortened [the] Lord the days, not then would there have been saved any flesh; but on account of the elect whom He chose He has shortened the days.
21 Ja silloin, jos joku sanoo teille: katso, tässä on Kristus, taikka: katso, siellä; niin älkäät uskoko.
And then if anyone to you shall say; (behold *N(k)O*) here [is] the Christ (or *KO*) (behold *N(k)O*) there! not (you do believe [it]. *N(k)O*)
22 Sillä väärät Kristukset ja väärät prophetat nousevat, ja merkkejä ja ihmeitä tekevät, pettääksensä, jos mahdollinen olis, valituitakin.
There will arise for false Christs and false prophets and will give signs and wonders so as to deceive if possible (and *ko*) the elect.
23 Mutta te kavahtakaat: katso, minä olen teille kaikki ennen sanonut.
You yourselves however do take heed; (behold *K*) I have foretold to you all things.
24 Mutta niinä päivinä, sen vaivan jälkeen, pitää auringon pimenemän ja kuu ei anna valoansa.
But in those days after the tribulation those The sun will be darkened, and the moon not will give the light of it,
25 Ja taivaan tähdet pitää putooman, ja taivasten voimat pitää liikutettaman.
and the stars will be out of the heaven (falling, *N(k)O*) and the powers that [are] in the heavens will be shaken.’
26 Ja silloin heidän pitää näkemän Ihmisen Pojan tulevan pilvissä suurella voimalla ja kunnialla.
And then will they behold the Son of Man coming in [the] clouds with power great and glory.
27 Ja silloin hän lähettää enkelinsä, ja kokoo valittunsa neljästä tuulesta, hamasta maan äärestä niin taivaan ääreen asti.
And then He will send the angels (of him *K*) and will gather together the elect of Him from the four winds from [the] end of earth until [the] end of heaven.
28 Mutta fikunapuusta oppikaat vertaus: kuin sen oksa on tuores ja lehdet puhkeavat, niin te tiedätte, että suvi on läsnä.
Of now the fig tree do learn the parable: When already the branch of it tender may become, and may it put forth the leaves, you know that near the summer is.
29 Niin myös te, kuin te nämät näette tapahtuvan, niin tietäkäät, että se on läsnä oven edessä.
So also you yourselves, when you may see these things coming to pass, do know that near He is at [the] doors.
30 Totisesti sanon minä teille: ei suinkaan tämän sukukunnan pidä hukkuman ennen kuin kaikki nämät tapahtuvat.
Amen I say to you that certainly not may have passed away generation this until when these things all may happen.
31 Taivas ja maa pitää hukkuman; mutta minun sanani ei pidä suinkaan hukkuman.
The heaven and the earth (will pass away, *NK(o)*) but the words of Mine certainly not (will pass away. *N(k)O*)
32 Mutta siitä päivästä ja hetkestä ei tiedä kenkään, ei enkelitkään, jotka ovat taivaassa, ei Poikakaan, vaan Isä.
Concerning now the day that (or *N(k)O*) the hour no [one] knows not even the angels (*k*) in heaven nor the Son only except the Father.
33 Kavahtakaat, valvokaat ja rukoilkaat, sillä ette tiedä, koska se aika tulee.
do take heed, do watch (and do pray; *KO*) not you know for when the time is.
34 Niinkuin ihminen, joka muille maille vaelsi, jätti huoneensa ja antoi palveliainsa haltuun, ja kullekin hänen askareensa, ja käski ovenvartiain valvoa;
[It is] like a man going on a journey having left the house of him and having given to the servants of him authority, (and *k*) to each one the work of him, And the doorkeeper he commanded that he may keep watch.
35 Niin valvokaat siis: (sillä ette tiedä, koska huoneen Herra tuleva on, ehtoona, taikka puoliyönä, eli kukon laulaissa, eli aamulla: )
do watch therefore; not you know for when the master of the house comes (or *no*) at evening or (at midnight *N(k)O*) or when the rooster crows or morning;
36 Ettei hän äkisti tullessansa löytäisi teitä makaamasta.
lest having come suddenly he may find you sleeping.
37 Mutta mitä minä teille sanoin, sen minä kaikille sanon: valvokaat!
(What [thing] *N(k)O*) now to you I say, to all I say: do watch.
