< Psalmowo 86 >
1 David ƒe gbedodoɖa. Ɖo tom, O Yehowa, eye nàtɔ nam, elabena meda ahe, eye hiã tum.
Bow down your ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy.

Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O you my God, save your servant that trusts in you.
3 O! Aƒetɔ, kpɔ nye nublanui, elabena mele yɔwòm ŋkeke blibo la.
Be merciful to me, O Lord: for I cry to you daily.
4 O! Aƒetɔ, tsɔ dzidzɔ vɛ na wò dɔla, elabena wòe medo nye luʋɔ ɖe dzi na.
Rejoice the soul of your servant: for to you, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
5 O! Aƒetɔ, ènyo, eye nètsɔna kena, lɔlɔ̃ bɔ ɖe asiwò na ame siwo katã yɔa wò.
For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy to all them that call on you.
6 O! Yehowa, se nye gbedodoɖa, eye nàlé to ɖe nye nublanuiɣli ŋu.
Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.
7 Le nye xaxagbe, mayɔ wò elabena àtɔ nam.
In the day of my trouble I will call on you: for you will answer me.
8 O! Aƒetɔ aɖeke megale mawuawo dome abe wò ene o; nuwɔna aɖeke mesɔ kple tɔwò o.
Among the gods there is none like to you, O Lord; neither are there any works like to your works.
9 O! Aƒetɔ, dukɔ siwo katã nèwɔ la ava asubɔ le ŋkuwò me, eye woatsɔ ŋutikɔkɔe ana wò ŋkɔ.
All nations whom you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord; and shall glorify your name.

For you are great, and do wondrous things: you are God alone.

14 O! Mawu, dadalawo tso ɖe ŋunye, ŋutasẽlawo ƒe ha ti nye agbe yome, eye wonye ŋutsu siwo mebu wò ɖe naneke me o.
O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set you before them.
15 O! Aƒetɔ, ke wò la, Mawu si kpɔa nublanui, eye wòvea ame nu lae nènye, mèdoa dɔmedzoe kabakaba o, lɔlɔ̃ bɔ ɖe asiwò, eye nèwɔa nuteƒe.
But you, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
16 Trɔ ɖe ŋutinye, eye nàkpɔ nublanui nam; na wò ŋusẽ wò dɔla, eye nàɖe viwò ŋutsu nuteƒewɔla.
O turn to me, and have mercy on me; give your strength to your servant, and save the son of your handmaid.

Show me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because you, LORD, have helped me, and comforted me.
