Psalmowo 21
1 David ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la. O! Yehowa, fia la le dzidzɔ kpɔm le wò ŋusẽ me. Ale gbegbe wòle aseye tsom le dziɖuɖu gã siwo nènae la ta!
To victorie, the salm of Dauid. Lord, the kyng schal be glad in thi vertu; and he schal ful out haue ioye greetli on thin helthe.
2 Ètsɔ nu si eƒe dzi di la nɛ, eye nèwɔ nu siwo wòtsɔ eƒe nu bia la dzi nɛ. (Sela)
Thou hast youe to hym the desire of his herte; and thou hast not defraudid hym of the wille of hise lippis.
3 Ètsɔ yayra xɔasi geɖewo do dza nɛ, eye nètsɔ fiakuku si wowɔ kple sika nyuitɔ la ɖɔ nɛ.
For thou hast bifor come hym in the blessyngis of swetnesse; thou hast set on his heed a coroun of preciouse stoon.
4 Ebia agbe wò, eye nènae hedidi eƒe ŋkekewo tso mavɔ me yi mavɔ me.
He axide of thee lijf, and thou yauest to hym; the lengthe of daies in to the world, `and in to the world of world.
5 Eƒe ŋkɔxɔxɔ de du to dziɖuɖu siwo nènae la me. Ètsɔ atsyɔ̃ kple bubu kɔ ɖe eya amea dzi.
His glorie is greet in thin helthe; thou schalt putte glorie, and greet fayrnesse on hym.
6 Vavã ènae yayra si nu meyina o, eye nèna dzidzɔkpɔkpɔ kple aseyetsotsoe le ŋkuwò me.
For thou schalt yyue hym in to blessing in to the world of world; thou schalt make hym glad in ioye with thi cheer.
7 Elabena fia la ɖo dzi ɖe Yehowa ŋu, eye le Dziƒoʋĩtɔ la ƒe lɔlɔ̃ si meʋãna o ta la, mavɔ̃ akpɔ gbeɖe o.
For the kyng hopith in the Lord; and in the merci of the hiyeste he schal not be moued.
8 Wò asi alé wò futɔwo katã, eye wò nuɖusi atu wò ketɔwo.
Thyn hond be foundun to alle thin enemyes; thi riythond fynde alle hem that haten thee.
9 Ne wò vavaɣi ɖo la, àwɔ wo abe kpodzo bibi ene. Yehowa ami wo le eƒe dɔmedzoe me, eye eƒe dzo afia wo katã.
Thou schalt putte hem as a furneis of fier in the tyme of thi cheer; the Lord schal disturble hem in his ire, and fier schal deuoure hem.
10 Àtsrɔ̃ woƒe dzidzimeviwo ɖa le anyigba dzi, eye àtsrɔ̃ woƒe nunɔamesiwo ɖa le amegbetɔwo dome.
Thou schalt leese the fruyt of hem fro erthe; and `thou schalt leese the seed of hem fro the sones of men.
11 Togbɔ be wole vɔ̃ ɖom ɖe ŋuwò, eye wowɔ ɖoɖowo be woasẽ ŋuta le ŋuwò hã la, madze edzi na wo o,
For thei bowiden yuels ayens thee; thei thouyten counseils, whiche thei myyten not stablische.
12 elabena ne èdidi wò aŋutrɔ ɖe wo dzi la, woatrɔ ʋu me ade wò adzo.
For thou schalt putte hem abac; in thi relifs thou schalt make redi the cheer of hem.
13 Ède ŋgɔ, O! Yehowa, le wò ŋusẽ me; eya ta míadzi ha, eye míakafu wò ŋusẽ.
Lord, be thou enhaunsid in thi vertu; we schulen synge, and seie opinly thi vertues.
