An end - someone puts to the darkness and to every outermost part he [is] searching for [the] stone of gloom and deep darkness.
4 Eɖe do wògoglo yi eme ʋĩi hedidi tso amenɔƒe gbɔ, teƒe si amewo ƒe afɔ mede kpɔ o; teƒe goglo sia, si didi tso amewo gbɔ lae wonɔa ka me henɔa nyenyem le yame le.
He breaks open a shaft - away from with a sojourner forgotten from foot they hang down away from humankind they swing.
5 Anyigba si me wokpɔa nuɖuɖu tsonae lae wotrɔ le tome abe dzo me wòto ene.
[the] earth From it it comes forth food and under it it is turned over like fire.
6 Woɖea safirkpe tso eƒe kpe siwo wogbã la me eye woɖea sika tso eƒe kewɔ me.
[are] a place of Sapphire stones its and dust of gold [belong] to it.
7 Xe ƒonuwo menya toƒe ɣaɣla ma o eye aʋako aɖeke ƒe ŋku mekpɔe kpɔ o
[the] path Not it knows it a bird of prey and not it catches sight of it [the] eye of a hawk.
8 Gbemelã siwo dana la meka afɔ afi ma kpɔ o, eye dzata aɖeke hã mezɔ afi ma kpɔ o.

9 Ame ƒe asi gbã kpe sesẽawo eye wòna towo te dze go.
On the flint he stretches out hand his he overturns from [the] root mountains.
10 Eɖea mɔ ɖe kpeawo tome eye eƒe ŋkuwo kpɔa eƒe nu xɔasi vovovowo katã.
In the rocks shafts he splits open and every precious thing it sees eye his.
11 Etsana le tsidzɔƒewo eye wòhea nu ɣaɣlawo vaa kekeli nu.
From weeping rivers he restrains and secret her he brings out light.
12 “Ke afi ka woakpɔ nunya le? Afi ka gɔmesese nɔna?
And wisdom from where? will it be found and where? this [is the] place of understanding.
13 Amegbetɔ mese eƒe nuvãnyenye gɔme o, womate ŋu akpɔe le agbagbeawo ƒe anyigba dzi o.
Not he knows humankind valuation its and not it is found in [the] land of the living [ones].
14 Gogloƒe gblɔ be, ‘Menye tɔnyee o,’ Atsiaƒu gblɔ be, ‘Mele gbɔnye o,’
[the] deep It says not [is] in me it and [the] sea it says not [it] [is] with me.
15 Womate ŋu aƒlee kple sika nyuitɔ alo woada klosalo ɖe eƒe home nu o.

Not it will be comparable to it gold and glass and [is] exchange its a vessel of pure gold.
18 Womayɔ sui kple adzagba ƒe ŋkɔwo gɔ̃ hã ɖe eŋu o elabena nunya ƒe asixɔxɔ kɔ wu gbloti tɔ sãsãsã.
Corals and crystal not it is remembered and [the] price of wisdom [is] more than pearls.
19 Womatsɔ Kuskpe xɔasi, topaz, asɔ kplii o eye sika nyuitɔ mate ŋu aƒlee o.
Not it will be comparable to it topaz of Cush in gold pure not it will be paid.
20 “Ekema afi ka nunya tso? Afi ka nye gɔmesese ƒe nɔƒe?
And wisdom from where? does it come and where? this [is the] place of understanding.
21 Eɣla ɖe nu gbagbe ɖe sia ɖe ƒe ŋkukpɔƒe eye woɣlae ɖe dziƒoxeviwo gɔ̃ hã.
And it has been concealed from [the] eyes of every living [thing] and from [the] bird[s] of the heavens it has been hidden.
22 Tsiẽƒe kple ku gblɔ be, ‘Nyasegblɔ tso eŋuti koe ɖo míaƒe towo me.’
Abaddon and death they say with ears our we have heard report its.
23 Mawue nya egbɔmɔ eye eya koe nya afi si wòle.
God he understands way its and he he knows place its.
24 Elabena eyae tea ŋu kpɔa anyigba ƒe mlɔenu ke, eye wòkpɔa nu sia nu si le ɣea te.
For he to [the] ends of the earth he looks under all the heavens he sees.
25 Esi wòɖo ya ƒe ŋusẽ anyi, hedzidze tsiwo vɔ,
To make for the wind weight and [the] waters he has measured with a measure.
26 esi wòwɔ se na tsidzadza, heta mɔ na dziɖegbe kple ahom vɔ la,
When made he for the rain a decree and a path for [the] storm of thunder claps.
27 enye kɔ kpɔ nunya, dzro eme kpɔ eye wòda asi ɖe edzi, hedoe kpɔ.
Then he saw it and he recounted it he established it and also he examined it.
28 Tete wògblɔ na amegbetɔ be, ‘Kpɔ ɖa, Aƒetɔ la vɔvɔ̃e nye nunya eye nugbegbe le vɔ̃ gbɔe nye gɔmesese.’”
And he said - to humankind here! [the] fear of [the] Lord that [is] wisdom and to turn from evil [is] understanding.
