Psalms 86

1 A Prayer of David. Incline, O Jehovah, Thine ear, Answer me, for I [am] poor and needy.

Prigni, Gospode! uho svoje i usliši me, jer sam nevoljan i ništ.

2 Keep my soul, for I [am] pious, Save Thy servant — who is trusting to Thee, O Thou, my God.

Saèuvaj dušu moju, jer sam tvoj poklonik. Spasi slugu svojega, Bože moj, koji se u te uzda.

3 Favour me, O Lord, for to Thee I call all the day.

Smiluj se na me, Gospode, jer k tebi vièem vas dan.

4 Rejoice the soul of Thy servant, For unto Thee, O Lord, my soul I lift up.

Obeseli dušu sluge svojega, jer k tebi, Gospode, podižem dušu svoju.

5 For Thou, Lord, [art] good and forgiving. And abundant in kindness to all calling Thee.

Jer si ti, Gospode, dobar i milosrdan i veoma milostiv svima koji te prizivlju.

6 Hear, O Jehovah, my prayer, And attend to the voice of my supplications.

Èuj, Gospode, molitvu moju, i slušaj glas moljenja mojega.

7 In a day of my distress I call Thee, For Thou dost answer me.

U dan tuge svoje prizivljem te, jer æeš me uslišiti.

8 There is none like Thee among the gods, O Lord, And like Thy works there are none.

Nema meðu bogovima takoga kakav si ti, Gospode, i nema djela takijeh kakva su tvoja.

9 All nations that Thou hast made Come and bow themselves before Thee, O Lord, And give honour to Thy name.

Svi narodi, koje si stvorio, doæi æe i pokloniti se pred tobom, Gospode, i slaviti ime tvoje.

10 For great [art] Thou, and doing wonders, Thou [art] God Thyself alone.

Jer si ti velik i tvoriš èudesa; ti si jedan Bog.

11 Show me, O Jehovah, Thy way, I walk in Thy truth, My heart doth rejoice to fear Thy name.

Pokaži mi, Gospode, put svoj, i iæi æu u istini tvojoj; uèini neka se mili srcu mojemu bojati se imena tvojega.

12 I confess Thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I honour Thy name to the age.

Slaviæu te, Gospode Bože moj, svijem srcem svojim, i poštovaæu ime tvoje dovijeka.

13 For Thy kindness [is] great toward me, And Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol. (Sheol h7585)

Jer je milost tvoja velika nada mnom, i izvadio si dušu moju iz pakla najdubljega. (Sheol h7585)

14 O God, the proud have risen up against me, And a company of the terrible sought my soul, And have not placed Thee before them,

Bože, oholice ustaše na mene, i gomila nasilnika traži dušu moju, i nemaju tebe pred sobom.

15 And Thou, O Lord, [art] God, merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in kindness and truth.

Ali ti, Gospode, Bože milostivi i blagi, strpljivi i bogati dobrotom i istinom,

16 Look unto me, and favour me, Give Thy strength to Thy servant, And give salvation to a son of Thine handmaid.

Pogledaj na me i smiluj mi se, daj silu svoju sluzi svojemu, i pomozi sinu sluškinje svoje;

17 Do with me a sign for good, And those hating me see and are ashamed, For Thou, O Jehovah, hast helped me, Yea, Thou hast comforted me!

Uèini sa mnom èudo dobrote. Neka vide koji me nenavide, i postide se, što si mi, Gospode, pomogao i utješio me.
