< Psalms 48 >
1 A Song, a Psalm, by sons of Korah. Great [is] Jehovah, and praised greatly, In the city of our God — His holy hill.
Bawipa taw Boeimang na a awm dawngawh, ningnih a kyihcah tyng na awm qoe hy.
2 Beautiful [for] elevation, A joy of all the land, [is] Mount Zion, The sides of the north, the city of a great king.
A sangnaak awh ak leek soeih, khawmdek awmhlynaak na awm hy. Boeimang soeih sangpahrang a khawk bau taw Zaphon tlang a sangnaak soeih Zion tlang amyihna awm hy.
3 God in her high places is known for a tower.

4 For, lo, the kings met, they passed by together,
Sangpahrangkhqi ing za qu unawh, cem a qaal na ami ceh haih awh,
5 They have seen — so they have marvelled, They have been troubled, they were hastened away.
Anih ce hu tawk qat unawh cat uhy, kyih doena cen bang uhy.
6 Trembling hath seized them there, Pain, as of a travailing woman.
Cawh ce thyn ngawng ngawng unawh, nu ca awm tlawh ing a kee amyihna awm uhy.
7 By an east wind Thou shiverest ships of Tarshish.

8 As we have heard, so we have seen, In the city of Jehovah of hosts, In the city of our God, God doth establish her — to the age. (Selah)
Ningmih ing ning zaak amyihna, Boeimang Bawipa ningnih a Khawsa khawk bau khuiawh ni huh hawh amyihna; Khawsa ing khawk bau ce kumqui dyna loet sak hy.
9 We have thought, O God, of Thy kindness, In the midst of Thy temple,
Aw Khawsa, na bawkim khuiawh, amak dyt thai na lungnaak ce poek unyng.
10 As [is] Thy name, O God, so [is] Thy praise, Over the ends of the earth, Righteousness hath filled Thy right hand.
Aw Khawsa, namah ang ming amyihna nam kyihnaak ing khawmdek a dytnaak pha nawh, nak tang ben kut ce dyngnaak ing be loet hy.
11 Rejoice doth Mount Zion, The daughters of Judah are joyful, For the sake of Thy judgments.
Nak awidengnaak awh ce, Zion tlang ing zeel nawh, Juda khawkhqi ing amik kaw zeel hy.
12 Compass Zion, and go round her, count her towers,
Zion kqang cet lah, a keng kqang cet nawhtaw, qaltoeng imkhqi ce noet lah,
13 Set your heart to her bulwark, Consider her high places, So that ye recount to a later generation,
Na cadilkhqi venawh nak kqawn peek na qaal a qeh awh dek ak cawhkhqi ingkaw a khawk bau ce toek lah.
14 That this God [is] our God — To the age and for ever, He — he doth lead us over death!
