Psalms 51
1 To victorie, the salm of Dauid; `whanne Nathan the prophete cam to hym, whanne he entride to Bersabee. God, haue thou merci on me; bi thi greet merci. And bi the mychilnesse of thi merciful doyngis; do thou awei my wickidnesse.
Unirehemu, Mungu, kwa sababu ya uaminifu wa agano lako; kwa ajili ya wingi wa matendo yako ya rehema, uyafute makosa yangu.
2 More waische thou me fro my wickidnesse; and clense thou me fro my synne.
Unioshe kabisa uovu wangu na unisafishe dhambi zangu.
3 For Y knouleche my wickidnesse; and my synne is euere ayens me.
Kwa maana ninayajua makosa yangu, na dhambi yangu iko mbele yako siku zote.
4 I haue synned to thee aloone, and Y haue do yuel bifor thee; that thou be iustified in thi wordis, and ouercome whanne thou art demed. For lo!
Dhidi yako, wewe pekee, nimetenda dhambi na kufanya uovu mbele ya macho yako; uko sawa usemapo; wewe uko sahahi utoapo hukumu.
5 Y was conseyued in wickednessis; and my modir conceyuede me in synnes.
Tazama, nilizaliwa katika uovu; pindi tu mama yangu aliponibeba mimba, nilikuwa katika dhambi. Tazama, wewe unahitaji uaminifu ndani ya moyo wangu;
6 For lo! thou louedist treuthe; thou hast schewid to me the vncerteyn thingis, and pryuy thingis of thi wisdom.
katika moyo wangu wewe utanifanya niijue hekima.
7 Lord, sprenge thou me with ysope, and Y schal be clensid; waische thou me, and Y schal be maad whijt more than snow.
Unisafishe kwa hisopo, nami nitakuwa safi; unioshe, nami nitakuwa mweupe kuliko theluji.
8 Yyue thou ioie, and gladnesse to myn heryng; and boonys maad meke schulen ful out make ioye.
Unifanye kusikia furaha na shangwe ili kwamba mifupa ulioivunja ifurahi.
9 Turne awei thi face fro my synnes; and do awei alle my wickidnesses.
Uufiche uso wako mbali na dhambi zangu na uyafute maovu yangu yote.
10 God, make thou a clene herte in me; and make thou newe a riytful spirit in my entrailis.
Uniumbie moyo safi, Mungu, na uifanye upya roho ya haki ndani yangu.
11 Caste thou me not awei fro thi face; and take thou not awei fro me thin hooli spirit.
Usiniondoe uweponi mwako, na usimuondoe roho Mtakatifu ndani yangu.
12 Yiue thou to me the gladnesse of thyn helthe; and conferme thou me with the principal spirit.
Unirudishie furaha ya wokovu wako, na unihifadhi mimi kwa roho ya utayari.
13 I schal teche wickid men thi weies; and vnfeithful men schulen be conuertid to thee.
Ndipo nitawafundisha wakosaji jia zako, na wenye dhambi watakugeukia wewe.
14 God, the God of myn helthe, delyuere thou me fro bloodis; and my tunge schal ioyfuli synge thi riytfulnesse.
Unisamehe kwa ajili ya umwagaji damu, Mungu wa wokovu wangu, nami nitapiga kelele za shangwe ya haki yako.
15 Lord, `opene thou my lippis; and my mouth schal telle thi preysyng.
Ee Bwana, uifungue midomo yangu, na mdomo wangu itazieleza sifa zako.
16 For if thou haddist wold sacrifice, Y hadde youe; treuli thou schalt not delite in brent sacrifices.
Kwa maana wewe haufurahishwi katika sadaka, vinginevyo ningekutolea sadaka; wewe hauwi radhi katika sadaka ya kuteketezwa.
17 A sacrifice to God is a spirit troblid; God, thou schalt not dispise a contrit herte and `maad meke.
Sadaka ya Mungu ni roho iliyovunjika. Wewe, Mungu hautadharau moyo uliopondeka na kujutia.
18 Lord, do thou benygneli in thi good wille to Syon; that the wallis of Jerusalem be bildid.
Uitendee mema Sayuni katika nia yako nzuri; uzijenge tena kuta za Yerusalem.
19 Thanne thou schalt take plesauntli the sacrifice of riytfulnesse, offryngis, and brent sacrifices; thanne thei schulen putte calues on thin auter.
Kisha wewe utafurahia sadaka yenye haki, katika sadaka za kuteketeza; ndipo watu wetu watatoa ng'ombe kwenye madhabahu yako.
