Psalms 33
1 Ye iust men, haue fulli ioye in the Lord; presyng togidere bicometh riytful men.
Mwimbieni Bwana kwa furaha, enyi wenye haki; kusifu kunawapasa wanyofu wa moyo.
2 Knouleche ye to the Lord in an harpe; synge ye to hym in a sautre of ten strengis.
Msifuni Bwana kwa kinubi, mwimbieni sifa kwa zeze la nyuzi kumi.
3 Synge ye to hym a newe song; seie ye wel salm to hym in criyng.
Mwimbieni wimbo mpya; pigeni kwa ustadi, na mpaze sauti za shangwe.
4 For the word of the Lord is riytful; and alle hise werkis ben in feithfulnesse.
Maana neno la Bwana ni haki na kweli, ni mwaminifu kwa yote atendayo.
5 He loueth merci and doom; the erthe is ful of the merci of the Lord.
Bwana hupenda uadilifu na haki; dunia imejaa upendo wake usiokoma.
6 Heuenes ben maad stidfast bi the word of the Lord; and `al the vertu of tho bi the spirit of his mouth.
Kwa neno la Bwana mbingu ziliumbwa, jeshi lao la angani kwa pumzi ya kinywa chake.
7 And he gaderith togidere the watris of the see as in a bowge; and settith depe watris in tresours.
Ameyakusanya maji ya bahari kama kwenye chungu; vilindi vya bahari ameviweka katika ghala.
8 Al erthe drede the Lord; sotheli alle men enhabitynge the world ben mouyd of hym.
Dunia yote na imwogope Bwana, watu wote wa dunia wamche.
9 For he seide, and thingis weren maad; he comaundide, and thingis weren maad of nouyt.
Kwa maana Mungu alisema, na ikawa, aliamuru na ikasimama imara.
10 The Lord distrieth the counsels of folkis, forsothe he repreueth the thouytis of puplis; and he repreueth the counsels of prynces.
Bwana huzuia mipango ya mataifa, hupinga makusudi ya mataifa.
11 But the counsel of the Lord dwellith with outen ende; the thouytis of his herte dwellen in generacioun and into generacioun.
Lakini mipango ya Bwana inasimama imara milele, makusudi ya moyo wake kwa vizazi vyote.
12 Blessid is the folk, whose Lord is his God; the puple which he chees into eritage to hym silf.
Heri taifa ambalo Bwana ni Mungu wao, watu ambao aliwachagua kuwa urithi wake.
13 The Lord bihelde fro heuene; he siy alle the sones of men.
Kutoka mbinguni Bwana hutazama chini na kuwaona wanadamu wote;
14 Fro his dwellyng place maad redi bifor; he bihelde on alle men, that enhabiten the erthe.
kutoka maskani mwake huwaangalia wote wakaao duniani:
15 Which made syngulerli the soules of hem; which vndurstondith all the werkis of hem.
yeye ambaye huumba mioyo yao wote, ambaye huangalia kila kitu wanachokitenda.
16 A kyng is not sauyd bi myche vertu; and a giaunt schal not be sauyd in the mychilnesse of his vertu.
Hakuna mfalme aokokaye kwa ukubwa wa jeshi lake; hakuna shujaa aokokaye kwa wingi wa nguvu zake.
17 An hors is false to helthe; forsothe he schal not be sauyd in the habundaunce, `ether plentee, of his vertu.
Farasi ni tumaini la bure kwa wokovu, licha ya nguvu zake nyingi, hawezi kuokoa.
18 Lo! the iyen of the Lord ben on men dredynge hym; and in hem that hopen on his merci.
Lakini macho ya Bwana yako kwa wale wamchao, kwa wale tumaini lao liko katika upendo wake usio na kikomo,
19 That he delyuere her soules fro deth; and feede hem in hungur.
ili awaokoe na mauti, na kuwahifadhi wakati wa njaa.
20 Oure soule suffreth the Lord; for he is oure helpere and defendere.
Sisi tunamngojea Bwana kwa matumaini, yeye ni msaada wetu na ngao yetu.
21 For oure herte schal be glad in him; and we schulen haue hope in his hooli name.
Mioyo yetu humshangilia, kwa maana tunalitumainia jina lake takatifu.
22 Lord, thi merci be maad on vs; as we hopiden in thee.
Upendo wako usio na mwisho ukae juu yetu, Ee Bwana, tunapoliweka tumaini letu kwako.
