Psalms 148
1 Alleluya. Ye of heuenes, herie the Lord; herie ye hym in hiye thingis.
Louez l'Éternel! Louez l'Éternel dans les cieux; louez-le dans les plus hauts lieux!
2 Alle hise aungels, herie ye hym; alle hise vertues, herye ye hym.
Tous ses anges, louez-le; toutes ses armées, louez-le!
3 Sunne and moone, herie ye hym; alle sterris and liyt, herie ye hym.
Louez-le, soleil et lune; louez-le toutes, étoiles brillantes!
4 Heuenes of heuenes, herie ye hym; and the watris that ben aboue heuenes,
Louez-le, cieux des cieux, et vous, eaux qui êtes au-dessus des cieux!
5 herie ye the name of the Lord.
Qu'ils louent le nom de l'Éternel; car il a commandé, et ils ont été créés.
6 For he seide, and thingis weren maad; he comaundide, and thingis weren maad of nouyt. He ordeynede tho thingis in to the world, and in to the world of world; he settide a comaundement, and it schal not passe.
Il les a affermis pour toujours, à perpétuité; il y a mis un ordre qui ne changera point.
7 Ye of erthe, herie ye the Lord; dragouns, and alle depthis of watris.
Louez l'Éternel sur la terre; vous, monstres marins, et tous les abîmes;
8 Fier, hail, snow, iys, spiritis of tempestis; that don his word.
Feu et grêle, neige et vapeur, vents de tempête, qui exécutez sa parole;
9 Mounteyns, and alle litle hillis; trees berynge fruyt, and alle cedris.
Montagnes et toutes les collines; arbres à fruit et tous les cèdres;
10 Wielde beestis, and alle tame beestis; serpentis, and fetherid briddis.
Bêtes sauvages et tout le bétail; reptiles et oiseaux ailés;
11 The kingis of erthe, and alle puplis; the princis, and alle iugis of erthe.
Rois de la terre, et tous les peuples; princes, et tous les juges de la terre;
12 Yonge men, and virgyns, elde men with yongere, herie ye the name of the Lord;
Jeunes hommes et vous aussi, vierges; vieillards avec les enfants!
13 for the name of hym aloone is enhaunsid.
Qu'ils louent le nom de l'Éternel, car son nom seul est élevé; sa majesté est au-dessus de la terre et des cieux!
14 His knouleching be on heuene and erthe; and he hath enhaunsid the horn of his puple. An ympne be to alle hise seyntis; to the children of Israel, to a puple neiyynge to hym.
Il a élevé la force de son peuple, sujet de louange pour tous ses fidèles, pour les enfants d'Israël, peuple qui est près de lui. Louez l'Éternel!
