Psalms 140
1 To victorie, the salm of Dauith. Lord, delyuere thou me fro an yuel man; delyuere thou me fro a wickid man.
Kwa mwimbishaji. Zaburi ya Daudi. Ee Bwana, niokoe, kutoka kwa watu waovu; nilinde na watu wenye jeuri,
2 Whiche thouyten wickidnesses in the herte; al dai thei ordeyneden batels.
ambao hupanga mipango mibaya mioyoni mwao, na kuchochea vita siku zote.
3 Thei scharpiden her tungis as serpentis; the venym of snakis vndir the lippis of hem.
Wao hufanya ndimi zao kali kama za nyoka, sumu ya nyoka iko midomoni mwao.
4 Lord, kepe thou me fro the hond of the synnere; and delyuere thou me fro wickid men. Which thouyten to disseyue my goyngis;
Ee Bwana, niepushe na mikono ya waovu; nilinde na watu wenye jeuri wanaopanga kunikwaza miguu yangu.
5 proude men hidden a snare to me. And thei leiden forth cordis in to a snare; thei settiden sclaundir to me bisidis the weie.
Wenye kiburi wameficha mtego wa kuninasa, wametandaza kamba za wavu wao, wametega mitego kwenye njia yangu.
6 I seide to the Lord, Thou art mi God; Lord, here thou the vois of my biseching.
Ee Bwana, ninakuambia, “Wewe ni Mungu wangu.” Ee Bwana, usikie kilio changu na kunihurumia.
7 Lord, Lord, the vertu of myn heelthe; thou madist schadowe on myn heed in the dai of batel.
Ee Bwana Mwenyezi, Mwokozi wangu mwenye nguvu, unikingaye kichwa changu siku ya vita:
8 Lord, bitake thou not me fro my desire to the synnere; thei thouyten ayens me, forsake thou not me, lest perauenture thei ben enhaunsid.
Ee Bwana, usiwape waovu matakwa yao, usiache mipango yao ikafanikiwa, wasije wakajisifu.
9 The heed of the cumpas of hem; the trauel of her lippis schal hile hem.
Vichwa vya wanaonizunguka vifunikwe na shida zinazosababishwa na midomo yao.
10 Colis schulen falle on hem, thou schalt caste hem doun in to fier; in wretchidnessis thei schulen not stonde.
Makaa ya mawe ya moto na yawaangukie! Na watupwe motoni, katika mashimo ya matope, wasiinuke tena kamwe.
11 A man a greet ianglere schal not be dressid in erthe; yuels schulen take an vniust man in perisching.
Wasingiziaji wasifanikiwe katika nchi; maafa na yawawinde watu wenye jeuri.
12 I haue knowe, that the Lord schal make dom of a nedi man; and the veniaunce of pore men.
Najua kwamba Bwana huwapatia maskini haki, na kuitegemeza njia ya mhitaji.
13 Netheles iust men schulen knouleche to thi name; and riytful men schulen dwelle with thi cheer.
Hakika wenye haki watalisifu jina lako, na waadilifu wataishi mbele zako.
