< Romans 14 >
1 Receive him that is weak in the faith, but not to disputes about doubtful matters:
Tangnah aka vawtthoek te doe uh lamtah poeknah neh boelhkhoehnah te khueh boeh.
2 for one believeth that he may eat any food; another, who is weak, liveth upon herbs.
Pakhat long ngawn tah boeih caak ham a tangnah. Tedae tattloel long tah toian a caak.
3 Let not him, that eateth, despise him that eateth not; and let not him, that eateth not, censure him that eateth: for God hath received him.
Aka ca loh aka ca pawt te hnaelcoe boeh. Aka ca pawt long khaw aka ca te kamkaih boeh. Anih te khaw Pathen loh a doe coeng.
4 Who art thou that judgest the servant of another? To his own master he standeth or falleth: yea, he shall be established; for God is able to establish him.
Anih te a boei hut la pai tih yalh ta. Tedae Boeipa loh anih te a thoh thai dongah pai ngawn ni ta.
5 One preferreth some days to others; another esteemeth every day alike. Let every one be fully satisfied in his own mind.
Te dongah pakhat loh khohnin pakhat lakah khohnin pakhat te a poek. Tedae pakhat loh khohnin boeih he tanglue la a poek. Pakhat rhip loh amah lungbuei ah tangnah saeh.
6 He that regardeth a day regardeth it to the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, in deference to the Lord he doth not regard it. So he, that eateth all sorts of food, eateth to the Lord; for he giveth God thanks for it; and he that eateth not of some kinds of food, in deference to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks for the rest.
Khohnin aka yaeh loh Boeipa ham a yaeh tih aka ca loh boeipa ham a caak dongah Pathen te a uem. Aka ca pawt long khaw Boeipa ham a caak pawt dongah Pathen te a uem.
7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no one dieth to himself:
Te dongah amah ham aka hing he mamih ah om pawt tih amah ham aka duek khaw om pawh.
8 but if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
N'hing uh atah Boeipa ham n'hing uh tih n'duek uh atah Boeipa ham n'duek uh.
9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and lives again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.
Te ham te Khrih duek tih hing coeng. Te daengah ni aka duek neh aka hing kah boei la bok a om eh.
10 But why dost thou censure thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? since we shall all stand before the tribunal of Christ;
Mamih boeih tah Pathen kah ngolkhoel ah m'pai uh ni.
11 for it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
A daek vanbangla Boeipa loh, “Kai tah ka hing. Te dongah Hlang boeih loh kai taengah khuklu cungkueng saeh lamtah olka boeih loh Pathen ming te phong saeh,” a ti.
12 So that every one of us shall give an account of himself to God.
Te dongah mamih khat rhip loh amah amah kah lannah te Pathen taengah a paek tangloeng ni.
13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, not to lay a stumbling-block or scandal before a brother.
Te dongah khat neh khat soah laitloek uh thae boel sih. Tedae manuca taengah caehkoek neh thangkui khueh pawt ham he mah laitloek uh.
14 I know and have been taught by the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of itself: only to him that thinketh any thing unclean, to him it is unclean.
Amah ah aka tanghnong he om pawh tila Boeipa Jesuh ah ka ngaitang tih ka ming dae khat khat loh mebang khaw tanghnong a ti atah anih ham tanghnong la om ni.
15 But if thy brother be grieved by thy food, thou dost not herein walk in love. Do not by thy food destroy him, for whom Christ died.
16 Let not your liberty then be evil-spoken of: for the kingdom of God consists not in meat and drink;
Te dongah nangmih ham aka then tah soehsal boeh.
17 but in righteousness and peace, and joy in the holy Ghost: for he,
Pathen kah ram tah caak neh ook dongah pawt tih duengnah, rhoepnah, Mueihla Cim ah omngaihnah dongah ni a om.
18 that in these serveth Christ, is acceptable to God, and approved by men.
Te dongah he nen he Khrih kah sal aka bi tah Pathen ham kolonah neh hlang ham ueppang koi la om.
19 Let us then pursue peace, and mutual edification.
Te dongah rhoepnah koi neh khat neh khat ham hlinsainah koi te hnuktlak uh tangloeng sih.
20 Do not for the sake of meat destroy thy brother who is the work of God: all things indeed are pure; but to the man that eateth with offence it is evil.
Caak ham dawk neh Pathen kah bibi te phae boeh. A cungkuem he caih ngawn dae caak rhangneh hlang ham caehkoek la a om te thae.
21 It is good not to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor to do any thing at which thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or weakened.
Maeh caak pawt khaw, misurtui a ok ham pawt rhangneh na manuca loh a tongtah pawt te then.
22 Thou who hast faith, have it to thyself before God: and happy is he that condemneth not himself in what he alloweth himself to do.
Amah loh a soepsoei tangtae te lai aka tloek thil pawt tah a yoethen.
23 But he that hath any scruple, is condemned if he eat; because he doth it not with faith: and whatsoever is not of faith, is sin.
Tedae a boelhkhoeh tih a caak atah tangnah lamkah pawt dongah boe coeng. Te dongah tangnah lamkah pawt boeih te tah tholhnah ni.
