< Proverbs 27 >

1 Don’t boast about tomorrow; for you don’t know what a day may bring.
Kada ka yi fariya a kan gobe gama ba san abin da ranar za tă kawo ba.
2 Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.
Ka bar wani ya yabe ka, ba kai kanka ba; wani dabam, ba leɓunanka ba.
3 A stone is heavy, and sand is a burden; but a fool’s provocation is heavier than both.
Dutse yana da nauyi yashi kuma wahala ce, amma tsokanar wawa ta fi su duka nauyi.
4 Wrath is cruel, and anger is overwhelming; but who is able to stand before jealousy?
Fushi mugun abu ne mai hallakarwa, amma wa zai iya tsaya a gaban kishi?
5 Better is open rebuke than hidden love.
Gara tsawatawar da ake yi a fili da ƙaunar da ake yi a ɓoye.
6 The wounds of a friend are faithful, although the kisses of an enemy are profuse.
Za a iya amince da rauni daga aboki, amma abokin gāba ko da ya sumbace ka kada ka sake da shi!
7 A full soul loathes a honeycomb; but to a hungry soul, every bitter thing is sweet.
Duk wanda ya ƙoshi da zuma, ba ya marmarinsa kuma amma wanda yake yunwa ko abin da yake da ɗaci ma zai ji shi da zaƙi.
8 As a bird that wanders from her nest, so is a man who wanders from his home.
Kamar tsuntsun da ya ɓace daga sheƙarsa haka yake da mutumin da ya bar gidansa.
9 Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart; so does earnest counsel from a man’s friend.
Man shafawa mai ƙanshi da kuma turare kan faranta zuciya, gaisuwar amini kuma takan fito daga shawarar kirki.
10 Don’t forsake your friend and your father’s friend. Don’t go to your brother’s house in the day of your disaster. A neighbor who is near is better than a distant brother.
Kada ka manta da abokinka da kuma abokin mahaifinka, kuma kada ka tafi gidan ɗan’uwanka sa’ad da masifa ta same ka, gara ka je wurin maƙwabci na kusa da ka je wurin ɗan’uwan da yake da nisa.
11 Be wise, my son, and bring joy to my heart, then I can answer my tormentor.
Ka zama mai hikima, ɗana, ka kuma faranta mini zuciya; zan iya amsa kowace irin suƙar da wani zai yi mini.
12 A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it.
Mai basira kan hango hatsari ya kuma kauce, marar azanci zai yi ta kutsa kai ciki, daga baya ya yi da na sani.
13 Take his garment when he puts up collateral for a stranger. Hold it for a wayward woman!
A karɓe rigunan wanda ya ɗauki lamunin baƙo; a riƙe shi jingina in ya yi shi don mace marar aminci.
14 He who blesses his neighbor with a loud voice early in the morning, it will be taken as a curse by him.
In mutum ya albarkaci maƙwabcinsa da murya mai ƙarfi da sassafe, za a ɗauka shi a matsayin la’ana.
15 A continual dropping on a rainy day and a contentious wife are alike:
Mace mai fitina kamar ɗiɗɗigar ruwa take ba ƙaƙƙautawa;
16 restraining her is like restraining the wind, or like grasping oil in his right hand.
hana ta yana kamar yin ƙoƙari tsai da iska ne ko yin ƙoƙarin cafke mai a tafin hannunka.
17 Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance.
Kamar yadda ƙarfe kan wasa ƙarfe haka mutum kan koyi daga mutum.
18 Whoever tends the fig tree shall eat its fruit. He who looks after his master shall be honored.
Duk wanda ya lura da itacen ɓaure, zai ci’ya’yansa, kuma duk wanda ya lura da maigidansa za a girmama shi.
19 Like water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man.
Kamar yadda ruwa kan nuna yadda fuska take, haka zuciyar mutum kan nuna irin mutumin.
20 Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied; and a man’s eyes are never satisfied. (Sheol h7585)
Mutuwa da Hallaka ba sa ƙoshi, haka idanun mutum ba sa ƙoshi da gani. (Sheol h7585)
21 The crucible is for silver, and the furnace for gold; but man is refined by his praise.
Ana gwajin azurfa da kuma zinariya da wuta, amma akan gwada mutum ta wurin yabon da ya samu.
22 Though you grind a fool in a mortar with a pestle along with grain, yet his foolishness will not be removed from him.
Ko da ka daka wawa a turmi, kana daka shi kamar hatsi da taɓarya, ba za ka fid da wauta daga gare shi ba.
23 Know well the state of your flocks, and pay attention to your herds,
Ka tabbata ka san lafiyar garken tumakinka, ka mai da hankali ga garken shanunka;
24 for riches are not forever, nor does the crown endure to all generations.
domin dukiya ba ta dawwama har abada, ba a kuma kasance da rawani daga tsara zuwa tsara.
25 The hay is removed, and the new growth appears, the grasses of the hills are gathered in.
Sa’ad da aka yanki ingirci sabon toho kuma ya bayyana aka kuma tattara ciyawa daga tuddai,
26 The lambs are for your clothing, and the goats are the price of a field.
gashin raguna za su tanada maka tufafi, za ka iya sayi gonaki masu kyau da kuɗin awaki.
27 There will be plenty of goats’ milk for your food, for your family’s food, and for the nourishment of your servant girls.
Za ka kasance da madarar awaki mai yawa don ka ciyar da kanka da kuma iyalinka ka kuma inganta bayinka mata.
