< Psalms 82 >

1 A Psalm by Asaph. God presides in the great assembly. He judges amongst the gods.
[Psalm lal Asaph] God El muta fin tron lal ye mutun mwet kulansap mutal lal inkusrao; Ke tukeni lalos El akkalemye wotela lal ouinge:
2 “How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” (Selah)
“Nik kowos sifil oru nununku sesuwos; Ac kowos in tia sifil insese yurin mwet koluk!
3 “Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.
Oru nununku suwohs nu sin mwet sukasrup ac mwet mukaimtal, Ac oru suwohs nu sin mwet enenu ac mwet munas.
4 Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.”

5 They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
“Yohk lupan nikin ac lohsr lowos! Kowos arulana koluk, Ac nununku suwohs wanginla fin faclu.
6 I said, “You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.
Na nga fahk, ‘Kowos god uh, Kowos nukewa wen nutin El Su Fulatlana.’
7 Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers.”
Tusruktu, kowos ac misa oana mwet uh, Ac moul lowos ac safla oana sie fisrak.”
8 Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.
Fahsru, O God, ac nununku faclu, Tuh mutunfacl nukewa ma lom.
