Mark 7
1 Then the Pharisees, with certain Scribes who had come from Jerusalem, came to Him in a body.
௧எருசலேமில் இருந்து வந்த பரிசேயர்களும், வேதபண்டிதர்களில் சிலரும் அவரிடம் கூடிவந்தார்கள்.
2 They had noticed that some of His disciples were eating their food with 'unclean' (that is to say, unwashed) hands.
௨அப்பொழுது அவருடைய சீடர்களில் சிலர் கைகளைக் கழுவாமல் சாப்பிடுகிறதை அவர்கள் பார்த்து குற்றஞ்சாட்டினார்கள்.
3 (For the Pharisees and all the Jews--being, as they are, zealous for the traditions of the Elders--never eat without first carefully washing their hands,
௩ஏனென்றால், யூதர்கள் அனைவரும் முக்கியமாக பரிசேயர்கள் முன்னோர்களின் பாரம்பரியத்தைக் கடைபிடித்து, அடிக்கடி கைகளைக் கழுவினாலொழிய சாப்பிடமாட்டார்கள்;
4 and when they come from market they will not eat without bathing first; and they have a good many other customs which they have received traditionally and cling to, such as the rinsing of cups and pots and of bronze utensils, and the washing of beds.)
௪கடைவீதிகளுக்குச் சென்று திரும்பி வரும்போதும் குளிக்காமல் சாப்பிடமாட்டார்கள். அப்படியே செம்புகளையும், கிண்ணங்களையும், செப்புக்குடங்களையும், இருக்கைகளையும் கழுவுகிறதோடு மட்டுமல்லாமல், வேறு அநேக சடங்குகளையும் கடைபிடித்துவருவார்கள்.
5 So the Pharisees and Scribes put the question to Him: "Why do your disciples transgress the traditions of the Elders, and eat their food with unclean hands?"
௫அப்பொழுது, அந்தப் பரிசேயர்களும் வேதபண்டிதர்களும் அவரைப் பார்த்து: உம்முடைய சீடர்கள் முன்னோர்களின் பாரம்பரியத்தை மீறி, ஏன் கைகளைக் கழுவாமல் சாப்பிடுகிறார்கள் என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
6 "Rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites," He replied; "as it is written, "'This People honour Me with their lips, while their hearts are far away from Me:
௬அவர்களுக்கு அவர் மறுமொழியாக: இந்த மக்கள் தங்களுடைய உதடுகளினால் என்னை கனம்பண்ணுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் இருதயமோ எனக்குத் தூரமாக விலகியிருக்கிறது என்றும்,
7 But idle is their devotion while they lay down precepts which are mere human rules.'
௭மனிதர்களுடைய கட்டளைகளைப் போதனைகளாகப் போதித்து, வீணாக எனக்கு ஆராதனை செய்கிறார்கள் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறபடி, மாயக்காரர்களாகிய உங்களைக்குறித்து, ஏசாயா நன்றாகத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லியிருக்கிறான்.
8 "You neglect God's Commandment: you hold fast to men's traditions."
௮நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய கட்டளைகளை ஒதுக்கிவிட்டு, மனிதர்களுடைய பாரம்பரியத்தைக் கடைபிடித்துவருகிறவர்களாக, கிண்ணங்களையும் செம்புகளையும் கழுவுகிறீர்கள்; மற்றும் இப்படிப்பட்ட அநேக சடங்குகளையும் கடைபிடித்துவருகிறீர்கள்” என்றார்.
9 "Praiseworthy indeed!" He added, "to set at nought God's Commandment in order to observe your own traditions!
௯பின்னும் அவர் அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய பாரம்பரியத்தைக் கடைபிடிப்பதற்காக தேவனுடைய கட்டளைகளை நிராகரித்தது நன்றாக இருக்கிறது.
10 For Moses said, 'Honour thy father and thy mother' and again, 'He who curses father or mother, let him die the death.'
௧0எப்படியென்றால், உன் தகப்பனையும் உன் தாயையும் கனம்பண்ணுவாயாக என்றும், தகப்பனையாவது தாயையாவது அவமதிக்கிறவன் கொல்லப்படவேண்டும் என்றும், மோசே சொல்லியிருக்கிறாரே.
11 But you say, 'If a man says to his father or mother, It is a Korban (that is, a thing devoted to God), whatever it is, which otherwise you would have received from me--'
௧௧நீங்களோ, ஒருவன் தன் தகப்பனையாவது தாயையாவது பார்த்து: உனக்கு நான் செய்யவேண்டிய உதவி எதுவோ, அதைக் கொர்பான் என்னும் காணிக்கையாக தேவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறேன் என்று சொல்லிவிட்டால் அவனுடைய கடமை முடிந்தது என்று சொல்லி,
12 And so you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or mother,
௧௨அவனை இனி தன் தகப்பனுக்கோ தன் தாய்க்கோ எந்தவொரு உதவியும் செய்யவிடாமல்;
13 thus nullifying God's precept by your tradition which you have handed down. And many things of that kind you do."
௧௩நீங்கள் போதித்த உங்களுடைய பாரம்பரியத்தினால் தேவவசனத்தை அவமதிக்கிறீர்கள். இதுபோலவே நீங்கள் மற்ற அநேக காரியங்களையும் செய்கிறீர்கள் என்று சொன்னார்.
14 Then Jesus called the people to Him again. "Listen to me, all of you," He said, "and understand.
௧௪பின்பு அவர் மக்கள் எல்லோரையும் வரவழைத்து அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் நான் சொல்வதைக்கேட்டுப் புரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.
15 There is nothing outside a man which entering him can make him unclean; but it is the things which come out of a man that make him unclean."
௧௫மனிதனுக்கு வெளியிலிருந்து அவனுக்குள்ளே போகிறது அவனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தாது; அவன் மனதிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிறவைகளே அவனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும்.
௧௬கேட்கிறதற்கு ஒருவன் காதுள்ளவனாக இருந்தால் அவன் கேட்கட்டும் என்றார்.
17 After He had left the crowd and gone indoors, His disciples began to ask Him about this figure of speech.
௧௭அவர் மக்களைவிட்டு வீட்டிற்குள் சென்றபோது, அவருடைய சீடர்கள் அவர் சொன்ன உவமையைக்குறித்து அவரிடத்தில் விசாரித்தார்கள்.
18 "Have you also so little understanding?" He replied; "do you not understand that anything whatever that enters a man from outside cannot make him unclean,
௧௮அதற்கு அவர்: நீங்களும் இவ்வளவு புரிந்துகொள்ளாதவர்களா? வெளியிலிருந்து மனிதனுக்குள்ளே போகிற எதுவும் அவனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தாது என்று நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்ளவில்லையா?
19 because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and passes away ejected from him?" By these words Jesus pronounced all kinds of food clean.
௧௯அது அவன் இருதயத்திற்குள் போகாமல் வயிற்றுக்குள்ளே போகிறது; அதிலிருந்து எல்லா அசுத்தங்களும் ஆசனவழியாக வெளியேபோகும்.
20 "What comes out of a man," He added, "that it is which makes him unclean.
௨0மனிதனுக்குள்ளேயிருந்து புறப்படுகிறதே மனிதனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும்.
21 For from within, out of men's hearts, their evil purposes proceed--fornication, theft, murder, adultery,
௨௧எப்படியென்றால், மனிதனுடைய இருதயத்திற்குள்ளிருந்து பொல்லாத சிந்தனைகளும், விபசாரங்களும், வேசித்தனங்களும், கொலைபாதகங்களும்,
22 covetousness, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, reviling, pride, reckless folly:
௨௨திருட்டும், பொருளாசைகளும், துஷ்டகுணங்களும், கபடும், காமமும், வன்கண்ணும், அவதூறும், பெருமையும், மதிகேடும் புறப்பட்டுவரும்.
23 all these wicked things come out from within and make a man unclean."
௨௩பொல்லாதவைகளாகிய இவைகள் எல்லாம் மனதிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு மனிதனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும் என்றார்.
24 Then He rose and left that place and went into the neighbourhood of Tyre and Sidon. Here He entered a house and wished no one to know it, but He could not escape observation.
௨௪பின்பு, அவர் எழுந்து அந்த இடத்தைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, தீரு சீதோன் பட்டணங்களின் எல்லைகளில்போய், ஒரு வீட்டிற்குள் சென்று, அவர் அங்கே இருப்பது ஒருவருக்கும் தெரியக்கூடாது என்று விரும்பியும், அவர் மறைவாக இருக்கமுடியாமல்போனது.
25 Forthwith a woman whose little daughter was possessed by a foul spirit heard of Him, and came and flung herself at His feet.
௨௫அசுத்தஆவி பிடித்திருந்த ஒரு சிறுபெண்ணின் தாய், இயேசுவைப்பற்றிக் கேள்விப்பட்டு, வந்து அவர் பாதத்தில் விழுந்தாள்.
26 She was a Gentile woman, a Syro-phoenician by nation: and again and again she begged Him to expel the demon from her daughter.
௨௬அந்தப் பெண் சீரோபேனிக்கியா தேசத்தைச் சேர்ந்த கிரேக்கப் பெண்ணாக இருந்தாள்; அவள் தன் மகளைப் பிடித்திருந்த பிசாசைத் துரத்திவிடவேண்டும் என்று அவரை வேண்டிக்கொண்டாள்.
27 "Let the children first eat all they want," He said; "it is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs."
௨௭இயேசு அவளைப் பார்த்து: முதலில் பிள்ளைகள் திருப்தியாகட்டும்; பிள்ளைகளின் அப்பத்தை எடுத்து நாய்க்குட்டிகளுக்குப் போடுகிறது நல்லது இல்லை என்றார்.
28 "True, Sir," she replied, "and yet the dogs under the table eat the children's scraps."
௨௮அதற்கு அவள்: உண்மைதான் ஆண்டவரே, ஆனாலும், மேஜையின்கீழே இருக்கும் நாய்க்குட்டிகள் பிள்ளைகள் சிந்துகிற துணிக்கைகளைத் தின்னுமே என்றாள்.
29 "For those words of yours, go home," He replied; "the demon has gone out of your daughter."
௨௯அப்பொழுது, அவர்: நீ சொன்ன அந்த வார்த்தையினிமித்தம் போகலாம், பிசாசு உன் மகளைவிட்டுப் போனது என்றார்.
30 So she went home, and found the child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.
௩0அவள் தன் வீட்டிற்கு வந்தபொழுது, பிசாசு போய்விட்டதையும், தன் மகள் கட்டிலில் படுத்திருக்கிறதையும் கண்டாள்.
31 Returning from the neighbourhood of Tyre, He came by way of Sidon to the Lake of Galilee, passing through the district of the Ten Towns.
௩௧மறுபடியும், அவர் தீரு சீதோன் பட்டணங்களின் எல்லைகளைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, தெக்கப்போலியின் எல்லைகளின்வழியாகக் கலிலேயாக்கடலின் அருகே வந்தார்.
32 Here they brought to Him a deaf man that stammered, on whom they begged Him to lay His hands.
௩௨அங்கே திக்குவாயுடைய ஒரு காதுகேளாதவனை அவரிடம் கொண்டுவந்து, அவர் தமது கையை அவன்மேல் வைக்கவேண்டும் என்று வேண்டிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
33 So Jesus taking him aside, apart from the crowd, put His fingers into his ears, and spat, and moistened his tongue;
௩௩அப்பொழுது, அவர் அவனை மக்கள் கூட்டத்தைவிட்டுத் தனியே அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், தம்முடைய விரல்களை அவன் காதுகளில் வைத்து, உமிழ்ந்து, அவனுடைய நாக்கைத் தொட்டு;
34 and looking up to Heaven He sighed, and said to him, "Ephphatha!" (that is, "Open!")
௩௪வானத்தை அண்ணாந்துபார்த்து, பெருமூச்சுவிட்டு: எப்பத்தா என்றார்; அதற்குத் திறக்கப்படுவாயாக என்று அர்த்தம்.
35 And the man's ears were opened, and his tongue became untied, and he began to speak perfectly.
௩௫உடனே அவனுடைய காதுகள் திறக்கப்பட்டு, அவனுடைய நாக்கின் கட்டும் அவிழ்ந்து, அவன் தெளிவாகப் பேசினான்.
36 Then Jesus charged them to tell no one; but the more He charged them, all the more did they spread the news far and wide.
௩௬அதை யாருக்கும் சொல்லவேண்டாம் என்று அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார்; ஆனாலும் எவ்வளவு அதிகமாக அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டாரோ, அவ்வளவு அதிகமாக அவர்கள் அதைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்தி,
37 The amazement was extreme. "He succeeds in everything he attempts," they exclaimed; "he even makes deaf men hear and dumb men speak!"
௩௭எல்லாவற்றையும் நன்றாகச் செய்தார்; காதுகேட்காதவர்களைக் கேட்கவும், ஊமையர்களைப் பேசவும்பண்ணுகிறார் என்று சொல்லி, மேலும் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டார்கள்.
