< John 10 >
1 "In most solemn truth I tell you that the man who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs over some other way, is a thief and a robber.
“Mereka nokware akyerɛ mo Farisifo no se, onipa biara a ɔmfa nguankuw kwan ano na ɔfa ɔkwan foforo so foro kɔ mu no yɛ owifo.
2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
Onipa a ɔfa ɔkwan ano kɔ mu no ne oguanhwɛfo no.
3 To him the porter opens the door, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by their names and leads them out.
Ɔpon no anohwɛfo no bue ɔpon no ma no, na sɛ ɔfrɛ nguan no nso a wɔte ne nne ma ɔde wɔn fi adi.
4 When he has brought out his own sheep--all of them--he walks at the head of them; and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice.
Sɛ ɔde wɔn fi adi a, odi nguan no anim na nguan no nso di nʼakyi, efisɛ wɔte ne nne.
5 But a stranger they will by no means follow, but will run away from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers."
Wɔrenni onipa foforo biara akyi. Na sɛ ɔfrɛ wɔn a wɔremma, efisɛ wɔnte ne nne.”
6 Jesus spoke to them in this figurative language, but they did not understand what He meant.
Yesu buu wɔn saa bɛ yi nanso nnipa no ante no ase.
7 Again therefore Jesus said to them, "In most solemn truth I tell you that I am the Door of the sheep.
Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn bio se, “Mereka nokware akyerɛ mo se mene nguannan no ano pon no.
8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep would not listen to them.
Wɔn a wodii mʼanim kan no yɛ awifo ne adwowtwafo; ɛno nti nguan no ante wɔn nne anni wɔn akyi.
9 I am the Door. If any one enters by me, he will find safety, and will go in and out and find pasture.
Mene ɔpon no. Obiara a ɔnam me so bewura mu no benya nkwa; wobewura mu asan afi adi na wobenya adidibea.
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy: I have come that they may have Life, and may have it in abundance.
Owifo ba a, obewia anaasɛ obedi awu anaasɛ ɔbɛsɛe ade. Me de, maba sɛ ɛbɛyɛ a mubenya nkwa a edi mu.
11 "I am the Good Shepherd. A good shepherd lays down his very life for the sheep.
“Mene oguanhwɛfo pa no. Oguanhwɛfo pa no ne obi a otumi de ne nkwa to hɔ ma ne nguan.
12 The hired servant--one who is not a shepherd and does not own the sheep--no sooner sees the wolf coming than he leaves the sheep and runs away; and the wolf worries and scatters them.
Obi a wɔabɔ no paa sɛ ɔnhwɛ nguan so no nyɛ nguan no wura; ɛno nti, sɛ ohu sɛ pataku reba a oguan gyaw nguan no hɔ, na pataku no tow hyɛ nguan no so ma wɔbɔ ahwete.
13 For he is only a hired servant and cares nothing for the sheep.
Ɔpaani no guan, efisɛ wɔabɔ no paa na nguan no yiyedi mfa ne ho.
14 "I am the Good Shepherd. And I know my sheep and my sheep know me,
“Mene oguanhwɛfo pa no. Minim me nguan na me nguan nso nim me,
15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I am laying down my life for the sheep.
sɛnea Agya no nim me na me nso minim Agya no. Masiesie me ho nso sɛ mewu ama nguan no.
16 I have also other sheep--which do not belong to this fold. Those also I must bring, and they will listen to my voice; and they shall become one flock under one Shepherd.
Nguan afoforo bi wɔ hɔ a wɔyɛ me de nanso wonnya mmɛkaa saa nguankuw yi ho ɛ. Ɛsɛ sɛ mede wɔn nso bɛka saa nguankuw yi ho. Wobetie me nne na wɔbɛyɛ nguankuw baako a oguanhwɛfo baako pɛ na ɔhwɛ wɔn so.
17 For this reason my Father loves me, because I am laying down my life in order to receive it back again.
Agya no dɔ me efisɛ masiesie me ho sɛ mede me nkwa bɛto hɔ sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a daakye me nsa bɛka bio.
18 No one is taking it away from me, but I myself am laying it down. I am authorized to lay it down, and I am authorized to receive it back again. This is the command I received from my Father."
Obiara rentumi nnye me nkwa mfi me nsam. Me ara me pɛ mu na mede bɛma. Mewɔ tumi sɛ mede ma na mewɔ tumi nso sɛ mesan gye bio. Eyi ne nea mʼAgya ahyɛ me sɛ menyɛ no.”
19 Again there arose a division among the Jews because of these words.
Asɛm a Yesu kae no nti, ɛmaa mpaapaemu baa Yudafo no mu.
20 Many of them said, "He is possessed by a demon and is mad. Why do you listen to him?"
Wɔn mu pii kae se, “Ɔwɔ honhommɔne! Nʼadwene mu ka no! Adɛn nti na mutie no?”
21 Others argued, "That is not the language of a demoniac: and can a demon open blind men's eyes?"
Afoforo nso kae se, “Onipa a ɔwɔ honhommɔne rentumi nkasa sɛɛ! Ɛbɛyɛ dɛn na obi a ɔwɔ honhommɔne betumi ama onifuraefo ahu ade?”
22 The Dedication Festival came on in Jerusalem. It was winter,

23 and Jesus was walking in the Temple in Solomon's Portico,
Yesu kɔpasee wɔ asɔredan no mu baabi a wɔfrɛ hɔ se Salomo Abrannaa so.
24 when the Jews gathered round Him and kept asking Him, "How long do you mean to keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us so plainly."
Yudafo no betwaa ne ho hyia kae se, “Wobɛma yɛatwɛn akosi da bɛn? Sɛ wone Kristo no a, pae mu ka kyerɛ yɛn.”
25 "I have told you," answered Jesus, "and you do not believe. The deeds that I do in my Father's name--they give testimony about me.
Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Maka akyerɛ mo dedaw nanso munnnye me nni. Me nnwuma a menam mʼAgya tumi so yɛ no di me ho adanse,
26 But you do not believe, because you are not my sheep.
nanso munnnye nni, efisɛ monyɛ me nguan.
27 My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
Me nguan te me nne, me nso minim wɔn na wodi mʼakyi.
28 I give them the Life of the Ages, and they shall never, never perish, nor shall any one wrest them from my hand. (aiōn , aiōnios )
Mema wɔn nkwa a enni awiei a wɔrenwu da, na obi rentumi nhuam wɔn mfi me nsam. (aiōn , aiōnios )
29 What my Father has given me is more precious than all besides; and no one is able to wrest anything from my Father's hand.
MʼAgya a ɔde wɔn maa me no wɔ tumi sen obiara, na obiara rentumi nhuam wɔn mfi me nsam.
30 I and the Father are one."
Me ne Agya no yɛ baako.”
31 Again the Jews brought stones with which to stone Him.
Yudafo no san tasee abo sɛ anka wɔde rebesiw no.
32 Jesus remonstrated with them. "Many good deeds," He said, "have I shown you as coming from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?"
Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Mayɛ nnwuma pa pii a Agya no de hyɛɛ me nsa sɛ menyɛ no ama moahu, na emu nea ɛwɔ he ho nti na mopɛ sɛ musiw me abo yi?”
33 "For no good deed," the Jews replied, "are we going to stone you, but for blasphemy, and because you, who are only a man, are making yourself out to be God."
Yudafo no buaa no se, “Ɛnyɛ wo nnwuma pa bi a woayɛ no nti na yɛpɛ sɛ yesiw wo abo, na mmom wʼabususɛm a wokae no nti. Woyɛ onipa desani nso woyɛ wo ho sɛ Onyankopɔn!”
34 "Does it not stand written in your Law," replied Jesus, "'I said, you are gods'?
Yesu buaa wɔn se, “Wɔakyerɛw wɔ mo ara ankasa mo mmara mu se, Onyankopɔn kae se, ‘Moyɛ anyame.’
35 If those to whom God's word was addressed are called gods (and the Scripture cannot be annulled),
Ɛno nti sɛ Onyankopɔn nam anyamesɛm a ɛyɛ nokware so frɛ wɔn a Onyankopɔn asɛm baa wɔn nkyɛn no se ‘anyame’ a,
36 how is it that you say to one whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am God's Son'?
adɛn na sɛ nea Agya no somaa no baa wiase no ka se, ‘mene Onyankopɔn Ba no’ a muse waka abususɛm?
37 If the deeds I do are not my Father's deeds, do not believe me.
Sɛ menyɛ nnwuma a mʼAgya pɛ sɛ meyɛ no de a ɛno de, munnnye me nni.
38 But if they are, then even if you do not believe me, at least believe the deeds, that you may know and see clearly that the Father is in me, and that I am in the Father."
Nanso sɛ meyɛ mʼAgya no nnwuma na sɛ munnnye me nni mpo a munnye nnwuma no nni sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a mubegye adi sɛ Agya no wɔ me mu na me nso mewɔ ne mu.”
39 This made them once more try to arrest Him, but He withdrew out of their power.
Nkurɔfo no pɛɛ sɛ wɔkyere no bio, nanso wɔantumi.
40 Then He went away again to the other side of the Jordan, to the place where John had been baptizing at first; and there He stayed.
Yesu san twa kɔɔ Yordan agya wɔ faako a Yohane bɔ asu no kɔtenaa hɔ.
41 Large numbers of people also came to Him. Their report was, "John did not work any miracle, but all that John said about this Teacher was true."
Nnipa bebree kɔɔ ne nkyɛn. Wɔn mu dodow no ara kae se, “Yohane anyɛ anwonwade, nanso biribiara a ɔka faa saa ɔbarima yi ho no yɛ nokware.”
42 And many became believers in Him there.
Nnipa a wɔwɔ hɔ no mu bebree gyee no dii.
