Psalms 148
1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the hights.
Louvai ao Senhor. louvai ao Senhor desde os céus, louvai-o nas alturas.
2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
Louvai-o, todos os seus anjos; louvai-o todos os seus exércitos.
3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
Louvai-o, sol e lua; louvai-o, todas as estrelas luzentes.
4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that [are] above the heavens.
Louvai-o, céus dos céus, e as águas que estão sobre os céus.
5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.
Louvem o nome do Senhor, pois mandou, e logo foram criados.
6 He hath also established them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.
E os confirmou para sempre, e lhes deu uma lei que não ultrapassarão.
7 Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:
Louvai ao Senhor desde a terra: vós, baleias, e todos os abismos,
8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapors; stormy wind fulfilling his word:
Fogo e saraiva, neve e vapores, e vento tempestuoso que executa a sua palavra:
9 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
Montes e todos os outeiros, árvores frutiferas e todos os cedros:
10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping animals, and flying fowl:
As feras e todos os gados, réptis e aves voadoras:
11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
Reis da terra e todos os povos, príncipes e todos os juízes da terra:
12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
Mancebos e donzelas, velhos e crianças,
13 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory [is] above the earth and heaven.
Louvem o nome do Senhor, pois só o seu nome é exaltado: a sua glória está sobre a terra e o céu.
14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; [even] of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise ye the LORD.
Ele também exalta o poder do seu povo, o louvor de todos os seus santos, dos filhos de Israel, um povo que lhe é chegado. louvai ao Senhor.
