Psalms 119
1 ALEPH. Blessed [are] the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
ALEF Binecuvântați sunt cei neîntinați pe cale, care umblă în legea DOMNULUI.
2 Blessed [are] they that keep his testimonies, [and that] seek him with the whole heart.
Binecuvântați sunt cei ce țin mărturiile lui și îl caută cu întreaga inimă.
3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
Ei de asemenea nu fac nelegiuire, ei umblă în căile lui.
4 Thou hast commanded [us] to keep thy precepts diligently.
Tu ne-ai poruncit să ținem stăruitor preceptele tale.
5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
O, de ar fi fost căile mele rânduite să țină statutele tale!
6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect to all thy commandments.
Atunci nu mă voi rușina când voi respecta toate poruncile tale.
7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
Te voi lăuda cu o inimă dreaptă, după ce voi învăța judecățile tale drepte.
8 I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
Voi ține statutele tale, nu mă părăsi de tot.
9 BETH. Wherewith shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed [to it], according to thy word.
BET Cu ce își va curăți un tânăr calea? Ținând seama la ea conform cuvântului tău.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
Cu întreaga mea inimă te-am căutat, nu mă lăsa să rătăcesc de la poruncile tale.
11 Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Cuvântul tău l-am ascuns în inima mea, ca să nu păcătuiesc împotriva ta.
12 Blessed [art] thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
Binecuvântat ești tu, DOAMNE, învață-mă statutele tale.
13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
Cu buzele mele am vestit toate judecățile gurii tale.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as [much as] in all riches.
M-am bucurat în calea mărturiilor tale, cât în toate bogățiile.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect to thy ways.
Voi medita la preceptele tale și voi lua seama la căile tale.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
Mă voi desfăta în statutele tale, nu voi uita cuvântul tău.
17 GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant, [that] I may live, and keep thy word.
GIMEL Fă mult bine servitorului tău, ca să trăiesc și să țin cuvântul tău.
18 Open thou my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
Deschide-mi ochii să văd lucrurile minunate din legea ta.
19 I [am] a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
Eu sunt străin pe pământ, nu ascunde poruncile tale de mine.
20 My soul breaketh for the longing [that it hath] to thy judgments at all times.
Sufletul meu se frânge de dorința pe care o are pentru judecățile tale tot timpul.
21 Thou hast rebuked the proud [that are] cursed, who do err from thy commandments.
Tu ai mustrat pe cei mândri, care sunt blestemați, care rătăcesc de la poruncile tale.
22 Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.
Îndepărtează de mine ocara și disprețul, fiindcă am păzit mărturiile tale.
23 Princes also did sit [and] speak against me: [but] thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
Prinți de asemenea au șezut și au vorbit împotriva mea, dar servitorul tău a meditat la statutele tale.
24 Thy testimonies also [are] my delight, [and] my counselors.
Mărturiile tale de asemenea sunt desfătarea mea și sfătuitorii mei.
25 DALETH. My soul cleaveth to the dust: revive thou me according to thy word.
DALET Sufletul meu se lipește de țărână, dă-mi viață conform cuvântului tău.
26 I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.
Eu am vestit căile mele și tu m-ai ascultat, învață-mă statutele tale.
27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
Fă-mă să înțeleg calea preceptelor tale, astfel voi vorbi despre minunatele tale lucrări.
28 My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according to thy word.
Sufletul meu se topește de întristare, întărește-mă conform cuvântului tău.
29 Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.
Îndepărtează de la mine calea minciunii și dă-mi cu har legea ta.
30 I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid [before me].
Eu am ales calea adevărului, am pus judecățile tale înaintea mea.
31 I have adhered to thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.
M-am lipit de mărturiile tale, DOAMNE, nu mă da de rușine.
32 I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
Voi alerga pe calea poruncilor tale, când îmi vei lărgi inima.
33 HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it [to] the end.
HE Învață-mă, DOAMNE, calea statutelor tale și o voi ține până la sfârșit.
34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yes, I shall observe it with [my] whole heart.
Dă-mi înțelegere și voi ține legea ta; da, o voi păzi cu întreaga mea inimă.
35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for in that do I delight.
Fă-mă să merg pe cărarea poruncilor tale, căci în ea îmi găsesc plăcere.
36 Incline my heart to thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
Apleacă-mi inima la mărturiile tale și nu la poftire.
37 Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity; [and] revive thou me in thy way.
Abate ochii mei de la a privi deșertăciune; și dă-mi viață pe calea ta.
38 Establish thy word to thy servant, who [is devoted] to thy fear.
Întemeiază cuvântul tău servitorului tău, care este devotat temerii de tine.
39 Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments [are] good.
Abate ocara mea de care mă tem, fiindcă judecățile tale sunt bune.
40 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: revive me in thy righteousness.
Iată, am tânjit după preceptele tale, dă-mi viață în dreptatea ta.
41 VAU. Let thy mercies come also to me, O LORD, [even] thy salvation, according to thy word.
VAV Lasă de asemenea îndurările tale și salvarea ta să vină la mine, DOAMNE, conform cuvântului tău.
42 So shall I have with which to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
Astfel voi avea cu ce să răspund celui ce mă ocărăște, căci mă încred în cuvântul tău.
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
Și nu lua cuvântul adevărului cu totul din gura mea, pentru că am sperat în judecățile tale.
44 So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.
Astfel voi ține legea ta continuu pentru totdeauna și întotdeauna.
45 And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
Și voi umbla în libertate, căci eu caut preceptele tale.
46 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
Voi vorbi despre mărturiile tale de asemenea în fața împăraților și nu mă voi rușina.
47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
Și mă voi desfăta în poruncile tale, pe care le-am iubit.
48 My hands also will I lift to thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
Mâinile mele de asemenea le voi înălța spre poruncile tale, pe care le-am iubit; și voi medita la statutele tale.
49 ZAIN. Remember the word to thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
ZAYIN Amintește servitorului tău cuvântul, în care m-ai făcut să sper.
50 This [is] my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath revived me.
Acesta îmi este mângâierea în necazul meu, căci cuvântul tău mi-a dat viață.
51 The proud have had me greatly in derision: [yet] I have not declined from thy law.
Cei mândri m-au luat mult în derâdere, totuși nu m-am abătut de la legea ta.
52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.
Mi-am amintit de judecățile tale din vechime, DOAMNE, și m-am mângâiat.
53 Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
Groaza m-a cuprins din cauza celor stricați care părăsesc legea ta.
54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
Statutele tale au fost cântările mele în casa călătoriei mele.
55 I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.
Noaptea mi-am amintit de numele tău, DOAMNE, și am ținut legea ta.
56 This I had, because I kept thy precepts.
Aceasta am avut, pentru că am ținut preceptele tale.
57 CHETH. [Thou art] my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.
HET Tu ești partea mea, DOAMNE, am spus că voi ține cuvintele tale.
58 I entreated thy favor with [my] whole heart: be merciful to me according to thy word.
Am implorat favoarea ta cu întreaga mea inimă, fii milostiv față de mine conform cuvântului tău.
59 I thought on my ways, and turned my feet to thy testimonies.
M-am gândit la căile mele și mi-am întors picioarele spre mărturiile tale.
60 I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
M-am grăbit și nu am întârziat să țin poruncile tale.
61 The bands of the wicked have robbed me: [but] I have not forgotten thy law.
Cetele celor stricați m-au jefuit, dar eu nu am uitat legea ta.
62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks to thee, because of thy righteous judgments.
La miezul nopții mă voi scula să îți aduc mulțumiri datorită judecăților tale drepte.
63 I [am] a companion of all [them] that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
Sunt tovarăș tuturor celor ce se tem de tine și celor ce țin preceptele tale.
64 The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.
Pământul, DOAMNE, este plin de mila ta, învață-mă statutele tale.
65 TETH. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according to thy word.
TET Tu te-ai purtat bine cu servitorul tău, DOAMNE, conform cuvântului tău.
66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
Învață-mă judecată bună și cunoaștere, căci am crezut poruncile tale.
67 Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
Înainte să fiu chinuit am rătăcit, dar acum am ținut cuvântul tău.
68 Thou [art] good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
Tu ești bun și faci bine; învață-mă statutele tale.
69 The proud have forged a lie against me: [but] I will keep thy precepts with [my] whole heart.
Cei mândri au născocit o minciună împotriva mea, dar voi ține preceptele tale cu întreaga mea inimă.
70 Their heart is as gross as fat; [but] I delight in thy law.
Inima lor este grasă ca unsoarea; dar eu mă desfăt în legea ta.
71 [It is] good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
Este bine pentru mine că am fost chinuit, ca să învăț statutele tale.
72 The law of thy mouth [is] better to me than thousands of gold and silver.
Legea gurii tale este mai bună pentru mine decât mii de bucăți de aur și argint.
73 JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
IOD Mâinile tale m-au făcut și m-au modelat, dă-mi înțelegere, ca să învăț poruncile tale.
74 They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.
Cei ce se tem de tine se vor veseli când mă vor vedea, deoarece am sperat în cuvântul tău.
75 I know, O LORD, that thy judgments [are] right, and [that] thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.
Știu, DOAMNE, că judecățile tale sunt drepte și că tu în credincioșie m-ai chinuit.
76 Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word to thy servant.
Fie, te rog, bunătatea ta milostivă mângâierea mea, conform cuvântului tău față de servitorul tău.
77 Let thy tender mercies come to me, that I may live: for thy law [is] my delight.
Să vină la mine îndurările tale blânde, ca să trăiesc, fiindcă legea ta este desfătarea mea.
78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: [but] I will meditate in thy precepts.
Rușinați fie cei mândri, căci s-au purtat pervers cu mine fără motiv, dar eu voi medita la preceptele tale.
79 Let those that fear thee turn to me, and those that have known thy testimonies.
Să se întoarcă la mine cei ce se tem de tine și cei ce au cunoscut mărturiile tale.
80 Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I may not be ashamed.
Inima mea să fie desăvârșită în statutele tale, ca să nu mă rușinez.
81 CAPH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation: [but] I hope in thy word.
CAF Sufletul meu se sfârșește după salvarea ta, dar eu sper în cuvântul tău.
82 My eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
Ochii mei se sfârșesc după cuvântul tău, spunând: Când mă vei mângâia?
83 For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; [yet] I do not forget thy statutes.
Căci am devenit ca un burduf în fum; totuși eu nu uit statutele tale.
84 How many [are] the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
Cât de multe sunt zilele servitorului tău? Când vei face judecată asupra celor ce mă persecută?
85 The proud have digged pits for me, which [are] not according to thy law.
Pentru mine au săpat gropi cei mândri, care nu sunt după legea ta.
86 All thy commandments [are] faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.
Toate poruncile tale sunt credincioase, ei mă persecută pe nedrept; ajută-mă.
87 They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.
Aproape că m-au mistuit de pe pământ; dar eu nu am părăsit preceptele tale.
88 Revive me after thy loving-kindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.
Dă-mi viață după bunătatea ta iubitoare; astfel voi ține mărturia gurii tale.
89 LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
LAMED Pentru totdeauna, DOAMNE, cuvântul tău este întemeiat în cer.
90 Thy faithfulness [is] to all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
Credincioșia ta este spre toate generațiile, tu ai întemeiat pământul și el dăinuiește.
91 They continue this day according to thy ordinances: for all [are] thy servants.
Ei dăinuiesc până astăzi conform rânduielilor tale, căci toți sunt servitorii tăi.
92 Unless thy law [had been] my delights, I should then have perished in my affliction.
Dacă legea ta nu ar fi fost desfătările mele, atunci aș fi pierit în necazul meu.
93 I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast revived me.
Nu voi uita niciodată preceptele tale, căci cu ele mi-ai dat viață.
94 I [am] thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.
Eu sunt al tău, salvează-mă, fiindcă am căutat preceptele tale.
95 The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: [but] I will consider thy testimonies.
Cei stricați m-au așteptat pentru a mă nimici, dar eu voi lua aminte la mărturiile tale.
96 I have seen an end of all perfection: [but] thy commandment [is] exceeding broad.
Am văzut un sfârșit a toată perfecțiunea, dar porunca ta este foarte întinsă.
97 MEM. O how I love thy law! it [is] my meditation all the day.
MEM Cât de mult iubesc legea ta! Ea este meditația mea toată ziua.
98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than my enemies: for they [are] ever with me.
Prin poruncile tale m-ai făcut mai înțelept decât dușmanii mei, căci ele sunt totdeauna cu mine.
99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies [are] my (meditation)
Am mai multă înțelegere decât toți învățătorii mei, fiindcă mărturiile tale sunt meditația mea.
100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
Înțeleg mai mult decât bătrânii, pentru că eu țin preceptele tale.
101 I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
Mi-am înfrânat picioarele de la fiecare cale rea, ca să țin cuvântul tău.
102 I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.
Nu m-am depărtat de judecățile tale, pentru că tu m-ai învățat.
103 How sweet are thy words to my taste! [yes, sweeter] than honey to my mouth!
Cât de dulci sunt cuvintele tale pentru cerul gurii mele! Mai dulci decât mierea pentru gura mea!
104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
Prin preceptele tale obțin înțelegere, de aceea urăsc toată calea mincinoasă.
105 NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
NUN Cuvântul tău este o lampă pentru picioarele mele și o lumină pentru cărarea mea.
106 I have sworn, and I will perform [it], that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
Am jurat că voi ține judecățile tale drepte și le voi împlini.
107 I am afflicted very much: revive me, O LORD, according to thy word.
Sunt foarte nenorocit; dă-mi viață, DOAMNE, conform cuvântului tău.
108 Accept, I beseech thee, the free-will-offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.
Te implor, DOAMNE, primește ofrandele de bunăvoie ale gurii mele și învață-mă judecățile tale.
109 My soul [is] continually in my hand: yet I do not forget thy law.
Sufletul meu este continuu în mâna mea, totuși eu nu uit legea ta.
110 The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.
Cei stricați mi-au întins o capcană, totuși nu m-am rătăcit de la preceptele tale.
111 Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they [are] the rejoicing of my heart.
Mărturiile tale le-am luat ca pe o moștenire pentru totdeauna, fiindcă ele sunt bucuria inimii mele.
112 I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes always, [even to] the end.
Mi-am aplecat inima să împlinesc statutele tale întotdeauna, până la sfârșit.
113 SAMECH. I hate [vain] thoughts: but thy law do I love.
SAMEC Urăsc gândurile deșarte, dar iubesc legea ta.
114 Thou [art] my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
Tu ești ascunzișul meu și scutul meu, eu sper în cuvântul tău.
115 Depart from me, ye evil-doers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.
Plecați de la mine, voi făcători de rău, căci voi ține poruncile Dumnezeului meu.
116 Uphold me according to thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
Susține-mă conform cuvântului tău, ca să trăiesc; și nu mă lăsa să fiu făcut de rușine datorită speranței mele.
117 Support me, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect to thy statutes continually.
Susține-mă și voi fi în siguranță și voi respecta statutele tale continuu.
118 Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.
Tu ai călcat în picioare pe toți cei ce rătăcesc de la statutele tale, pentru că înșelătoria lor este falsitate.
119 Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth [like] dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.
Tu pui deoparte precum zgura pe toți cei stricați ai pământului, de aceea eu iubesc mărturiile tale.
120 My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.
Carnea mea tremură de teama de tine; și mă tem de judecățile tale.
121 AIN. I have done judgment and justice; leave me not to my oppressors.
AYIN Eu am făcut judecată și justiție; nu mă lăsa la voia opresorilor mei.
122 Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.
Fii garant pentru servitorul tău pentru bine, nu lăsa pe cei mândri să mă oprime.
123 My eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.
Ochii mei se sfârșesc după salvarea ta și după cuvântul dreptății tale.
124 Deal with thy servant according to thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.
Poartă-te cu servitorul tău conform milei tale și învață-mă statutele tale.
125 I [am] thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
Eu sunt servitorul tău; dă-mi înțelegere, ca să cunosc mărturiile tale.
126 [It is] time for [thee], LORD, to work: [for] they have made void thy law.
Este timpul să lucrezi, DOAMNE, pentru că ei au făcut legea ta fără efect.
127 Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yes, above fine gold.
De aceea iubesc poruncile tale mai mult decât aurul; da, mai mult decât aurul pur.
128 Therefore I esteem all [thy] precepts [concerning] all [things to be] right; [and] I hate every false way.
De aceea socotesc toate preceptele tale ca fiind drepte; și urăsc toată calea mincinoasă.
129 PE. Thy testimonies [are] wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.
PE Mărturiile tale sunt minunate, de aceea sufletul meu le ține.
130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding to the simple.
Intrarea cuvintelor tale dă lumină; ea dă înțelegere celui simplu.
131 I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.
Mi-am deschis gura și am sorbit, căci am tânjit după poruncile tale.
132 Look thou upon me, and be merciful to me, as thou usest to do to those that love thy name.
Uită-te la mine și fii milostiv cu mine, așa cum ai obișnuit să faci celor ce iubesc numele tău.
133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Rânduiește-mi pașii în cuvântul tău și nicio nelegiuire să nu domnească asupra mea.
134 Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.
Eliberează-mă de oprimarea omului, astfel voi ține preceptele tale.
135 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: and teach me thy statutes.
Fă să strălucească fața ta peste servitorul tău; și învață-mă statutele tale.
136 Rivers of waters run down my eyes, because they keep not thy law.
Râuri de ape curg din ochii mei, pentru că ei nu țin legea ta.
137 TSADDI. Righteous [art] thou, O LORD, and upright [are] thy judgments.
ȚADI Drept ești tu, DOAMNE, și integre sunt judecățile tale.
138 Thy testimonies [that] thou hast commanded [are] righteous and very faithful.
Mărturiile tale, pe care le-ai poruncit, sunt drepte și foarte credincioase.
139 My zeal hath consumed me; because my enemies have forgotten thy words.
Zelul meu m-a mistuit, pentru că dușmanii mei au uitat cuvintele tale.
140 Thy word [is] very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
Cuvântul tău este foarte pur, de aceea servitorul tău îl iubește.
141 I [am] small and despised: [yet] I do not forget thy precepts.
Eu sunt mic și disprețuit, totuși nu uit preceptele tale.
142 Thy righteousness [is] an everlasting righteousness, and thy law [is] the truth.
Dreptatea ta este o dreptate veșnică și legea ta este adevărul.
143 Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: [yet] thy commandments [are] my delights.
Tulburare și chin m-au cuprins, totuși poruncile tale sunt desfătările mele.
144 The righteousness of thy testimonies [is] everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.
Dreptatea mărturiilor tale este veșnică, dă-mi înțelegere și voi trăi.
145 KOPH. I cried with [my] whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.
KOF Am strigat cu întreaga mea inimă; ascultă-mă, DOAMNE, eu voi ține statutele tale.
146 I cried to thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.
Am strigat către tine; salvează-mă și voi ține mărturiile tale.
147 I came before the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.
Am întâmpinat răsăritul dimineții și am strigat, am sperat în cuvântul tău.
148 My eyes anticipated the [night] watches, that I might meditate in thy word.
Ochii mei întâmpină gărzile nopții, ca să meditez la cuvântul tău.
149 Hear my voice, according to thy loving-kindness: O LORD, revive me according to thy judgment.
Ascultă-mi vocea conform bunătății tale iubitoare, DOAMNE, dă-mi viață conform judecății tale.
150 They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.
Se apropie cei ce urmăresc ticăloșie, ei sunt departe de legea ta.
151 Thou [art] near, O LORD; and all thy commandments [are] truth.
Tu ești aproape, DOAMNE; și toate poruncile tale sunt adevăr.
152 Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
Referitor la mărturiile tale, am știut din vechime că tu le-ai fondat pentru totdeauna.
153 RESH. Consider my affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.
REȘ Ia aminte la necazul meu și eliberează-mă, căci nu uit legea ta.
154 Plead my cause, and deliver me: revive me according to thy word.
Pledează în cauza mea și eliberează-mă, dă-mi viață conform cuvântului tău.
155 Salvation [is] far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.
Salvarea este departe de cei stricați, căci ei nu caută statutele tale.
156 Great [are] thy tender mercies, O LORD: revive me according to thy judgments.
Mari sunt îndurările tale blânde, DOAMNE, dă-mi viață conform judecăților tale.
157 Many [are] my persecutors and my enemies; [yet] I do not decline from thy testimonies.
Mulți sunt persecutorii mei și dușmanii mei; totuși nu mă abat de la mărturiile tale.
158 I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.
Am privit pe călcătorii de lege și m-am mâhnit, pentru că nu au ținut cuvântul tău.
159 Consider how I love thy precepts: revive me, O LORD, according to thy loving-kindness.
Vezi cât iubesc preceptele tale, dă-mi viață, DOAMNE, conform bunătății tale iubitoare.
160 Thy word [is] true [from] the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments [endureth] for ever.
Cuvântul tău este adevărat de la început și fiecare din judecățile tale drepte dăinuiește pentru totdeauna.
161 SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause; but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
ȘIN Prinți m-au persecutat fără motiv, dar inima mea se cutremură la cuvântul tău.
162 I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
Mă bucur la cuvântul tău, ca unul ce găsește mare pradă.
163 I hate and abhor lying: [but] thy law do I love.
Urăsc și detest minciuna, dar iubesc legea ta.
164 Seven times a day do I praise thee, because of thy righteous judgments.
De șapte ori pe zi te laud datorită judecăților tale drepte.
165 Great peace have they who love thy law: and nothing shall cause them to stumble.
Multă pace au cei ce iubesc legea ta și nimic nu îi va poticni.
166 LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and performed thy commandments.
DOAMNE, eu am sperat în salvarea ta și am împlinit poruncile tale.
167 My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
Sufletul meu a ținut mărturiile tale și le iubesc peste măsură.
168 I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways [are] before thee.
Am ținut preceptele tale și mărturiile tale, căci toate căile mele sunt înaintea ta.
169 TAU. Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.
TAV Să se apropie strigătul meu înaintea ta, DOAMNE, dă-mi înțelegere conform cuvântului tău.
170 Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.
Să ajungă cererea mea înaintea ta, eliberează-mă conform cuvântului tău.
171 My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
Buzele mele vor rosti laudă, când mă vei învăța statutele tale.
172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments [are] righteousness.
Limba mea va vorbi despre cuvântul tău, pentru că toate poruncile tale sunt dreptate.
173 Let thy hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.
Mâna ta să mă ajute, pentru că am ales preceptele tale.
174 I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law [is] my delight.
Am tânjit după salvarea ta, DOAMNE, și legea ta este desfătarea mea.
175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.
Lasă sufletul meu să trăiască și te va lăuda; și lasă judecățile tale să mă ajute.
176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
Am rătăcit ca o oaie pierdută; caută pe servitorul tău, pentru că nu uit poruncile tale.
