< Romans 10 >
1 Brothers, my heart's desire and my request to God is for them, for their salvation.
My brethren, (it is) the wish of my heart, and my prayer to Aloha concerning them, that they may be saved.
2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
For I testify of them that they have zeal for Aloha, but not in knowledge.
3 For they do not know of God's righteousness, and they seek to establish their own righteousness. They did not submit to the righteousness of God.
But the righteousness of Aloha they know not, but seek the righteousness of themselves to establish, and on this account to the righteousness of Aloha they have not become subject.
4 For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness for everyone who believes.
For the end of the law is the Meshiha unto righteousness in all who believe in him.
5 For Moses writes about the righteousness that comes from the law: “The man who does the righteousness of the law will live by this righteousness.”
FOR Musha thus describeth the righteousness which is of the law, that he who doeth these things shall live by them.
6 But the righteousness that comes from faith says this, “Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?' (that is, to bring Christ down);
But the righteousness which is by faith thus speaketh, Say not in thy heart, Who shall ascend into heaven, And bring down the Meshiha?
7 and do not say, 'Who will descend into the abyss?'” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). (Abyssos )
And who shall descend into the deep of Sheul, And bring up the Meshiha from among the dead? (Abyssos )
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart.” That is the word of faith, which we proclaim.
But what saith it? Nigh thee is the word of thy mouth and of thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.
9 For if with your mouth you acknowledge Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
And if thou wilt confess with thy mouth our Lord Jeshu, and wilt believe with thy heart that Aloha hath raised him from among the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believes for righteousness, and with the mouth he acknowledges for salvation.
For the heart which believeth in him is justified, and the mouth which confesseth him is saved.
11 For scripture says, “Everyone who believes on him will not be put to shame.”
For the scripture saith, that every one who believeth in him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between Jew and Greek. For the same Lord is Lord of all, and he is rich to all who call upon him.
And in this he hath not distinguished nor the Jihudoya nor the Aramoya; for one is the Lord of them all, who is rich toward every one who calleth on him.
13 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
For every one who shall invoke the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then can they call on him in whom they have not believed? How can they believe in him of whom they have not heard? How can they hear without a preacher?
How then shall they invoke him in whom they have not believed? Or how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? Or how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 Then how can they preach, unless they are sent?—As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who proclaim glad tidings of good things!”
Or how shall they preach if they are not sent? As it is written, How beautiful the feet of them who evangelize peace, And who evangelize good things!
16 But they did not all listen to the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”
But all of them have not obeyed the preaching of the gospel: for Eshaia saith, My Lord, who hath believed our voice?
17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
Therefore faith is from the hearing of the ear, and the hearing of the ear from the word of Aloha.
18 But I say, “Did they not hear?” Yes, most certainly. “Their sound has gone out into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.”
But I say, Have they not heard? Behold, in all the earth their voice hath gone forth, And to the ends of the world their words!
19 Moreover, I say, “Did Israel not know?” First Moses says, “I will provoke you to jealousy by what is not a nation. By means of a nation without understanding, I will stir you up to anger.”
But I say, Hath not Israel known? First, Musha thus speaketh, I will provoke you by a people who is not a people. And by the disobedient people will I make you angry.
20 Then Isaiah was very bold when he says, “I was found by those who did not seek me. I appeared to those who did not ask for me.”
But Eshaia is bold, and saith, I am beheld by them who have not sought me, And found of them who for me have not inquired.
21 But to Israel he says, “All the day long I reached out my hands to a disobedient and stubborn people.”
But of Israel he saith, I have stretched out my hands all the day To a contentious and disobedient people.
