< Mark 2 >

1 When he came back to Capernaum after a few days, it was heard that he was at home.
Nikho phabep jouva Yeshua Capernaum'a akile kit chun, in lama akile kittai ti muntin a ana thangsoh man kittan ahi.
2 So many gathered there that there was no more space, not even at the door, and Jesus spoke the word to them.
Chomlou kah'in aumna in a chun mipi ahung kitit dim jeng in, umna ding kotphung polam jeng jong onglou khop'in mi adimlha jeng tai. Mipi chu Pathen thu ahil jing laiyin,
3 Then some men came to him who were bringing a paralyzed man; four people were carrying him.
Pasal li-in langthi khat pheh chunga ahin pulut un ahi.
4 When they could not get near him because of the crowd, they removed the roof that was above Jesus, and after they made an opening, they lowered the bed the paralyzed man was lying on.
Mipi atam behseh jeh chun Yeshua kom alutthei tahih un, hijeh chun Ama luchung don tah'a inchung alhong chu aphevang un, langthipa chu alupna pumin a angsunga akhailha jeng tauvin ahi.
5 Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”
Atahsan uchu Yeshuan amun, langthipa jah achun, “Chapa, na chonset naho kingaidam ahitai,” ati.
6 Now some of the scribes were sitting there, and they reasoned in their hearts,
Ahinlah danthu sun phabep khat chua touho chun alungthim uva,
7 “How can this man speak this way? He blasphemes! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
“Ibola hitia chu thu aseiham? Hiche hi kitaitomna ahi. Pathen bouvin chonset angaidam thei ahi!” tin agel un ahi.
8 Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit what they were thinking among themselves. He said to them, “Why are you thinking this in your hearts?
Alunguva ipi agelu chu Yeshuan ahepai jeng in ajah uvah, “Ibola lung opkai le lungboi nahi uvem?
9 What is easier to say to the paralyzed man, 'Your sins are forgiven' or to say 'Get up, take up your bed, and walk'?
Langthipa koma, ‘Na chonset naho kingaidama ahitai’ ti toh ‘Thouvin, nalupna pheh chu kichoi inlang lam jottan,’ ti chu hoijoh baijo ham?”
10 But in order that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” he said to the paralytic,
Ahoi hita jongleh leiset chunga Mihem Chapan chonset ngaidamna thahat aneiye ti, nahetna diuva photchenna kavetsah ding nahiuve, ati.
11 “I say to you, get up, take up your mat, and go to your house.”
Chuin langthipa lamah Yeshua akiheiyin, “Thouvin, nalupna pheh kichoiyin lang in lama chetan!” ati.
12 He got up and immediately took up the mat, and went out of the house in front of everyone, so that they were all amazed and they gave glory to God, and they said, “We never saw anything like this.”
Chutah chun langthipa chu akichom in, alupna pheh akilah-in japi lungdong ho mitmutah chun achedoh tai. Amaho chun kidang asalheh jeng un, “Hitobang himhim kamu kha pouve,” atiuvin Pathen avahchoi avahchoi tauve.
13 He went out again by the lake, and all the crowd came to him, and he taught them.
Chuin Yeshua apotdoh in dillen pangah achekit tan, chuah mipi ahenga hungho chu thu ahil e.
14 As he passed by, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector's tent and he said to him, “Follow me.” He got up and followed him.
Chuin achephei leh, Alphaeus chapa Levi chu akaidonna mun'a atou amun ahi. Hichun ajah a, “Neijuiyin lang kaseijui hitan,” atileh ama chu akipatdoh'in anung ajuitai.
15 Jesus was having a meal in Levi's house and many tax collectors and sinful people were dining with him and his disciples, for there were many and they followed him.
Chujouvin Levin Yeshua leh aseijuite ain'a an nedin akouvin, chuleh kaidong ho le mi chonse ho tamtah jong akou than ahi. (Yeshua nungjui ho lah-a hitobang mi chu tamtah um ahi).
16 When the scribes, who were Pharisees, saw that Jesus was eating with the sinful people and tax collectors, they said to his disciples, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinful people?”
Dan thuhil ho lah-a Pharisee hon Yeshuan mi chonse holeh kaidong ho toh an aneh khom chu amu phat un, aseijuite jah-a, “Itidan a kaidong ho le mi chonse ho toh an aneh khom ham?” ati tauvin ahi.
17 When Jesus heard this he said to them, “People who are strong in body do not need a physician; only people who are sick need one. I did not come to call righteous people, but sinful people.”
Hichu Yeshuan ajatan, hichun ajah uvah, “Atidam ten louthem angai pouve, adam louten bou angaiyui. Mi chonphate kouva hung kahipoi, lunghei dia mi chonsete kouva hungjoh kahi bouve,” atipeh un ahi.
18 Now John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting. Some people came and said to him, “Why do John's disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?”
Khatvei John seijui holeh Pharisee hon an angol laiyun, mi phabep ahungun Yeshua jah-ah, “I-atileh John seijuiho le pharisee hon an angol jiuva, nangma seijui hon an angolji louham?” tin adong un,
19 Jesus said to them, “Can the wedding attendants fast while the bridegroom is still with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
Yeshuan adonbut in, “Mou loma chehon golnop anei laiyuva an angol jiuvem? Achutilou ding hetsa ahi. Moulang in aumpi laiseuva an angol lou diu ahi.
20 But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and in those days, they will fast.
Amavang moulang chu akomuva kon'a aki puimang ni hung lhung ding ahi—chuche nileh an angol diu ahi.
21 No man sews a piece of new cloth on an old garment, otherwise the patch will tear away from it, the new from the old, and there will be a worse tear.
Chujongleh, koiyin pon thah hal chu ponluiya abeh ngaiyem? Beh taleh abehna joh chun kai ehjo cheh intin, athah joh chun alui chu akaiset ding ahi.
22 No man puts new wine into old wineskins, otherwise the wine will burst the skins and both the wine and the wineskins will be lost. Instead, put new wine into fresh wineskins.”
Chule koiman Lengpitwi thah savun pengluiya akhum ngaipoi; achuti kibol leh alengpitwi chun asavun peng chu tumkeh intin, lengpitwi le savun peng akop a mang ding ahi. Lengpitwi thah chu peng thah-a akhumji bou uve,” ati.
23 On the Sabbath day Jesus went through some grainfields, and his disciples began to pick heads of grain.
Cholngah ni khat hin Yeshuan buleilai ajot in ahileh, aseijui ten ache pum un changvui chu asih pan tauvin ahi.
24 The Pharisees said to him, “Look, why are they doing something that is not lawful on the Sabbath day?”
Chuin Pharisee hon Yeshua jah-a, “Vetang, ibola Cholngah nia bolngai lou abol uham?” atiuve.
25 He said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he was in need and hungry—he and the men who were with him—
Yeshuan adonbut in, “David le aloiho alhahsam uva agilkel pet'uva chu ipi-abolu nasim khah hih uvem?
26 how he went into the house of God when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the bread of the presence, which it is unlawful for anyone to eat except the priests, and he even gave some to those who were with him?”
Abiathar Thempu chungnung ahilaiyin Pathen in a alut in, Thempu tailou adang in aneh dia phal hilou changlhah ho chu anen, aloi ho jong apen ahi,” ati.
27 Jesus said, “The Sabbath was made for mankind, not mankind for the Sabbath.
Yeshuan amaho jah-a aseipehben, Cholngah ni chu mihem dinga kisem ahi. Cholngahni dinga mihem kisemjoh ahipoi.
28 Therefore, the Son of Man is Lord, even of the Sabbath.”
Hijeh chun, Mihem Chapa chu Pakai ahin, Cholngah ni Pakai jong ahi, ati.
