1 Peter 2
1 Therefore put aside all evil, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all slander.
୧ଇଚିହିଁ ପ୍ରବୁ କାର୍ମା ମେହ୍ନାସି ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ମୀରୁ ନୀଏଁ ପୁଞ୍ଜିମାନାକି, ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ବାରେ ଲାଗେଏ ପ଼ଲେଏତାଣି, ନା଼ଡ଼ି କିନାଣି, କୁଟୁ, ଲ଼କୁଣି ଡା଼ହାରା ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଲ଼କୁଣି ନିନ୍ଦା କାତା ଜ଼ଲିନାଣି ପିହ୍ଦୁ,
2 As newborn infants, long for pure spiritual milk, so that through it you may grow in salvation,
୨ପୁଃନି ଜାର୍ନାଆ଼ତି କ୍ଡଗି କକାରି ପ଼ଦାଁଲେହେଁ ଏ଼ନାଆଁ ଆଣ୍ତାଆତି ପା଼ଲୁ ଗସାଲି ଅଣ୍ପିଦେରି, ଆତିହିଁ ମୀରୁ ପାଡାଆ଼ହାନା ଗେଲ୍ପି ଆ଼ଦେରି ।
3 if you have tasted that the Lord is kind.
୩ଦାର୍ମୁପତିତା ରା଼ସ୍କି ଆ଼ହାମାନେ, “ମାହାପୂରୁ ଏଚେକା କାର୍ମା ମେହ୍ନାସି, ଏ଼ଦାଆଁ ମୀରୁ ପୁଞ୍ଜାମାଞ୍ଜେରି ।”
4 Come to him who is a living stone that has been rejected by people, but that has been chosen by God as valuable to him.
୪ଜୀୱୁଗାଟି ୱାଲି ଲେହେଁତି ପ୍ରବୁ, ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ମାଣ୍ସିୟାଁ ତା଼ଣାଟି ଅ଼ପାଆତେରି ସାତା, ସାମା ମାହାପୂରୁ ତା଼ଣା ଆ଼ଚ୍ୱି ଆ଼ହାନା ଗାଡି ଦାରାଗାଟାସି ଆ଼ତେସି ।
5 You also are like living stones that are being built up to be a spiritual house, in order to be a holy priesthood that offers the spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
୫ତାନି ତା଼ଣା ୱା଼ହାନା ମୀରୁ ଜିକେଏ ଜୀସୁ କ୍ରୀସ୍ତ ତା଼ଣାଟି ମାହାପୂରୁ ନ଼କିତା ନେହିଁ ଜୀୱୁତି ପୂଜା ହୀହାଲିତାକି ସୁଦୁଗାଟି ପୂଜେରାଙ୍ଗା ଲେହେଁ ଆ଼ହାଲିତାକି ଜୀୱୁତି ୱାଲି ଲେହେଁ ଆ଼ହାନା ର଼ ପ୍ରା଼ତାନା ଇଲୁ ଲେହେଁ ଆ଼ଦୁ ।
6 Scripture contains this: “See, I am laying in Zion a cornerstone, chosen and valuable. Whoever believes in him will not be ashamed.”
୬ଇଚିହିଁ ଦାର୍ମୁ ପତିତା ରା଼ସ୍କି ଆ଼ହାମାନେ; “ନା଼ନୁ ସିୟନତା ର଼ ଆ଼ଚ୍ୱି ଆ଼ହାମାନି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଦାରାଗାଟି କନତି ମୂଲୁ ୱାଲି କିହାମାଇଁ ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ଏ଼ୱାଣି ତା଼ଣା ନାମିନେସି ଏ଼ୱାସି ଏଚେଲାୱା ଲାଜା ବେଟାଆ଼ଅସି ।”
7 The honor then is for you who believe. But, “the stone that was rejected by the builders, this has become the head of the corner”—
୭ମୀରୁ ପ୍ରବୁଇଁ ନାମିମାଞ୍ଜେରି, ମୀରୁ ଏ଼ ଦାରାଗାଟି ତା଼ଣା ଆଣ୍ତାମାଞ୍ଜେରି, ସାମା ଆମ୍ବାଆରି ନାମଅରି, “ଇଲୁ କେ଼ପିନାରି ଆମିନି ୱାଲିତି ଅ଼ପାଆତେରି, ଏ଼ଦି ଏ଼ୱାରାକି ଇଲୁ କନତି ମୂଲୁ ୱାଲି ଆ଼ତେ ।”
8 and, “A stone of stumbling and a rock that makes them fall.” They stumble because they disobey the word—which is what they were appointed to do.
୮ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଦାର୍ମୁପତିତା ରା଼ସ୍କି ଆ଼ହାମାନେ, “ଏ଼ ୱାଲିତା ହା଼ରେକା ଲ଼କୁ ପୁଟି କିନେରି, ଏ଼ ପା଼କା ୱାଲି ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ଡ଼଼ଇ ତର୍ଗି କିନାୟି ଆ଼ନେ;” ମାହାପୂରୁ ବ଼ଲୁ ଆହ୍ଆତାକି ଏ଼ୱାରି ଏମ୍ବାଆଁ ବା଼ଦା ବେଟାଆ଼ନେରି ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଏ଼ଦାଆଁତାକି ଏ଼ୱାରି ମାହାପୂରୁ ତା଼ଣାଟି ଆ଼ଚ୍ୱି ଆ଼ହାମାଚେରି ।
9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's possession, so that you would announce the wonderful actions of the one who called you out from darkness into his marvelous light.
୯ସାମା ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ମିଙ୍ଗେ ଆନ୍ଦେରିଟି ତାନି କାବାଆ଼ନି ଉଜେଡ଼ିତା ହା଼ଟାମାଞ୍ଜାନେସି, ମୀରୁ ଏ଼ନିକିଁ ଏ଼ୱାଣି ଗୂଣୁ ପା଼ଚିଦେରି, ଏ଼ଦାଆଁତାକି ମୀରୁ ମାହାପୂରୁ ଆ଼ଚାମାଞ୍ଜାନି କୂଡ଼ାତେରି, ରାଜାତି ସେ଼ବାକିନି ପୂଜେରାଙ୍ଗା, ମାହାପୂରୁ ସେ଼ବାତାକି ଏଟ୍କା ଆ଼ହାମାନି ସୁଦୁ କୂଡ଼ାତେରି, ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ମାହାପୂରୁତି ଲ଼କୁତେରି ଆ଼ହାମାଞ୍ଜେରି ।
10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God. You did not receive mercy, but now you have received mercy.
୧୦“ତଲି ମୀରୁ ମାହାପୂରୁତି ଲ଼କୁ ଆ଼ହା ହିଲାଆତେରି, ସାମା ନୀଏଁ ମୀରୁ ମାହାପୂରୁତି ଲ଼କୁ ଆ଼ହାମାଞ୍ଜେରି, ତଲି ମୀରୁ ମାହାପୂରୁତି କାର୍ମା ବେଟାଆ଼ହା ହିଲାଆତେରି, ସାମା ନୀଏଁ ତାନି କାର୍ମାଆ଼ନାଣି ବେଟାଆ଼ହାମାଞ୍ଜେରି ।”
11 Beloved, I call on you as foreigners and exiles to abstain from fleshly desires, which make war against your soul.
୧୧ଏ଼ ଜୀୱୁତି ତାୟି ତାଙ୍ଗିସ୍କା, ନା଼ନୁ ମିଙ୍ଗେ ଈ ଦାର୍ତିତା ଏଟ୍କା ଦେ଼ସାତାତେରି ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ହେକ ଦେ଼ସାଟି ୱା଼ହାମାନାତେରି ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ଅଣ୍ପାନା ବାତିମା଼ଲିମାଞ୍ଜାଇଁ, ମୀରୁ ମୀ ଆଙ୍ଗାତି ଜୂପ୍କାଟି ହେକ ଆ଼ଦୁ, ଏ଼ୱି ମୀ ଜୀୱୁ କ଼ପାଟି ଜୁଜୁ କିହେ଼ମାନୁ ।
12 You should have good behavior among the Gentiles, so that, if they speak about you as having done evil things, they may observe your good works and praise God on the day of his coming.
୧୨ମୀରୁ ଜୀହୁଦିଆ଼ଆତି ଲ଼କୁତା଼ଣା ମୀ ମାଣ୍କି ଦ଼ହ ହିଲାଆଗାଟାୟି ଆ଼ପେ, ଏ଼ନିକିଁ ଏ଼ୱାରି ନୀଏଁ ମିଙ୍ଗେ ପା଼ପୁ ଦ଼ହ ଗାଟାତେରି ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ନିନ୍ଦା କିୟାନେରି, ଡା଼ୟୁ କ୍ରୀସ୍ତ ୱା଼ନି ଦିନାତା ମୀ ନେହିଁ କାମା ମେସାନା ମାହାପୂରୁଇଁ ଜହରା କିନେରି ।
13 Obey every human authority for the Lord's sake. Obey both the king as supreme,
୧୩ପ୍ରବୁତି ତାକି ବାତିମା଼ଲିମାଞ୍ଜାଇଁ, ମୀ ମୁହେଁ ସା଼ଲୱି କିନାରାଇଁ ମା଼ନୱି ଆ଼ଦୁ ।
14 and also the governors, who are sent to punish evildoers and to praise those who do good.
୧୪ବାରେତି କିହାଁ କାଜା ରାଜା ଆ଼ପେସି, ଲାଗେଏ ପ଼ଲେଏତାରାଇଁ ଡଣ୍ତ ହୀହାଲି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ନେହିଁ କାମା କିନାରାଇଁ ରା଼ହାଁ କିହାଲିତାକି ତାନିତା଼ଣାଟି ପାଣ୍ତ୍ୱିଆ଼ହାମାନି ସା଼ଲୱି କିନାସି ଆ଼ପେସି, ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ମା଼ନି କିଦୁ ।
15 For this is God's will, that in doing good you silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.
୧୫ଇଚିହିଁ ମୀରୁ ନେହିଁ କାମା କିହାଁ ବୁଦି ହିଲାଆ ଉଜେଏତି କାତା ୱେହ୍ନାରାଇଁ ସାପି କିଦୁ, ଏ଼ଦି ମାହାପୂରୁତି ଅଣ୍ପୁ ।
16 As free people, do not use your freedom as a covering for wickedness, but be like servants of God.
୧୬ମୀରୁ ମେ଼ଲା ମାନାତେରି ଆ଼ତିଜିକେଏ ଏ଼ ମେ଼ଲା ଆ଼ହାମାନି ତା଼ଣାଟି ଲାଗେଏ ପ଼ଲେଏ ଲେ଼ମ୍ବାଆ଼ଦୁ, ସାମା ମାହାପୂରୁତି ହ଼ଲିୟା ଆ଼ହାନା ନେହିଁ କାମା କିଦୁ ।
17 Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
୧୭ବାରେ ଲ଼କୁଇଁ ଆବାଦୁ, କ୍ରୀସ୍ତାନା ତାୟି ତାଙ୍ଗିଇଁ ଜୀୱୁନ଼ଦୁ, ମାହାପୂରୁଇଁ ଆଜାଦୁ, ରାଜାଇଁ ମା଼ନି କିଦୁ ।
18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect. Be subject not only to the good and gentle masters, but also to the malicious ones.
୧୮ହ଼ଲିୟାଙ୍ଗାତେରି ମୀରୁ ଆଜିତଲେ ମୀ ସା଼ୱୁକାରିୟାଁଇଁ ମା଼ନୱି ଆ଼ଦୁ, ୱାର୍ଇ ନେହାଁରାଇଁ ଅ଼ଡ଼େ କାର୍ମା ମେହ୍ନାରାଇଁ ଆ଼ଏ, ସାମା ଲାଗେଏତି ସା଼ୱୁକାରିୟାଁଇଁ ଜିକେଏ ଏଲେକିଁ ମା଼ନୱିଆ଼ଦୁ ।
19 For it is praiseworthy if anyone endures pain while suffering injustice because of his awareness of God.
୧୯ଇଚିହିଁ ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ମାହାପୂରୁଇଁ ନାମିତାକି ଲାଗେଏତାଣି ତାକି ଦୁକୁ କସ୍ତ ବେଟାଆ଼ହାନା ଅ଼ର୍ହିନେସି, ଆତିହିଁ ଏ଼ଦି ରା଼ହାଁତି କାତା ।
20 For how much credit is there if you sin and then endure while being punished? But if you have done good and then you suffer while being punished, this is worthy of praise from God.
୨୦ମୀରୁ ମୀ ଦ଼ହ ତାକି ଡଣ୍ତ ବେଟାଆ଼ଦେରି, ଏମ୍ବାଆଁ ଏ଼ନି ଲା଼ବା? ସାମା ନେହିଁ କାମାତାକି କସ୍ତ ଅ଼ର୍ହିତିହିଁ, ମାହାପୂରୁ ମିଙ୍ଗେ ବ଼ର ହିୟାନେସି ।
21 For it is to this that you were called, because Christ also suffered for you. He left an example for you to follow in his steps.
୨୧ମାହାପୂରୁ ତା଼ଣା ବାରେତାକି ହା଼ଟ୍କିଆ଼ହା ମାଞ୍ଜେରି, ଇଚିହିଁ ମୀରୁ ଏ଼ନିକିଁ କ୍ରୀସ୍ତତି ପା଼ୱୁଲି ତଲେ ତା଼କିଦେରି ଏ଼ଦାଆଁତାକି ଏ଼ୱାସି ଜିକେଏ ମିଙ୍ଗେତାକି ଦୁକୁ କସ୍ତ ଅ଼ର୍ହାନା, ମିଙ୍ଗେତାକି ଏଲେଆ଼ହାଲି ତ଼ସାମାଞ୍ଜାନେସି;
22 “He committed no sin, neither was any deceit found in his mouth.”
୨୨ଏ଼ୱାସି ଏ଼ନି ପା଼ପୁ ଦ଼ହ କିହାହିଲାଆତେସି କି ଏ଼ୱାଣି ଗୂତିଟି ମିଚି କାତା ଏଚେଲାୱା ହ଼ଚାହିଲାଆତେ ।
23 When he was reviled, he did not revile back. When he suffered, he did not threaten back, but he gave himself to the one who judges justly.
୨୩ଏ଼ୱାସି ନିନ୍ଦା ବେଟାଆ଼ହି ମାଚାଟି ୱେଣ୍ଡେ ନିନ୍ଦା କିଆତେସି; ଦୁକୁ କସ୍ତ ବେଟାଆ଼ହି ମାଚାଟି ୱେଣ୍ଡେ କସ୍ତ ହିୟାଇଁ ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ଆଜି ତ଼ସାନା ୱେହ୍ଆତେସି, ସାମା ସାତା ନୀହାଁୟି କିନି ମାହାପୂରୁ ତା଼ଣା ତାନି ବାରେତି ହେର୍ପିତେସି ।
24 He himself carried our sins in his body to the tree, so that we would have no more part in sin, and so that we would live for righteousness. By his bruises you have been healed.
୨୪ମା଼ର ଏ଼ନିକିଁ ପା଼ପୁ ତାକି ହା଼ହାନା, ଦାର୍ମୁତାକି ଜୀୱୁତଲେ ନୀଡିନାୟି, ଏ଼ଦାଆଁତାକି ଏ଼ୱାସି ପା଼ସି ମୁଣ୍ତା ଲାକ ତାନି ଆଙ୍ଗା ତଲେ ମା଼ ବାରେ ପା଼ପୁ ଡେ଼କା ଅ଼ତେସି, ଏ଼ୱାଣି ରା଼ହାଁଟି ମୀରୁ ନେହିଁ ଆ଼ହାମାଞ୍ଜେରି ।
25 All of you had been wandering away like lost sheep, but now you have returned to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.
୨୫ଇଚିହିଁ ମୀରୁ ଜିରୁ ବା଼ଣାଆ଼ହାମାନି ମେ଼ଣ୍ତାୟାଁ ଲେହେଁ ଆ଼ହାମାଚେରି, ସାମା ନୀଏଁ ମୀରୁ ଜୀୱୁତି ଗ଼ଡ଼ୁ କୁଲମିତି କାଜାଣା ଜେ଼ଚ ଜେ଼ଚ ତା଼କାଲି ମୀରୁ ୱେଣ୍ତା ୱା଼ହାମାଞ୍ଜେରି ।
