Psalms 87

1 The city that Yahweh established is on his sacred hill.

Ang lungsod ng Panginoon ay naitatag sa banal na mga kabundukan.

2 He loves that city, Jerusalem, more than he loves any other city in Israel.

Mas minamahal ni Yahweh ang mga tarangkahan ng Sion kaysa sa lahat ng mga tolda ni Jacob.

3 [You people in] [APO] the city that God (owns/lives in), people say wonderful things about your city.

Mga maluwalhating bagay ay sinabi sa iyo, lungsod ng Diyos. (Selah)

4 [Some of those who know about God are the people of] Egypt and Babylonia, and also [the people of] Philistia and Tyre and Ethiopia; [some day they all] will say, “[Although I was not born in Jerusalem], [because I belong to Yahweh, it is as though] I was born there.”

Binanggit ko ang Rahab at Babilonia sa mga tagasunod ko. Masdan ninyo, may Filistia, at Tiro, kasama ang Etiopia. Ang isang ito ay ipinanganak doon.

5 And concerning Jerusalem, people will say [“It is as though] everyone was born there, and Almighty God will cause that city to remain strong/safe/secure.”

Sa Sion ay sasabihin ito, “Bawat isa rito ay ipinanganak sa kaniya; at ang Kataas-taasan mismo ang magtatatag sa kaniya.”

6 Yahweh will write a list of [the names of] the people of various groups [who belong to him], and he will say that [he considers them] all to be citizens of Jerusalem.

Tinatandaan ni Yahweh habang inililista niya ang mga tao, “Ang isang ito ay ipinanganak doon.” (Selah)

7 They will all dance and sing, saying, “Jerusalem is the source of all our blessings.”

Kaya sinasabi ng mang-aawit at mananayaw, “Ang lahat ng aking bukal ng tubig ay nasa iyo.”
