1 Chronicles 3
1 Six sons of [King] David were born in Hebron [city]. His oldest son was Amnon, whose mother Ahinoam was from Jezreel [city]. His next son was Daniel, whose mother was Abigail from Carmel [city].
ヘブロンにて生れたるダビデの子等は左のごとし長子はアムノンといひてヱズレル人アヒノアムより生れ其次はダニエルといひてカルメル人アビガルより生る
2 His next son was Absalom, whose mother was Maacah, the daughter of Talmai, the king [who ruled] in Geshur [town]. His next son was Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith.
その三はアブサロムといひてゲシユルの王タルマイの女マアカの生る子其四はアドニヤといひてハギテの生る子なり
3 The next son was Shephatiah, whose mother was Abital. His youngest son was Ithream, whose mother was Eglah.
その五はシバテヤといひてアビタルより生れ其六はイテレアムといひて妻エグラより生る
4 They were all born in Hebron, where David ruled for 7-1/2 years. After that, David ruled in Jerusalem for 33 years.
この六人ヘブロンにてかれに生れたりダビデ彼處にて王たりし事七年と六箇月またヱルサレムにて王たりし事三十三年
5 Many of David’s children were born in Jerusalem. Bathsheba, the daughter of Ammiel, gave birth to four of his sons: Shammua (OR, Shimea), Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon.
ヱルサレムにて生れたるその子等は左のごとしシメア、シヨバブ、ナタン、ソロモンこの四人はアンミエルの女バテシユアより生る
6 Nine [other sons of David were also born there. They were] Ibhar, Elishua (OR, Elishama), Eliphelet,
またイブハル、エリシヤマ、エリペレテ
7 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,
ノガ、ネペグ、ヤピア
8 Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet.
エリシヤマ、エリアダ、エリペレテの九人
9 In addition to all those sons, David’s slave wives also gave birth to sons. David also had one daughter whose name was Tamar.
是みなダビデの子なり此外にまた妾等の生る子等あり彼らの姉妹にタマルといふ者あり
10 Solomon’s son was [King] Rehoboam. Rehoboam’s son was [King] Abijah. Abijah’s son was [King] Asa. Asa’s son was [King] Jehoshaphat.
ソロモンの子はレハベアムその子はアビヤその子はアサその子はヨシヤパテ
11 Jehoshaphat’s son was [King] Jehoram (OR, Joram). Jehoram’s son was [King] Ahaziah. Ahaziah’s son was [King] Joash.
その子はヨラムその子はアハジアその子はヨアシ
12 Joash’s son was [King] Amaziah. Amaziah’s son was [King] Azariah. Azariah’s son was [King] Jotham.
その子はアマジヤその子はアザリヤモの子はヨタム
13 Jotham’s son was [King] Ahaz. Ahaz’s son was [King] Hezekiah. Hezekiah’s son was [King] Manasseh.
その子はアハズその子はヒゼキヤその子はマナセ
14 Manasseh’s son was [King] Amon. Amon’s son was [King] Josiah.
その子はアモンその子はヨシア
15 Josiah’s oldest son was Johanan. His other sons were Jehoiakim, Zedekiah, and Shallum.
ヨシアの子等は長子はヨハナンその次はヱホヤキムその三はゼデキヤその四はシヤルム
16 Jehoiakim’s sons were Jehoiachin (OR, Jeconiah) and Zedekiah.
ヱホヤキムの子等はその子はヱコニアその子はゼデキヤ
17 [King] Jehoiachin was captured [and taken to Babylon]. His sons were Shealtiel,
俘擄人ヱコニアの子等はその子シヤルテル
18 Malkiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
マルキラム、ペダヤ、セナザル、ヱカミア、ホシヤマ、ネダビヤ
19 Pedaiah’s sons were Zerubbabel and Shimei. [Two of] Zerubbabel’s sons were Meshullam and Hananiah, and their sister was Shelomith.
ペダヤの子等はゼルバベルおよびシメイ、ゼルバベルの子等はメシユラムおよびハナニヤその姉妹にシロミテといふ者あり
20 [Zerubbabel’s] five [other sons were] Hashubah, Ohel, Berekiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-Hesed.
またハシユバ、オヘル、ベレキヤ、ハサデヤ、ユサブヘセデの五人あり
21 The descendants of Hananiah were Pelatiah and Jeshaiah. Jeshaiah’s son was Rephaiah. Rephaiah’s son was Arnan. Arnan’s son was Obadiah. Obadiah’s son was Shecaniah.
ハナニヤの子等はベラテヤおよびヱサヤまたレバヤの子等アルナンの子等オバデヤの子等シカニヤの子等あり
22 Shecaniah’s son was Shemaiah. Shemaiah’s five sons were Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat.
シカニヤの子はシマヤ、シマヤの子等はハツトシ、イガル、バリア、ネアリア、シヤパテの六人
23 Neariah’s three sons were Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam.
ネアリアの子等はエリヨエナイ、ヒゼキヤ、アズリカムの三人
24 Elioenai’s seven sons were Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani.
エリヨエナイの子等はホダヤ、エリアシブ、ペラヤ、アツクブ、ヨハナン、デラヤ、アナニの七人
