Isaiah 34
1 to present: come nation to/for to hear: hear and people to listen to hear: hear [the] land: country/planet and fullness her world and all offspring her
Approchez, nations, pour entendre; peuples, soyez attentifs! Que la terre entende, elle et ce qu’elle renferme, le monde et tout ce qu’il produit.
2 for wrath to/for LORD upon all [the] nation and rage upon all army their to devote/destroy them to give: give them to/for slaughter
Car Yahweh est courroucé contre toutes les nations, et en fureur contre toute leur armée; il les a vouées, livrées au carnage.
3 and slain: killed their to throw and corpse their to ascend: rise stench their and to melt mountain: mount from blood their
Leurs morts seront jetés sans sépulture, leurs cadavres exhaleront l’infection, et les montagnes se fondront dans leur sang.
4 and to rot all army [the] heaven and to roll like/as scroll: document [the] heaven and all army their to wither like/as to wither leaf from vine and like/as to wither from fig
Toute l’armée des cieux sera réduite en poussière; les cieux seront roulés comme un livre, et toute leur armée tombera, comme tombe la feuille de la vigne, comme tombe celle du figuier.
5 for to quench in/on/with heaven sword my behold upon Edom to go down and upon people devoted thing my to/for justice: judgement
« Car mon épée s’est enivrée dans les cieux, et voici qu’elle descend sur Edom, sur le peuple que j’ai voué à l’anathème, pour le juger.
6 sword to/for LORD to fill blood to prosper from fat from blood ram and goat from fat kidney ram for sacrifice to/for LORD in/on/with Bozrah and slaughter great: large in/on/with land: country/planet Edom
L’épée de Yahweh est pleine de sang. ruisselante de graisse, du sang des agneaux et des boucs, de la graisse des reins des béliers. Car Yahweh fait un sacrifice à Bosra, et un grand carnage au pays d’Edom.
7 and to go down wild ox with them and bullock with mighty: ox and to quench land: country/planet their from blood and dust their from fat to prosper
Avec eux tombent les buffles, et les bœufs avec les taureaux. Leur terre s’enivre de sang, et leur poussière ruisselle de graisse.
8 for day vengeance to/for LORD year recompense to/for strife Zion
Car c’est un jour de vengeance pour Yahweh, une année de revanche pour la cause de Sion.
9 and to overturn torrent: river her to/for pitch and dust her to/for brimstone and to be land: country/planet her to/for pitch to burn: burn
Ses torrents seront changés en poix, et sa poussière en soufre, et sa terre deviendra de la poix brûlante,
10 night and by day not to quench to/for forever: enduring to ascend: rise smoke her from generation to/for generation to destroy to/for perpetuity perpetuity nothing to pass in/on/with her
qui ne s’éteindra ni la nuit ni le jour, dont la fumée montera éternellement. D’âge en âge elle restera désolée; à tout jamais personne n’y passera.
11 and to possess: possess her pelican and porcupine and owl and raven to dwell in/on/with her and to stretch upon her line formlessness and stone void
Le pélican et le hérisson la posséderont; la chouette et le corbeau y habiteront. Et il étendra sur elle le cordeau du chaos et le niveau du vide.
12 noble her and nothing there kingship to call: call by and all ruler her to be end
Il n’y aura plus de grands pour proclamer un roi, et tous ses princes seront anéantis.
13 and to ascend: rise citadel: fortress her thorn nettle and thistle in/on/with fortification her and to be pasture jackal abode to/for daughter ostrich
Les épines pousseront dans ses palais, les ronces et les chardons dans ses forteresses. Ce sera un repaire de chacals, et un parc pour les autruches.
14 and to meet wild beast [obj] wild beast and satyr upon neighbor his to call: call to surely there to rest night-creature and to find to/for her resting
Les chats et les chiens sauvages s’y rencontreront, et les satyres s’y appelleront les uns les autres. Là aussi le spectre des nuits fera sa demeure, et trouvera son lieu de repos.
15 there [to] to make a nest arrow snake and to escape and to break up/open and to gather in/on/with shadow her surely there to gather hawk woman: another neighbor her
Là le serpent fera son nid et pondra, couvera et réunira ses petits sous son ombre. Là aussi se rassembleront tous les vautours.
16 to seek from upon scroll: book LORD and to call: read out one from them not to lack woman: another neighbor her not to reckon: missing for lip my he/she/it to command and spirit his he/she/it to gather them
Cherchez dans le livre de Yahweh, et lisez: Pas un d’eux ne manque, ni l’un ni l’autre ne fait défaut. Car c’est la bouche de Yahweh qui l’a ordonné, et son souffle qui les a rassemblés.

C’est lui qui a jeté le sort pour eux, et sa main qui leur a partagé le pays au cordeau; à jamais ils le posséderont, d’âge en âge ils y habiteront.
