Ecclesiastes 9
1 for [obj] all this to give: put to(wards) heart my and to/for to explain [obj] all this which [the] righteous and [the] wise and work their in/on/with hand: power [the] God also love also hating nothing to know [the] man [the] all to/for face: before their
En effet, j’ai pris tout ceci à cœur, et j’ai observé tout ceci: Que les justes et les sages et leurs œuvres sont dans la main de Dieu; l’homme ne connaît ni l’amour, ni la haine: tout est devant eux.
2 [the] all like/as as which to/for all accident one to/for righteous and to/for wicked to/for pleasant (and to/for bad: evil *X*) and to/for pure and to/for unclean and to/for to sacrifice and to/for which nothing he to sacrifice like/as pleasant like/as to sin [the] to swear like/as as which oath afraid
Tout arrive également à tous: même sort pour le juste et pour le méchant, pour celui qui est bon et pur, et pour celui qui est impur, pour celui qui sacrifie et pour celui qui ne sacrifie pas. Comme il arrive à l’homme bon, il arrive au pécheur; il en est de celui qui jure comme de celui qui craint de jurer.

C’est un mal, parmi tout ce qui se fait sous le soleil, qu’il y ait pour tous un même sort; c’est pourquoi le cœur des fils de l’homme est plein de malice, et la folie est dans leur cœur pendant leur vie; après quoi ils vont chez les morts.

Car pour l’homme qui est parmi les vivants, il y a de l’espérance; mieux vaut un chien vivant qu’un lion mort.

Les vivants, en effet, savent qu’ils mourront, mais les morts ne savent rien, et il n’y a plus pour eux de salaire; car leur mémoire est oubliée.
6 also love their also hating their also jealousy their already to perish and portion nothing to/for them still to/for forever: enduring in/on/with all which to make: do underneath: under [the] sun
Déjà leur amour, leur haine, leur envie ont péri, et ils n’auront plus jamais aucune part à ce qui se fait sous le soleil.

Va, mange avec joie ton pain et bois ton vin d’un cœur content, puisque déjà Dieu se montre favorable à tes œuvres.
8 in/on/with all time to be garment your white and oil upon head your not to lack
Qu’en tout temps tes vêtements soient blancs, et que l’huile parfumée ne manque pas sur ta tête.
9 to see: enjoy life with woman: wife which to love: lover all day life vanity your which to give: give to/for you underneath: under [the] sun all day vanity your for he/she/it portion your in/on/with life and in/on/with trouble your which you(m. s.) laborious underneath: under [the] sun
Jouis de la vie avec une femme que tu aimes, pendant tous les jours de ta vie de vanité que Dieu t’a donnée sous le soleil, pendant tous les jours de ta vanité; car c’est ta part dans la vie et dans le travail que tu fais sous le soleil.
10 all which to find hand your to/for to make: do in/on/with strength your to make: do for nothing deed: work and explanation and knowledge and wisdom in/on/with hell: Sheol which you(m. s.) to go: went there [to] (Sheol h7585)
Tout ce que ta main peut faire, fais-le avec ta force; car il n’y a plus ni œuvre, ni intelligence, ni science, ni sagesse, dans le schéol où tu vas. (Sheol h7585)
11 to return: again and to see: see underneath: under [the] sun for not to/for swift [the] race and not to/for mighty man [the] battle and also not to/for wise food: bread and also not to/for to understand riches and also not to/for to know favor for time and chance to meet [obj] all their
Je me suis tourné et j’ai vu sous le soleil que la course n’est pas aux agiles, ni la guerre aux vaillants, ni le pain aux sages, ni la richesse aux intelligents, ni la faveur aux savants; car le temps et les accidents les atteignent tous.
12 for also not to know [the] man [obj] time his like/as fish which/that to grasp in/on/with net bad: evil and like/as bird [the] to grasp in/on/with snare like/as them to snare son: child [the] man to/for time bad: evil like/as which/that to fall: fall upon them suddenly
Car l’homme ne connaît même pas son heure, pareil aux poissons qui sont pris au filet fatal, pareil aux oiseaux qui sont pris au piège; comme eux les enfants des hommes sont enlacés au temps du malheur, quand il fond sur eux tout à coup.
13 also this to see: see wisdom underneath: under [the] sun and great: large he/she/it to(wards) me
J’ai encore vu sous le soleil ce trait de sagesse, et celle-ci m’a paru grande.
14 city small and human in/on/with her little and to come (in): come to(wards) her king great: large and to turn: surround [obj] her and to build upon her siegework great: large
Il y avait une petite ville, avec peu d’hommes dans ses murs; un roi puissant vint contre elle, l’investit, et bâtit contre elle de hautes tours.
15 and to find in/on/with her man poor wise and to escape he/she/it [obj] [the] city in/on/with wisdom his and man not to remember [obj] [the] man [the] poor ([the] he/she/it *L(abh)*)
Et il s’y trouva un homme pauvre et sage, qui sauva la ville par sa sagesse. Et personne ne s’est souvenu de cet homme pauvre.
16 and to say I pleasant wisdom from might and wisdom [the] poor to despise and word his nothing they to hear: hear
Et j’ai dit: « La sagesse vaut mieux que la force; mais la sagesse du pauvre est méprisée, et ses paroles ne sont pas écoutées. »
17 word wise in/on/with quietness to hear: hear from outcry to rule in/on/with fool
Les paroles des sages, prononcées avec calme, sont écoutées, mieux que les cris d’un chef au milieu des insensés.
18 pleasant wisdom from article/utensil battle and to sin one to perish welfare to multiply
La sagesse vaut mieux que des instruments de guerre; mais un seul pécheur peut détruire beaucoup de bien.
