Psalms 82

1 A psalm of Asaph God [is] taking his stand in [the] congregation of God in [the] midst of [the] gods he gives judgment.

مزمور آساف. خدا در دادگاه آسمانی ایستاده است تا قضات را به پای میز محاکمه بکشاند.

2 Until when? will you judge injustice and [the] face of wicked [people] will you lift up (Selah)

او به قضات این جهان می‌گوید: «تا به کی با بی‌انصافی قضاوت خواهید کرد؟ تا به کی از مجرمین جانبداری خواهید نمود؟

3 Give judgment for [the] poor and [the] fatherless [the] afflicted and [the] poor vindicate.

از حقوق بیچارگان و یتیمان دفاع کنید؛ به داد مظلومان و فقیران برسید.

4 Deliver [the] poor and [the] needy from [the] hand of wicked [people] rescue [them].

ستمدیدگان و درماندگان را از چنگ ظالمان برهانید.

5 Not they know - and not they understand in darkness they walk about they are shaken all [the] foundations of [the] earth.

«اما شما به حماقت رفتار می‌نمایید و در جهل و تاریکی زندگی می‌کنید، به همین جهت اساس اجتماع متزلزل است.

6 I I said [are] gods you and [are] [the] children of [the] Most High all of you.

«گفتم:”شما خدایانید؛ همۀ شما فرزندان خدای متعال هستید.

7 Nevertheless like humankind you will die! and like one of the princes you will fall.

اما شما مانند هر انسان دیگر خواهید مرد و همچون سایر رهبران خواهید افتاد.“»

8 Arise! O God judge! the earth for you you have an inheritance among all the nations.

ای خدا، برخیز و بر جهان داوری کن! زیرا تو همهٔ قومها را به تصرف در خواهی آورد.
