Proverbs 6
1 O son my if you have stood surety for fellow-citizen your you have struck for the stranger palms your.
Nwa m, ọ bụrụ na ị nara onye agbataobi gị nʼibe, ọ bụrụ na ị nara aka ị bụrụ onye ọbịa onye akaebe,
2 You have been ensnared by [the] words of mouth your you have been caught by [the] words of mouth your.
ị bụrụla onye mara nʼọnya site nʼihe ị kwuru, onye enwudere site nʼokwu ọnụ ya.
3 Do this then - O son my and deliver yourself for you have come in [the] palm of neighbor your go humble yourself and importune neighbor your.
Mee nke a, nwa m, si nʼime ya wepụ onwe gị; nʼihi na ịdabala nʼaka onye agbataobi gị: Jee ọsịịsọ weda onwe gị nʼala rịọọ ya enyekwala ya izuike ọbụla.
4 May not you give sleep to eyes your and slumber to eyelids your.
Ekwekwala ka ụra baa gị anya abụọ, ekwekwala ka mbụbara anya gị ruo ụra.
5 Deliver yourself like a gazelle from a hand and like a bird from [the] hand of a fowler.
Napụta onwe gị, dịka mgbada site nʼaka dinta, maọbụ dịka nnụnụ site nʼọnya osi ọnya.
6 Go to an ant O sluggard consider ways its and become wise.
Gaa mụta ihe site nʼaka ndanda, gị onye umengwụ. Mụta ihe site nʼụzọ ya niile.
7 Which not [belongs] to it [is] commander of icer and ruler.
Ọ bụ ezie na o nweghị eze na-achịkọta ha, maọbụ onyendu, maọbụ ọchịagha,
8 It prepares in the summer food its it gathers at the harvest food its.
ma ọ na-akpakọta nri ya nʼoge ọkọchị ma na-ewebata nri ya nʼoge owuwe ihe ubi.
9 Until when? O sluggard - will you lie down when? will you rise from sleep your.
Ọ bụ ruo ole mgbe ka ị ga-edina ala nʼebe ahụ, gị onye umengwụ? Olee mgbe ka ị ga-esi nʼụra bilie?
10 A little of sleep a little of slumber a little of - folding of hands to rest.
Nwa ụra nta, nwa iru ụra nta, nwa ịchịkọba aka nta zuo ike,
11 And it will come like a traveler poverty your and lack your like a man of shield.
ụbịam ga-abịakwasị gị dịka onye ohi, ụkọ abịakwasịkwa gị dịka onye na-apụnara mmadụ ihe.
12 A person of worthlessness a person of wickedness [is] walking crookedness of mouth.
Onye okwu na ụka na onye omume ya jọgburu onwe ya, onye na-ejegharị na-ekwu okwu aghụghọ,
13 [he is] winking (With eyes his *Q(K)*) [he is] scraping (with feet his *Q(K)*) [he is] pointing with fingers his.
onye ji iro na-egbu ikuanya ya, jiri ụkwụ ya na-ekwu okwu na mkpịsịaka ya na-egosi ihe.
14 Perverse things - [are] in heart his [he is] devising evil at every time (contentions *Q(K)*) he sends out.
Onye obi ya na-echepụta ihe ọjọọ na aghụghọ, onye na-akpalikwa esemokwu mgbe niile.
15 There-fore suddenly it will come disaster his an instant he will be broken and there not [will be] healing.
Nʼihi ya, mbibi ga-abịakwasị ya na mberede; nʼotu ntabi anya ka a ga-ebibi ya, apụghịkwa ịgwọta ya.
16 Six [things] those he hates Yahweh and [are] seven ([the] disgusting thing of *Q(K)*) self his.
Ọ dị ụzọ ihe isii Onyenwe anyị kpọrọ asị, e, ha dị asaa bụ ihe arụ nʼebe ọ nọ.
17 Eyes haughty a tongue of falsehood and hands [which] shed blood innocent.
Anya dị nganga, ire na-ekwu okwu ụgha, aka na-awụfu ọbara ndị na-emeghị ihe ọjọọ.
18 A heart [which] devises plans of wickedness feet [which] hurry to run to evil.
Obi na-echepụta nzube ọjọọ; ụkwụ na-eme ngwangwa ịgbaba nʼajọ ihe,
19 [who] he breathes out Lies a witness of falsehood and [one who] spreads contentions between brothers.
onyeama ụgha na-awụpụ ụgha dịka mmiri na onye na-agbasa esemokwu nʼetiti ụmụnna.
20 Keep O son my [the] commandment of father your and may not you forsake [the] instruction of mother your.
Nwa m, debe ihe nna gị nyere gị nʼiwu, ahapụkwala iwu nke nne gị.
21 Bind them on heart your continually tie them on necks your.
Ka ndụmọdụ ha dịrị gị nʼobi mgbe niile, ka ị ghara ichefu ha.
22 When walking about you - it will guide you when lying down you it will watch over you and you will awake it it will speak to you.
Mgbe ị na-ejegharị, ọ ga na-edu gị; mgbe ị na-arahụ ụra, ọ ga na-eche gị. Mgbe i tetakwara, ha ga-akpanyere gị ụka.
23 For [is] a lamp [the] commandment and [the] instruction [is] a light and [are] a way of life rebukes of discipline.
Nʼihi na iwu a bụ oriọna, Ihe ozizi a bụkwa ìhè, otu a kwa ịdọ aka na ntị na ịba mba bụ ụzọ ezi ndụ,
24 To keep you from a woman of evil from smoothness of tongue a foreign [woman].
idebe gị ka ị pụọ nʼebe nwunye onye agbataobi gị nọ, sitekwa nʼire ụtọ nke nwanyị ọjọọ.
25 May not you desire beauty her in heart your and may not she capture you with eyelids her.
Ekwela ka agụ nʼezighị ezi gụọ gị nʼime obi nʼihi ịma mma ya, ma ọ bụkwanụ ka o jiri ile anya ya rata gị.
26 For [the] price a woman a prostitute to a round loaf of bread and [the] wife of a man a life precious she hunts.
Nʼihi na nwanyị akwụna ka enwere ike iji otu ogbe achịcha nweta, ma nwunye nwoke ọzọ na-achụ nta ndụ gị ịla ya nʼiyi.
27 ¿ Will he snatch up a man fire in bosom his and garments his not will they be burned?
Mmadụ ọ pụrụ ịgụrụ ọkụ tụkwasị nʼahụ ya, ma uwe ya ereghị ọkụ?
28 Or? will he walk? a man on burning coals and feet his not will they be scorched.
Mmadụ ọ pụrụ ije ije nʼelu icheku ọkụ ma ụkwụ ya ahapụ igbuchapụ?
29 [is] thus The [one who] goes into [the] wife of neighbor his not he will go unpunished every [one who] touches her.
Otu a ka ọ na-adịrị nwoke na-abakwuru nwunye mmadụ ibe ya; o nweghị onye ọbụla na-emetụ ya aka nke a na-agaghị ata ahụhụ.
30 Not people despise the thief if he will steal to fill appetite his for he will be hungry.
Ndị mmadụ adịghị eleda onye ohi anya ma ọ bụrụ na o zuo ohi ka o were gboo mkpa agụụ nke na-agụsị ya ike.
31 And he will be found out he will make restitution sevenfold all [the] wealth of house his he will give.
Ma ọ bụrụ na ejide ya ọ ga-akwụghachi ụgwọ ihe niile ahụ o zuru okpukpu asaa. Nʼagbanyeghị na nke a ga-eme ka o ree ihe niile o ji biri nʼụlọ ya.
32 [one who] commits adultery A woman [is] lacking of heart [one who] destroys own self his he he will do it.
Ma nwoke ahụ na-akwa iko bụ onye nzuzu, amamihe kọrọ ya, nʼihi na ọ bụ onwe ya ka ọ na-ala nʼiyi.
33 A wound and shame he will find and reproach his not it will be wiped away.
A ga-eti ya ezi ihe otiti, a ga-elelikwa ya anya, ihere ya agaghị ekwe ihichapụ.
34 For jealousy [is the] rage of a man and not he will have compassion on a day of vengeance.
Nʼihi na di nwanyị ahụ ga-esite nʼekworo wee iwe dị ọkụ; ọ gakwaghị enwe obi ebere nʼebe ọ nọ nʼụbọchị ọ ga-abọ ọbọ.
35 Not he will lift up [the] face of any ransom and not he will be willing for you will make great a bribe.
Ọ gaghị anara ihe ọbụla nʼọnọdụ ihe nkwụghachi nʼihi ihe ọjọọ o mere ya. O nwekwaghị ihe a ga-enye ya pụrụ ime ka iwe ya dajụọ.
