Proverbs 6
1 O son my if you have stood surety for fellow-citizen your you have struck for the stranger palms your.
Fiam, ha kezes lettél felebarátodnál, tenyeredet összecsaptad az idegennél,
2 You have been ensnared by [the] words of mouth your you have been caught by [the] words of mouth your.
tőrbe jutottál szájad mondásai által, megfogattál szájad mondásai által:
3 Do this then - O son my and deliver yourself for you have come in [the] palm of neighbor your go humble yourself and importune neighbor your.
tedd ezt ugyan, fiam, hogy megmenekülj, minthogy felebarátod markába kerültél: menj, tiportasd magadat és ostromold felebarátodat;
4 May not you give sleep to eyes your and slumber to eyelids your.
ne engedj álmot szemeidnek, sem szendergést szempilláidnak;
5 Deliver yourself like a gazelle from a hand and like a bird from [the] hand of a fowler.
menekülj, mint szarvas a kézből, s mint a madár a madarász kezéből.
6 Go to an ant O sluggard consider ways its and become wise.
Menj a hangyához, rest, nézd útjait, hogy okulj:
7 Which not [belongs] to it [is] commander of icer and ruler.
ő, a kinek nincs vezére, felügyelője és uralkodója,
8 It prepares in the summer food its it gathers at the harvest food its.
elkészíti nyáron a kenyerét, összegyűjtötte aratáskor az eledelét.
9 Until when? O sluggard - will you lie down when? will you rise from sleep your.
Meddig, rest, fogsz feküdni, mikor kelsz fel álmodból?
10 A little of sleep a little of slumber a little of - folding of hands to rest.
Egy kis alvás, egy kis szendergés; egy kis kézösszekulcsolás, hogy feküdj:
11 And it will come like a traveler poverty your and lack your like a man of shield.
majd eljön, mint vándor, a te szegénységed és szűkölködésed, mint a pajzsos férfi.
12 A person of worthlessness a person of wickedness [is] walking crookedness of mouth.
Alávaló ember, jogtalan férfi, szájnak görbeségével jár,
13 [he is] winking (With eyes his *Q(K)*) [he is] scraping (with feet his *Q(K)*) [he is] pointing with fingers his.
hunyorgat szemeivel, kapargat lábaival, mutogat ujjaival;
14 Perverse things - [are] in heart his [he is] devising evil at every time (contentions *Q(K)*) he sends out.
ferdeség a szívében, rosszat kohol minden időben, viszályokat indít.
15 There-fore suddenly it will come disaster his an instant he will be broken and there not [will be] healing.
Azért hirtelen jön meg szerencsétlensége, rögtön megtöretik és nincsen gyógyulás.
16 Six [things] those he hates Yahweh and [are] seven ([the] disgusting thing of *Q(K)*) self his.
Hat dolog van, a mit gyűlöl az Örökkévaló és hét, a mi lelkének utálata:
17 Eyes haughty a tongue of falsehood and hands [which] shed blood innocent.
Fennhéjázó szemek, hazug nyelv, és ártatlan vért ontó kezek;
18 A heart [which] devises plans of wickedness feet [which] hurry to run to evil.
szív, mely jogtalan gondolatokat kohol, lábak, melyek futva sietnek a rosszra;
19 [who] he breathes out Lies a witness of falsehood and [one who] spreads contentions between brothers.
hazugságnak lehelője, hamis tanú, s a ki viszályokat indít testvérek közt.
20 Keep O son my [the] commandment of father your and may not you forsake [the] instruction of mother your.
Óvd meg, fiam, atyád parancsát és el ne hagyjad anyád tanítását;
21 Bind them on heart your continually tie them on necks your.
kösd azokat szívedre mindenkor, fűzd azokat nyakadra.
22 When walking about you - it will guide you when lying down you it will watch over you and you will awake it it will speak to you.
Mikor jársz, az vezetni fog téged, mikor lefekszel, őrködik feletted, s mikor felébredtél, az beszélget veled.
23 For [is] a lamp [the] commandment and [the] instruction [is] a light and [are] a way of life rebukes of discipline.
Mert mécses a parancs és a tan világosság, és élet útja az oktatásnak feddései.
24 To keep you from a woman of evil from smoothness of tongue a foreign [woman].
Hogy megőrizzen téged a rossz asszonytól, a simanyelvű idegen nőtől.
25 May not you desire beauty her in heart your and may not she capture you with eyelids her.
Ne kívánd meg szépségét szívedben, s el ne fogjon téged szempilláival.
26 For [the] price a woman a prostitute to a round loaf of bread and [the] wife of a man a life precious she hunts.
Mert parázna asszonyért egy czipó kenyérre jutsz, s férjes asszony a drága lelket vadássza.
27 ¿ Will he snatch up a man fire in bosom his and garments his not will they be burned?
Kaparhat-e valaki tüzet az ölében és ruhái el nem égnek,
28 Or? will he walk? a man on burning coals and feet his not will they be scorched.
avagy járhat-e valaki parázson és lábai meg nem perzselődnek?
29 [is] thus The [one who] goes into [the] wife of neighbor his not he will go unpunished every [one who] touches her.
Olyan az, a ki bemegy felebarátjának feleségéhez, nem marad büntetlenül, bárki hozzányúl.
30 Not people despise the thief if he will steal to fill appetite his for he will be hungry.
Nem gúnyolják a tolvajt, midőn lop, hogy kielégítse lelkét, midőn éhezik;
31 And he will be found out he will make restitution sevenfold all [the] wealth of house his he will give.
ha rajtakapják, hétszeresen fizet, házának egész vagyonát odaadja.
32 [one who] commits adultery A woman [is] lacking of heart [one who] destroys own self his he he will do it.
Ki házasságot tör asszonnyal, esztelen; a ki önmagát megrontja, az cselekszi ezt.
33 A wound and shame he will find and reproach his not it will be wiped away.
Kárt és szégyent talál, és gyalázata nem töröltetik el.
34 For jealousy [is the] rage of a man and not he will have compassion on a day of vengeance.
Mert féltékenység a férfiúnak dühe s nem kímél a bosszú napján,
35 Not he will lift up [the] face of any ransom and not he will be willing for you will make great a bribe.
nincs tekintettel semmi váltságra s nem enged, noha sokasítod az ajándékot.
