< Matthew 22 >
1 And answering Jesus again spoke in parables to them saying;
इसपै यीशु फेर उनतै उदाहरणां म्ह कहण लाग्या,
2 Has become like the kingdom of the heavens to a man a king who made a wedding feast for the son of him.
“सुर्ग का राज्य उस राजा की ढाळ सै, जिसनै अपणे बेट्टे का ब्याह करया।
3 And he sent the servants of him to call those invited to the wedding feast, and not they were willing to come.
अर उसनै अपणे नौकरां ताहीं भेज्या, के न्योंदे होड़ माणसां ताहीं ब्याह के जिमणे म्ह बुलावै; पर उननै आणा न्ही चाह्या।”
4 Again he sent other servants saying; do say to those invited; Behold the dinner of mine (I have prepared, *N(k)O*) the oxen of Mine and the fatlings killed, and all things [are] ready; come to the wedding feast.
“फेर उसनै और नौकरां ताहीं न्यू कहकै भेज्या, ‘न्योंदे होड़ माणसां ताहीं कहो देक्खों, मन्नै भोज त्यार कर लिया सै, अर मेरे बळध अर पळे होड़ डान्गर काट लिये सै: सारा कुछ त्यार सै; ब्याह के जिमणे म्ह आओ।’”
5 And having paid no attention they went away, (that [one] *N(k)O*) indeed to [his] own field, (that [one] *N(k)O*) however (to *N(k)O*) the business of him;
पर वे बेपरवाह होकै चले गये, कोए अपणे खेत्तां म्ह, कोए अपणे धन्धे पै।
6 And the rest having laid hold of the servants of him mistreated and killed [them].
और कई माणसां नै तो राजा के नौकरां ताहीं पकड़कै उनकी बेजती करी अर उन ताहीं मार दिया।
7 (and *o*) (having heard *k*) Now the king (that *k*) was angry, and having sent the armies of him he destroyed the murderers those and the city of them he burned.
जिब राजा नै यो सुण्या तो छो म्ह भरग्या, अर अपणी पलटन भेजकै उन हत्यारा का नाश करया, अर उनके नगर फूँक दिए।
8 Then he says to the servants of him; The indeed wedding feast ready is, those however invited not were worthy.
फेर राजा नै अपणे नौकरां तै कह्या, ब्याह का भोज तो त्यार सै, पर के न्योंदे होड़ माणस इस जोग्गे कोनी ठहरे।
9 do go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as (if *N(k)O*) you shall find, do invite to the wedding feast.
इस करकै चौराहयाँ पै जाओ, अर जितने माणस थमनै मिलै, सारया ताहीं ब्याह कै भोज म्ह बुला ल्याओ।
10 And having gone out the servants those into the highways they brought together all (as many as *N(k)O*) they found, evil both and good; and became full the (wedding hall *NK(O)*) of those reclining.
इस तरियां उसके नौकरां नै सड़कां पै जाकै के भुन्डे़, के आच्छे, जितने मिले सारया ताहीं कठ्ठा करया; ब्याह का घर मेहमानां तै भरग्या।
11 Having entered in then the king to see those reclining he saw there a man not being dressed himself in clothes of wedding
जिब राजा मेहमानां नै देखण भीत्त्तर आया, तो उसनै ओड़ै एक माणस ताहीं देख्या, जो ब्याह आळे लत्ते कोनी पहररया था।
12 and he says to him; Friend, how did you enter here not having garment of wedding? And he was speechless.
उसनै उसतै बुझ्झया, हे दोस्त, तू ब्याह म्ह पैहरे जाण आळे लत्ते पहरे बिना उरै क्यातै आ ग्या। उसका मुँह बन्द होग्या।
13 Then the king said to the servants; Having bound his feet and hands (do take and *KO*) do cast out him into the darkness outer; there will be the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth.
फेर राजा नै नौकरां तै कह्या, इसके हाथ-पैर जुड़कै उस ताहीं बाहरणै अन्धेरे म्ह गेर द्यो, ओड़ै रोणा, अर दाँत पिसणा होवैगा।
14 Many for are called, few however chosen.
“क्यूँके बुलाये होड़ तो घणे सै पर चुणे होए कम सै।”
15 Then having gone out the Pharisees counsel took how Him they may trap in His words.
फेर फरीसियाँ नै आकै आप्पस म्ह विचार करया, के उसनै किस ढाळ बात्तां म्ह फसावा।
16 And they send to Him the disciples of them with the Herodians (saying; *NK(o)*) Teacher, we know that true You are and the way of God in [the] truth You teach, and not there is care to You about no [one], not for You look on [the] appearance of men.
इस तरियां उननै अपणे चेल्यां ताहीं हेरोदेस राजा के समर्थकां कै गेल्या उसकै धोरै न्यू कहण नै भेज्या, “हे गुरु, हमनै बेरा सै, के तू साच्चा सै, अर परमेसवर की राह सच्चाई तै सिखावै सै; अर किसे की परवाह कोनी करदा, क्यूँके तू माणसां का मुँह देखकै बात कोनी करदा।
17 do tell therefore us what You think? Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar or not?
इस करकै हमनै बता तन्नै के समझ आवै सै? कैसर तै चुंगी देणा ठीक सै के न्ही।”
18 Having known however Jesus the malice of them He said; Why Me do you test, hypocrites?
यीशु नै उनका कपट जाणकै कह्या, “हे कपटियों, मन्नै क्यांतै परखो सो?
19 do show Me the coin of the tribute. And they presented to Him a denarius.
कर का सिक्का मेरै ताहीं दिखाओ।” फेर उसकै धोरै एक दीनार (एक दिन की मजदूरी) लियाये।
20 And He says to them; Of whom [is] likeness this And [of whom is] the inscription?
उसनै उनतै कह्या, “या छाप अर नाम किसका सै?”
21 They say to Him; Of Caesar. Then He says to them; do give back therefore the [things] of Caesar to Caesar and the [things] of God to God.
उननै उसतै कह्या, “कैसर का।” फेर उसनै उनतै कह्या, “जो कैसर का सै, वो कैसर ताहीं; अर जो परमेसवर का सै, वो परमेसवर ताहीं द्यो।”
22 And having heard they marveled, and having left Him they went away.
न्यू सुणकै उननै हैरानी होई, उस ताहीं छोड़कै चले ग्ये।
23 On that [very] day came to Him Sadducees (those *k*) saying not being a resurrection and they questioned Him
उस्से दिन सदूकी जो कहवै सै के मरे होया का दुबारा जिन्दा उठणा सै ए कोनी, उसकै धोरै आये अर उसतै बुझ्झया,
24 saying; Teacher, Moses said; If anyone shall die not having children, will marry the brother of him the wife of him and he will raise up offspring for the brother of him.
“हे गुरु, मूसा नबी नै कह्या था के जै कोए माणस बेऊलादा मर जावै, तो उसका भाई उसकी घरआळी तै ब्याह करकै अपणे भाई कै खात्तर पीढ़ी पैदा करै।
25 There were now among us seven brothers. and the first having married died, and not having seed he left the wife of him to the brother of him;
इब म्हारै उरै सात भाई थे; पैहल्ड़ा ब्याह करकै मरग्या, अर ऊलाद ना होण कै कारण अपणी घरआळी अपणे भाई कै खात्तर छोड़ ग्या।
26 Likewise also the second and the third until the seventh.
इस्से तरियां दुसरे अर तीसरे नै भी करया, अर सातुवां तक योए होया।
27 Finally then of all died (and *ko*) the woman.
सारया पाच्छै वा बिरबान्नी भी मरगी।
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven will she be wife? All for had her.
आखर म्ह जिन्दा होण पै वा सातुवां म्ह तै किसकी घरआळी होवैगी? क्यूँके वा सारया की घरआळी बण ली थी।”
29 Answering now Jesus said to them; You err not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.
यीशु नै उनतै जवाब दिया, “थारी गलती या सै के थम पवित्र ग्रन्थ अर परमेसवर की सामर्थ नै न्ही जाणते।
30 In for the resurrection neither do they marry nor (are given in marriage *N(k)O*) but like angels (*K*) (of God *KO*) in (*no*) heaven they are.
क्यूँके मरकै जिन्दा हो जाणकै बाद ब्याह शादी कोनी होन्दी, पर सुर्ग म्ह परमेसवर के सुर्गदूत्तां की ढाळ होवैगें।
31 Concerning now the resurrection of the dead surely you have read that which has been spoken to you by God saying;
पर मरकै जिन्दा हो जाणकै बाबत के थमनै यो वचन कोनी पढ़्या जो परमेसवर नै थारे तै कह्या
32 I myself am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob?’ Not He is the God (God *k*) of [the] dead but of [the] living.
‘मै अब्राहम का परमेसवर, अर इसहाक का परमेसवर, याकूब का परमेसवर सूं’? वो मरे होया का न्ही, पर जिन्दा का परमेसवर सै।”
33 And having heard the crowds were astonished at the teaching of Him.
न्यू सुणकै माणस उसके उपदेश तै हैरान होए।
34 And the Pharisees having heard that He had silenced the Sadducees were gathered together the same.
जिब फरीसियाँ नै सुण्या के यीशु नै सदूकियाँ का मुँह बन्द कर दिया, तो वे कठ्ठे होए।
35 And questioned [Him] one of them a lawyer testing Him (and saying: *k*)
शास्त्री समाज के माणसां म्ह तै एक नै उस ताहीं परखण कै खात्तर उसतै बुझ्झया,
36 Teacher, which commandment [is the] greatest in the law?
“हे गुरु, नियम-कायदा म्ह कौण सा हुकम बड्ड़ा सै?”
37 And (Jesus *k*) (was saying *N(k)O*) to him; You will love [the] Lord the God of you with all the heart of you and with all the soul of you and with all the mind of you.’
यीशु नै उसतै कह्या, “तू परमेसवर अपणे प्रभु तै अपणे पूरे मन अर अपणे सारे प्राण अर अपणी सारी बुद्धि के साथ प्यार राख।
38 This is (the *no*) great and first commandment.
पैहला अर बड्ड़ा हुकम तो योए सै।
39 [The] second also [is] like (to it: *NK(o)*) You will love the neighbour of you as yourself.’
अर उस्से जिसा यो दुसरा भी सै के तू अपणे पड़ोसी तै अपणे जिसा प्यार राख।
40 On these two commandments all the law (hangs *N(k)O*) and the Prophets.
ये दो हुकम सारे नियम-कायदे अर नबियाँ का निचोड़ (आधार) सै।”
41 When were assembled now the Pharisees questioned them Jesus
जिब फरीसी कठ्ठे थे, तो यीशु नै उनतै बुझया,
42 saying; What you think concerning the Christ? Of whom son is He? They say to Him; Of David.
“मसीह कै बारै म्ह थम के सोच्चो सो? वो किसका बेट्टा सै?” उननै यीशु तै कह्या, “दाऊद का।”
43 He says to them; How then David in spirit does call Him Lord saying:
यीशु नै उनतै बुझया, “तो दाऊद आत्मा म्ह होकै उसनै प्रभु क्यांतै कहवै सै?”
44 Said (the *k*) Lord to the Lord of me; do sit on [the] right hand of Me until when I may place the enemies of You ([as] a footstool *N(k)O*) for the feet of You?
“‘प्रभु नै, मेरै प्रभु तै कह्या, मेरै सोळे कान्ही बैठ, जिब ताहीं के मै तेरे बैरियाँ ताहीं तेरे पायां म्ह ना झुका दियुँ।’”
45 If therefore David calls Him Lord, how son of him is He?
“भला, जिब दाऊद उसनै प्रभु कहवै सै, तो वो उसका बेट्टा किस ढाळ होया?”
46 And no [one] was able to answer Him a word nor dared anyone from that [very] day to question Him no longer. no longer.
उसके जवाब म्ह कोए भी एक बात न्ही कह सक्या। पर उस दिन तै दुबारै उसतै कीमे और बुझ्झण की हिम्मत कोनी करी।
