< Matthew 17 >
1 And after days six takes with [Him] Jesus Peter and James and John the brother of him and brings up them into a mountain high on [their] own.
Choi din pichete Jisu tai logote Peter, James aru tai laga bhai John ke loise, aru taikhan nijor pora ekta untcha pahar uporte jaise.
2 And He was transfigured before them, and shone the face of Him like the sun, and the clothes of Him (he became *NK(o)*) white as the light.
Aru Jisu nijorke taikhan age te alag ekjon kori kene dikhaise. Tai laga chehera suryo nisena ujala dikhaise, aru Tai laga kapra khan puhor nisena boga hoi jaise.
3 And behold (it appeared *N(k)O*) to them Moses and Elijah talking with Him.
Sabi, ta te taikhan logote Moses aru Elijah ulaikene Jisu logote kotha kori thakise.
4 Answering now Peter said to Jesus; Lord, good it is for us here to be. If You wish, (I will make *N(K)O*) here three tabernacles, for You one and for Moses one and for Elijah one.
Peter jowab dikene Jisu ke koise, “Probhu, amikhan yate thaka to bhal ase naki. Apuni itcha ase koile, Moi etu jagate aram kori bole chaat bonabo- ekta Apuni nimite, aru ekta Moses nimite, aru ekta Elijah nimite.”
5 While yet when he is speaking behold a cloud bright overshadowed them, and behold a voice out of the cloud saying; This is the Son of Mine the beloved in whom I am well pleased; do listen to Him.
Jitia tai kotha kori thakise, sabi, ekta ujala badal taikhan ke bondh kori dise, aru etu badal pora ekta awaj ulaikena eneka koise, “Etu Moi laga bisi morom Putro ase, jun uporte moi bisi khushi ase. Tai laga kotha huni bhi.”
6 And having heard [it] the disciples fell upon face of them and were terrified greatly.
Jitia tinjon chela khan etu hunise, taikhan bisi bhoi kori kene matite girise aru nijor chehera mati phale saise.
7 And (he came *N(k)O*) Jesus, and (having touched *N(k)O*) them He said; do rise up and not do be afraid.
Etu pichete Jisu ahise aru taikhan ke chui kene koise, “Uthibi aru bhoi na koribi.”
8 Having lifted up and the eyes of them no [one] they saw only except (Himself *N(k)O*) Jesus alone.
Etu pichete taikhan suku uthaikene saise, kintu taikhan khali Jisu he nohoile dusra kunke bhi dikha nai.
9 And when are descending they (from *N(k)O*) the mountain instructed them Jesus saying; To no one shall tell the vision until that the Son of Man out from [the] dead (may be risen. *N(k)O*)
Taikhan jitia pahar upor pora nami ahi thakise, Jisu taikhan ke hukum dise, eneka koi kene, “Etu laga sapna kunke bhi nakobi jitia tak Manu laga Putro mora pora arubi jinda nohoi jai.”
10 And asked Him the disciples (of him *ko*) saying; Why then the scribes say that Elijah it behooves to come first?
Tai laga chela khan Taike eneka koi kene hudise, “Tenehoile kele kunba niyom likha manu khan Elijah he poila ahibo lage koi?”
11 And (Jesus *k*) answering He said (to them: *k*) Elijah indeed comes (first *K*) and will restore all things;
Jisu taikhan ke jowab dikene koise, “Elijah hosa pora bhi ahibo aru sob to thik kori dibo.
12 I say however to you that Elijah already is come, and not they knew him but did to him as much as they desired; Thus also the Son of Man is about to suffer from them.
Kintu Moi tumikhan ke koi ase, Elijah to poila pora ahi jaise, kintu taikhan taike chini bole para nai. Ulta, tai uporte ki kori bole itcha thakise taikhan etu kori dise. Thik eneka he, Manu Laga Putro bhi taikhan laga hathte bisi dukh pabo.”
13 Then understood the disciples that concerning John the Baptist He spoke to them.
Titia he chela khan bujise Tai John Baptizma laga kotha taikhan ke kori thakise koi kene.
14 And when were coming (they *k*) to the crowd came to Him a man kneeling down ([to] Him *N(k)O*) and saying;
Jitia taikhan manu joma hoi thaka jagate ahise, ekjon manu Tai usorte ahise, Tai age te athukari se,
15 Lord, do have mercy on my son, for he is epileptic and miserably (suffers; *NK(O)*) often for he falls into the fire and often into the water.
aru koise, “Probhu, moi laga chokra uporte daya koribi, kele koile tai pagla hoi kene ase, aru bisi dukh pai ase. Kilekoile tai khali jui uporte giri thake, aru khali panite ghusi thake.
16 And I brought him to the disciples of You, and not they were able him to heal.
Moi taike Apuni laga chela khan usorte ani sele, kintu taikhan bhal kori bole para nai.”
17 Answering now Jesus said; O generation unbelieving and perverted, until when with you will I be? Until when will I bear with you? do bring to Me him here.
Jisu jowab dikene koise, “Biswas nathaka aru biya jamana laga manu khan, aru kiman deri nimite Moi tumikhan logote thakibo lagibo? Kiman deri tumikhan ke dhorjo koribo? Taike Moi laga samne te anibi.”
18 And rebuked him Jesus, and went out from him the demon, and was healed the boy from the hour that.
Jisu pora bhoot atma ke khedai dise, aru etu atma tai laga gaw pora ulai jaise, aru utu somoite etu chokra to bhal hoi jaise.
19 Then having come the disciples to Jesus in private they said; Because of why we ourselves not were able to cast out it?
Etu pichete Jisu laga chela khan lukai kene Taike koise, “Kile amikhan bhoot ke kheda bole para nai?”
20 And (Jesus *k*) (spoke *N(k)O*) to them; Because of the (little faith *N(K)O*) of you. Amen for I say to you; If you shall have faith as a seed of mustard, you will say to the mountain to this; do move (from here *N(k)O*) to there, and it will move; And no [thing] will be impossible for you.
Jisu taikhan ke koise, “Kile mane tumikhan laga biswas komti thaka nimite. Moi hosa pora tumikhan ke koi ase, jodi tumikhan sorso dana nisena hoilebi biswas thakile, tumikhan etu pahar ke kobo, ‘Yate pora hati kene ta te jabi,’ aru etu hati jabo, aru tumikhan nimite eku bhi napara kaam nohobo.
21 (this now kind not goes out only except with prayer and with fastings. *KO*)
Kintu eitu khan sob to, prathana aru upwas pora nohoile dusra eku pora na paribo.”
22 (When are abiding *N(K)O*) now they in Galilee said to them Jesus; Is about the Son of Man to be betrayed into [the] hands of men,
Jitia taikhan Galilee te thakise, Jisu Tai laga chela khan ke koise, “Manu laga Putro ke manu khan laga hath di dibo,
23 and they will kill Him, and on the third day He will be raised up. And they were grieved deeply.
aru taikhan pora Taike morai dibo, aru tin dinte Taike mora pora uthai dibo.” Etu huni kene chela khan bisi mon dukh hoise.
24 When are coming now they to Capernaum came those the didrachmas collecting to Peter and said; The Teacher of you surely he pays the didrachmas?
Jitia taikhan Capernaum jagate punchise, ekjon manu jun dui taka chandi poisa utha manu Peter usorte ahise aru koise, “Apnikhan laga Shika manu to dui taka chandi poisa to diye na nai?”
25 He says; Yes. And (when *k*) (he having entered *N(k)O*) into the house anticipated him Jesus saying; What you do think, Simon? The kings of the earth from whom do they receive custom or tribute? From the sons of them or from strangers?
Tai koise, “Hoi.” Jitia Peter ghor te ghusi loise, Jisu taike poila kotha korise, eneka koi kene, “Tumi ki bhabe, Simon? Kun logot pora prithibi laga raja khan poisa uthai? Taikhan laga bacha khan pora na dusra khan pora?”
26 (When saying *N(k)O*) (now *no*) (he, Peter *k*) From the strangers, one was saying to him Jesus; Then surely free are the sons.
Jitia tai koise, “Dusra khan pora,” Jisu taike koise, “Tinehoile bacha khan nimite ene to eku daam nai.”
27 That however not we may offend them, having gone to (*k*) sea do cast a hook and the (having raised *NK(o)*) first fish do take; and having opened the mouth of it you will find a four-drachma coin. That [which] having taken do give to them for Me and yourself.
Kintu amikhan nimite poisa utha manu ke paap koribo nadibo, etu nimite nodi te jabi, ekta maas dhura kata phelabi aru juntu maas ke poila pai etu ke loi kene anibi. Jitia tumi maas laga mukh khuli loi, ta te charta chandi pabo. Lobi aru jai kene poisa utha manu ke tumi aru Ami nimite bhi dibi.”
