Leviticus 21
1 And he said Yahweh to Moses say to the priests [the] sons of Aaron and you will say to them for a corpse not he will make himself unclean among kinspeople his.
L’Éternel dit à Moïse: Parle aux sacrificateurs, fils d’Aaron, et tu leur diras: Un sacrificateur ne se rendra point impur parmi son peuple pour un mort,
2 That except for relative his near to him for mother his and for father his and for son his and for daughter his and for brother his.
excepté pour ses plus proches parents, pour sa mère, pour son père, pour son fils, pour son frère,
3 And for sister his the virgin near to him who not she has belonged to a husband for her he will make himself unclean.
et aussi pour sa sœur encore vierge, qui le touche de près lorsqu’elle n’est pas mariée.
4 Not he will make himself unclean a husband among kinspeople his to profane himself.
Chef parmi son peuple, il ne se rendra point impur en se profanant.
5 Not (they will make bald *Q(k)*) baldness on head their and [the] side of beard their not they will shave and in flesh their not they will cut cut[s].
Les sacrificateurs ne se feront point de place chauve sur la tête, ils ne raseront point les coins de leur barbe, et ils ne feront point d’incisions dans leur chair.
6 Holy they will be to God their and not they will profane [the] name of God their for [the] fire offerings of Yahweh [the] food of God their they [are] presenting and they will be a holy thing.
Ils seront saints pour leur Dieu, et ils ne profaneront pas le nom de leur Dieu; car ils offrent à l’Éternel les sacrifices consumés par le feu, l’aliment de leur Dieu: ils seront saints.
7 A woman a prostitute and a [woman] profaned not they will take and a woman divorced from husband her not they will take for [is] holy he to God his.
Ils ne prendront point une femme prostituée ou déshonorée, ils ne prendront point une femme répudiée par son mari, car ils sont saints pour leur Dieu.
8 And you will set apart as holy him for [the] food of God your he [is] presenting holy he will be to you for [am] holy I Yahweh [who] sets apart as holy you.
Tu regarderas un sacrificateur comme saint, car il offre l’aliment de ton Dieu; il sera saint pour toi, car je suis saint, moi, l’Éternel, qui vous sanctifie.
9 And a daughter of a man a priest if she will profane herself by acting as a prostitute father her she [is] profaning with fire she will be burned.
Si la fille d’un sacrificateur se déshonore en se prostituant, elle déshonore son père: elle sera brûlée au feu.
10 And the priest great more than brothers his whom it was poured on head his - [the] oil of anointing and he has filled hand his to wear the garments head his not he will let loose and garments his not he will tear.
Le sacrificateur qui a la supériorité sur ses frères, sur la tête duquel a été répandue l’huile d’onction, et qui a été consacré et revêtu des vêtements sacrés, ne découvrira point sa tête et ne déchirera point ses vêtements.
11 And to any corpses of a dead [person] not he will go for father his and for mother his not he will make himself unclean.
Il n’ira vers aucun mort, il ne se rendra point impur, ni pour son père, ni pour sa mère.
12 And from the sanctuary not he will go out and not he will profane [the] sanctuary of God his for [the] consecration of [the] oil of anointing of God his [is] on him I [am] Yahweh.
Il ne sortira point du sanctuaire, et ne profanera point le sanctuaire de son Dieu; car l’huile d’onction de son Dieu est une couronne sur lui. Je suis l’Éternel.
13 And he a woman in virginiti her he will take.
Il prendra pour femme une vierge.
14 A widow and a divorced [woman] and a [woman] profaned a prostitute these not he will take that except a virgin from kinspeople his he will take a wife.
Il ne prendra ni une veuve, ni une femme répudiée, ni une femme déshonorée ou prostituée; mais il prendra pour femme une vierge parmi son peuple.
15 And not he will profane offspring his among kinspeople his for I [am] Yahweh [who] sets apart as holy him.
Il ne déshonorera point sa postérité parmi son peuple; car je suis l’Éternel, qui le sanctifie.
16 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
L’Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit:
17 Speak to Aaron saying a man from offspring your to generations their whom it will be in him a blemish not he will draw near to present [the] food of God his.
Parle à Aaron, et dis: Tout homme de ta race et parmi tes descendants, qui aura un défaut corporel, ne s’approchera point pour offrir l’aliment de son Dieu.
18 For any man whom [is] in him a blemish not he will draw near a man blind or lame or [having] a slit nose or [having] something enlarged.
Tout homme qui aura un défaut corporel ne pourra s’approcher: un homme aveugle, boiteux, ayant le nez camus ou un membre allongé;
19 Or a man whom it will be in him a fracture of a foot or a fracture of a hand.
un homme ayant une fracture au pied ou à la main;
20 Or a [man] hunchbacked or a [man] thin or a defect in eye his or eczema or scabs or a [man] crushed of testicle.
un homme bossu ou grêle, ayant une tache à l’œil, la gale, une dartre, ou les testicules écrasés.
21 Any man whom [is] in him a blemish from [the] offspring of Aaron the priest not he will draw near to present [the] fire offerings of Yahweh a blemish [is] in him [the] food of God his not he will draw near to present.
Tout homme de la race du sacrificateur Aaron, qui aura un défaut corporel, ne s’approchera point pour offrir à l’Éternel les sacrifices consumés par le feu; il a un défaut corporel: il ne s’approchera point pour offrir l’aliment de son Dieu.
22 [the] food of God his from [the] holy things of the holy things and from the holy things he will eat.
Il pourra manger l’aliment de son Dieu, des choses très saintes et des choses saintes.
23 Nevertheless to the curtain not he will go and to the altar not he will draw near for a blemish [is] in him and not he will profane sanctuary my for I [am] Yahweh [who] sets apart as holy them.
Mais il n’ira point vers le voile, et il ne s’approchera point de l’autel, car il a un défaut corporel; il ne profanera point mes sanctuaires, car je suis l’Éternel, qui les sanctifie.
24 And he spoke Moses to Aaron and to sons his and to all [the] people of Israel.
C’est ainsi que parla Moïse à Aaron et à ses fils, et à tous les enfants d’Israël.
