Genesis 12
1 And he said Yahweh to Abram go for yourself from land your and from kindred your and from [the] household of father your to the land which I will show you.
I PAN powiedział do Abrama: Wyjdź z twojej ziemi i od twojej rodziny, i z domu twego ojca do ziemi, którą ci pokażę.
2 So I may make you into a nation great and I will bless you and I will make great name your and you be a blessing.
A uczynię z ciebie wielki naród, będę ci błogosławił i rozsławię twoje imię, i będziesz błogosławieństwem.
3 So let me bless [those who] bless you and [one who] disdains you I will curse and they will be blessed by you all [the] clans of the earth.
I będę błogosławił tym, którzy tobie będą błogosławić; a tych, którzy przeklinają ciebie, będę przeklinać. W tobie będą błogosławione wszystkie narody ziemi.
4 And he went Abram just as he had said to him Yahweh and he went with him Lot and Abram [was] a son of five years and seventy year[s] when came out he from Haran.
Wyszedł więc Abram, jak mu PAN rozkazał, poszedł z nim też Lot. Abram miał siedemdziesiąt pięć lat, gdy wyszedł z Charanu.
5 And he took Abram Sarai wife his and Lot [the] son of brother his and all possession[s] their which they had accumulated and the person[s] whom they had acquired in Haran and they went out to go [the] land of towards Canaan and they came [the] land of towards Canaan.
I Abram wziął swoją żonę Saraj, Lota, syna brata swego, i cały dobytek, który zgromadzili, i dusze, które nabyli w Charanie, i wyszli, aby udać się do ziemi Kanaan; i przybyli do ziemi Kanaan.
6 And he passed Abram in the land to [the] place of Shechem to [the] great tree of Moreh and the Canaanite[s] then [was] in the land.
Abram przeszedł tę ziemię aż do miejsca Sychem, do równiny More. Na tej ziemi [byli] wówczas Kananejczycy.
7 And he appeared Yahweh to Abram and he said to offspring your I will give the land this and he built there an altar to Yahweh who had appeared to him.
I PAN ukazał się Abramowi, i powiedział: Twemu potomstwu dam tę ziemię. I [Abram] zbudował tam ołtarz dla PANA, który mu się ukazał.
8 And he moved on from there the hill country towards from [the] east of Beth-el and he pitched (tent his *Q(K)*) Beth-el [was] from [the] west and Ai [was] from [the] east and he built there an altar to Yahweh and he called on [the] name of Yahweh.
A stamtąd przeniósł się do góry na wschód od Betel i tam rozbił swój namiot [między] Betel od zachodu i Aj od wschodu. Tam również zbudował ołtarz dla PANA i wzywał imienia PANA.
9 And he journeyed Abram going and journeying the south towards.
Potem Abram wyruszył, idąc ku południu.
10 And it was a famine in the land and he went down Abram Egypt towards to sojourn there for [was] heavy the famine in the land.
A nastał głód na [tej] ziemi. Abram zstąpił więc do Egiptu, aby tam gościć; ciężki bowiem był głód na ziemi.
11 And it was just as he drew near to enter Egypt and he said to Sarai wife his here! please I know that [are] a woman beautiful of appearance you.
A gdy zbliżał się do Egiptu, powiedział do swej żony Saraj: Oto wiem, że jesteś piękną kobietą.
12 And it will be that they will see you the Egyptians and they will say [is] wife his this and they will kill me and you they will let live.
Gdy Egipcjanie cię zobaczą, powiedzą: To jego żona; i zabiją mnie, a ciebie zostawią przy życiu.
13 Say please [are] sister my you so that it may go well for me for sake of you and it will live life my on account of you.
Mów, proszę, [że] jesteś moją siostrą, aby mi się dobrze wiodło ze względu na ciebie i abym dzięki tobie pozostał przy życiu.
14 And it was when entered Abram Egypt and they saw the Egyptians the woman that [was] beautiful she very.
Gdy Abram wszedł do Egiptu, Egipcjanie zobaczyli, że ta kobieta jest bardzo piękna.
15 And they saw her [the] officials of Pharaoh and they praised her to Pharaoh and she was taken the woman [the] house of Pharaoh.
Ujrzeli ją też dostojnicy faraona i chwalili ją przed nim. I zabrano tę kobietę do domu faraona.
16 And to Abram he did good for sake of her and it be[longed] to him sheep and cattle and [male] donkeys and [male] servants and female servants and female donkeys and camels.
Ten dobrze traktował Abrama ze względu na nią. [Abram] miał więc owce, woły, osły, służących i służące, oślice i wielbłądy.
17 And he struck Yahweh - Pharaoh plagues great and house his on [the] matter of Sarai [the] wife of Abram.
PAN jednak dotknął faraona i jego dom wielkimi plagami z powodu Saraj, żony Abrama.
18 And he summoned Pharaoh Abram and he said what? this have you done to me why? not did you tell to me that [was] wife your she.
Faraon wezwał więc Abrama i powiedział: Coś ty mi zrobił? Czemu mi nie powiedziałeś, że ona jest twoją żoną?
19 Why? did you say [is] sister my she and I took her for myself to a wife and now here! wife your take [her] and go.
Dlaczego mówiłeś: Ona jest moją siostrą, tak że mogłem ją wziąć sobie za żonę? A teraz – oto twoja żona, weź [ją] i idź.
20 And he commanded on him Pharaoh men and they sent away him and wife his and all that [belonged] to him.
I faraon rozkazał o nim swoim ludziom, i odprawili go wraz z żoną i wszystkim, co [było] jego.
