2 Kings 24
1 In days his he came up Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon and he was of him Jehoiakim a subject three years and he turned back and he rebelled against him.
En ce temps-là, Nabuchodonosor, roi de Babylone, vint, et Joacin lui fut asservi trois ans; ensuite il changea de pensée, et il refusa de lui obéir.
2 And he sent Yahweh - on him [the] marauding bands of [the] Chaldeans and [the] marauding bands of Aram and - [the] marauding bands of Moab and [the] marauding bands of [the] people of Ammon and he sent them on Judah to destroy it according to [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken by [the] hand of servants his the prophets.
Alors, le Seigneur envoya contre lui des bandes de la Chaldée, de la Syrie, de Moab et des fils d'Ammon; il les envoya en la terre de Juda pour prévaloir sur elle, selon la parole que le Seigneur avait dite par la voix de ses serviteurs les prophètes;
3 Surely - on [the] mouth of Yahweh it happened in Judah to remove [it] from on face his for [the] sins of Manasseh according to all that he had done.
De plus, la colère du Seigneur contre Juda voulait l'expulser de devant sa face à cause des péchés de Manassé, et de tout ce qu'avait fait ce roi;
4 And also [the] blood of the innocent which he had shed and he filled Jerusalem blood innocent and not he was willing Yahweh to forgive.
Car il avait versé le sang innocent, il en avait rempli Jérusalem; et le Seigneur ne voulait point s'apaiser.
5 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehoiakim and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Quant au reste de l'histoire de Joacin, n'est-il pas écrit au livre des Faits et gestes des rois de Juda?
6 And he lay down Jehoiakim with ancestors his and he became king Jehoiachin son his in place of him.
Et Joacin s'endormit avec ses pères, et son fils Joachim, régna à sa place.
7 And not he repeated again [the] king of Egypt to come out from own land his for he had taken [the] king of Babylon from [the] wadi of Egypt to [the] river of Euphrates all that it had belonged to [the] king of Egypt.
Et le roi d'Égypte ne sortit plus de sa contrée, parce que, depuis le torrent d'Égypte jusqu'à l'Euphrate, le roi de Babylone avait pris tout ce qui appartenait à l'Égyptien.
8 [was] a son of Eight-teen year[s] Jehoiachin when became king he and three months he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Nehushta [the] daughter of Elnathan from Jerusalem.
Joachim avait dix-huit ans quand il monta sur le trône, et il régna trois mois à Jérusalem; sa mère se nommait Nestha, fille d'Ellanastham, de Jérusalem.
9 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done father his.
Et il fit le mal devant le Seigneur, comme avait fait son père.
10 At the time that (they went up *Q(K)*) [the] servants of Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon Jerusalem and it came the city in state of siege.
En ce temps-là, Nabuchodonosor, roi de Babylone, marcha sur Jérusalem, et la ville fut investie.
11 And he came Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon to the city and servants his [were] laying siege on it.
Et Nabuchodonosor mit le siège devant la ville, et ses serviteurs la tinrent assiégée.
12 And he went out Jehoiachin [the] king of Judah to [the] king of Babylon he and mother his and servants his and officials his and court-officials his and he took him [the] king of Babylon in year eight of reigning his.
Or, Joachim, roi de Juda, se rendit au roi de Babylone, lui, ses serviteurs, sa mère, ses chefs et ses eunuques; le roi de Babylone le fit captif en la huitième année de son règne.
13 And he brought out from there all [the] treasures of [the] house of Yahweh and [the] treasures of [the] house of the king and he cut up all [the] articles of gold which he had made Solomon [the] king of Israel for [the] temple of Yahweh just as he had spoken Yahweh.
Et il enleva de Jérusalem tous les trésors du temple du Seigneur et tous les trésors du palais du roi; il brisa tous les vaisseaux d'or qu'avait faits, dans le temple, le roi Salomon, selon la parole du Seigneur.
14 And he took into exile all Jerusalem and all the officials and - all [the] mighty [men] of strength (ten *Q(K)*) thousand exile[s] and every craftsman and smith not anyone was left except [the] poor people of [the] people of the land.
Et il emmena en captivité, au nombre de dix mille, tous les chefs, tous les hommes vaillants, et en outre tous les charpentiers et tous les maçons; il ne resta dans la terre que les indigents.
15 And he took into exile Jehoiachin Babylon towards and [the] mother of the king and [the] wives of the king and court-officials his and ([the] leaders of *Q(K)*) the land he led away exile[s] from Jerusalem Babylon towards.
Il transporta aussi à Babylone, Joachim, la mère du roi, les femmes du roi et ses eunuques; il conduisit tous les riches de la terre de Jérusalem à Babylone,
16 And all [the] men of strength seven thousand and the craftsman and the smith one thousand everyone warriors makers of war and he brought them [the] king of Babylon exile[s] Babylon towards.
Et tous les hommes dans la force de l'âge au nombre de soixante-dix mille, et mille charpentiers ou maçons, tous faisant la guerre. Le roi Nabuchodonosor les emmena captifs à Babylone.
17 And he made king [the] king of Babylon Mattaniah uncle his in place of him and he changed name his Zedekiah.
Et il remplaça Joachim par Batthanias, fils de Josias, et il donna à ce roi le nom de Sédécias.
18 [was] a son of Twenty and one year[s] Zedekiah when became king he and one [plus] ten year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his ([was] Hamutal *Q(K)*) [the] daughter of Jeremiah from Libnah.
Sédécias avait vingt-neuf ans quand il monta sur le trône, et il régna onze ans à Jérusalem; le nom de sa mère était Amital, fille de Jérémie.
19 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Jehoiakim.
Et il fit le mal devant le Seigneur, comme avait fait Joacin;
20 For - on [the] anger of Yahweh it happened in Jerusalem and in Judah until threw he them from on face his and he rebelled Zedekiah against [the] king of Babylon.
Car, telle était la pensée du Seigneur contre Jérusalem et contre Juda, jusqu'à ce qu'il les eut expulsés de devant sa face. Or, Sédécias se révolta contre le roi de Babylone.
