2 Chronicles 5
1 And it was complete all the work which he had done Solomon for [the] house of Yahweh. And he brought Solomon [the] holy things of - David father his and the silver and the gold and all the articles he put in [the] treasuries of [the] house of God.
Sa-lô-môn hoàn tất các chương trình kiến thiết Đền Thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu. Vua đem các bảo vật mà cha vua là Đa-vít đã biệt riêng—gồm bạc, vàng, và các khí dụng cất vào kho tàng Đền Thờ của Đức Chúa Trời.
2 Then he called together Solomon [the] elders of Israel and all [the] chiefs of the tribes [the] leaders of the fathers of [the] people of Israel to Jerusalem to bring up [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh from [the] city of David it [is] Zion.
Sa-lô-môn triệu tập về Giê-ru-sa-lem các trưởng lão Ít-ra-ên, các trưởng đại tộc, và các trưởng tộc của Ít-ra-ên. Họ rước Hòm Giao Ước của Chúa Hằng Hữu từ Si-ôn, Thành Đa-vít, lên Đền Thờ.
3 And they assembled to the king every person of Israel at the festival it [was] the month seventh.
Tất cả người nam của Ít-ra-ên đều tập họp quanh cung vua để cử hành đại lễ vào tháng mười đúng vào dịp Lễ Đền Tạm hằng năm.
4 And they came all [the] elders of Israel and they lifted the Levites the ark.
Khi tất cả trưởng lão Ít-ra-ên đến, những người Lê-vi khiêng Hòm đi.
5 And they brought up the ark and [the] tent of meeting and all [the] articles of holiness which [were] in the tent they brought up them the priests the Levites.
Các thầy tế lễ cùng người Lê-vi khiêng Hòm khỏi Đền Tạm, luôn với các khí cụ thánh.
6 And the king Solomon and all [the] congregation of Israel who were gathered with him before the ark [were] sacrificing sheep and cattle which not they were counted and not they were numbered from multitude.
Vua Sa-lô-môn và toàn dân họp quanh vua trước Hòm Giao Ước dâng vô số chiên và bò làm tế lễ, không ai đếm nổi!
7 And they brought the priests [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh to place its to [the] innermost room of the house to [the] holy place of the holy places to under [the] wings of the cherubim.
Thầy tế lễ đem Hòm Giao Ước của Chúa Hằng Hữu đặt vào giữa Đền Thờ, gọi là Nơi Chí Thánh, dưới cánh các chê-ru-bim.
8 And they were the cherubim spreading out wings over [the] place of the ark and they covered the cherubim over the ark and over poles its from to above.
Hai chê-ru-bim có cánh dang ra che phủ bên trên Hòm và đòn khiêng.
9 And they were long the poles and they were visible [the] heads of the poles from the ark on [the] face of the innermost room and not they were visible the outside towards and it was there until the day this.
Đòn khiêng dài nên đứng tại phòng chính của đền thờ là Nơi Thánh có thể thấy hai đầu mút đòn nhô ra, người đứng bên ngoài không trông thấy được. Hòm còn tại đó cho đến ngày nay.
10 There not [was] in the ark only [the] two the tablets which he put Moses at Horeb where he made Yahweh with [the] people of Israel when came out they from Egypt.
Trong Hòm chỉ có hai bảng đá mà Môi-se đã khắc tại Hô-rếp, là nơi Chúa Hằng Hữu lập giao ước với người Ít-ra-ên khi đem họ ra khỏi Ai Cập.
11 And it was when came out the priests from the holy place for all the priests who were found they had consecrated themselves not to keep to divisions.
Rồi các thầy tế lễ ra khỏi Nơi Chí Thánh. Tất cả thầy tế lễ hiện diện phải dọn mình thánh sạch, dù không phải đến phiên họ hành lễ.
12 And the Levites the singers all of them Asaph Heman Jeduthun and sons their and relatives their [were] fully clothed fine linen with cymbals and with lyres and harps [were] standing east of the altar and [were] with them priests of one hundred and twenty ([who were] blowing a trumpet *Q(k)*) on trumpets.
Các nhạc công người Lê-vi là A-sáp, Hê-man, Giê-đu-thun, cùng tất cả con cái và anh em của họ đều mặc lễ phục bằng vải gai mịn, đứng tại phía đông bàn thờ chơi chập chõa, đàn lia, và đàn hạc. Họ cùng với 120 thầy tế lễ hòa tấu bằng kèn.
13 And it belonged as one (to the trumpeters *Q(k)*) and to the singers to make heard a voice one to praise and to give thanks to Yahweh and just as lifted up a voice with trumpets and with [the] cymbals and with [the] instruments of song and when praised Yahweh for [he is] good for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his and the house it was full a cloud [the] house of Yahweh.
Những người thổi kèn và người ca hát cùng nhau hợp xướng tụng ngợi và cảm tạ Chúa Hằng Hữu. Hòa với tiếng kèn, tiếng chập chõa, cùng các nhạc cụ khác, họ cất cao giọng ngợi tôn Chúa Hằng Hữu rằng: “Chúa thật toàn thiện! Đức nhân từ Ngài thể hiện đời đời!” Ngay lúc ấy, một đám mây phủ đầy Đền Thờ của Chúa Hằng Hữu.
14 And not they were able the priests to stand to serve because of the cloud for it filled [the] glory of Yahweh [the] house of God.
Các thầy tế lễ không thể tiếp tục phục vụ trong Đền Thờ được, vì vinh quang của Chúa Hằng Hữu đầy dẫy trên Đền Thờ của Đức Chúa Trời.
