2 Kings 20
1 In the days those he became sick Hezekiah to die and he came to him Isaiah [the] son of Amoz the prophet and he said to him thus he says Yahweh command to household your that [are] about to die you and not you will live.
Trong thời gian Ê-xê-chia bị bệnh nặng gần chết thì Tiên tri Y-sai, con A-mốt đến thăm vua. Ông truyền cho vua sứ điệp này: “Đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu phán: ‘Vua nên xếp đặt mọi việc trong gia đình vì vua sắp qua đời. Vua không sống được nữa.’”
2 And he turned around face his to the wall and he prayed to Yahweh saying.
Khi Ê-xê-chia nghe điều này, ông quay mặt vào tường và khẩn thiết cầu xin Chúa Hằng Hữu:
3 I beg you O Yahweh remember please this: I have walked about before you in faithfulness and with a heart complete and the good in view your I have done and he wept Hezekiah weeping great.
“Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, xin Chúa nhớ cho, con đã hết lòng trung thành với Chúa, làm điều ngay trước mặt Ngài.” Rồi, vua khóc nức nở.
4 And it was Isaiah not he had gone out ([the] court *Q(K)*) middle and [the] word of Yahweh it came to him saying.
Trước khi Y-sai ra khỏi hoàng cung, Chúa Hằng Hữu phán bảo ông:
5 Go back and you will say to Hezekiah [the] ruler of people my thus he says Yahweh [the] God of David ancestor your I have heard prayer your I have seen tear[s] your here I [am] about to heal you on the day third you will go up [the] house of Yahweh.
“Quay lại, nói với Ê-xê-chia, vua của dân Ta, như sau: ‘Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của Đa-vít, ông tổ của con, đã nghe lời con cầu nguyện và đã thấy nước mắt con. Ta sẽ chữa con khỏi bệnh. Ba ngày nữa, con sẽ lên Đền Thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu.
6 And I will add to days your fif-teen year[s] and from [the] hand of [the] king of Assyria I will deliver you and the city this and I will defend the city this for own sake my and for [the] sake of David servant my.
Ta sẽ cho con sống thêm mười lăm năm nữa. Ta sẽ cứu con và thành này khỏi tay vua A-sy-ri. Vì Danh Ta và vì Đa-vít, đầy tớ Ta, Ta sẽ bảo vệ thành này.’”
7 And he said Isaiah take a cake of figs and people took [it] and they put [it] on the boil and he lived.
Y-sai bảo người ta lấy một cái bánh trái vả đem đắp lên mụt nhọt của Ê-xê-chia, thì vua lành bệnh.
8 And he said Hezekiah to Isaiah what? [will be] a sign that he will heal Yahweh me and I will go up on the day third [the] house of Yahweh.
Ê-xê-chia hỏi Y-sai: “Có điều gì chứng tỏ Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ chữa lành cho tôi, và ba ngày nữa tôi được lên Đền Thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu?”
9 And he said Isaiah this for you [will be] the sign from with Yahweh that he will do Yahweh the thing which he has spoken it has gone the shadow ten steps or? will it go back ten steps.
Y-sai đáp: “Có. Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ làm điều này để chứng tỏ Ngài sắp thực hiện lời hứa. Vua muốn bóng trên bàn trắc ảnh mặt trời tới mười bậc hay lui lại mười bậc?”
10 And he said Hezekiah it is trifling to the shadow to stretch out ten steps In-deed let it go back the shadow backwards ten steps.
Ê-xê-chia đáp: “Bóng mặt trời tới thì có gì là lạ. Xin cho nó lui mười bậc.”
11 And he called out Isaiah the prophet to Yahweh and he turned back the shadow on the steps which it had gone down on [the] steps of Ahaz backwards ten steps.
Tiên tri Y-sai kêu xin Chúa Hằng Hữu, và Ngài cho bóng mặt trời lùi lại mười bậc trên bàn trắc ảnh của A-cha.
12 At the time that he sent Merodach-Baladan [the] son of Baladan [the] king of Babylon letters and a gift to Hezekiah for he had heard that he had been sick Hezekiah.
Nghe tin vua Giu-đa khỏi bệnh, Mê-rô-đác Ba-la-đan, con trai Ba-la-đan, vua Ba-by-lôn, sai sứ giả mang thư và lễ vật đến chúc mừng Ê-xê-chia.
13 And he listened to them Hezekiah and he showed them all [the] house of (treasure his *Q(K)*) the silver and the gold and the spices and - [the] oil of the good and [the] house of weapons his and all that it was found in storehouses his not it was anything which not he showed them Hezekiah in house his and in all realm his.
Ê-xê-chia nồng nhiệt đón tiếp, và đưa họ đi xem các kho tàng chứa vàng, bạc, hương liệu, dầu quý, khí giới và mọi thứ khác, không chừa một thứ nào cả.
14 And he came Isaiah the prophet to the king Hezekiah and he said to him what? did they say - the men these and from where? are they coming to you and he said Hezekiah from a land distant they came from Babylon.
Tiên tri Y-sai đến, hỏi Ê-xê-chia: “Những người này từ đâu đến? Họ nói gì với vua?” Ê-xê-chia trả lời: “Họ đến từ một nước xa xăm là Ba-by-lôn.”
15 And he said what? did they see in house your and he said Hezekiah all that [is] in house my they saw not it was anything which not I showed them in storehouses my.
Y-sai hỏi tiếp: “Vua cho họ xem những gì trong cung?” Ê-xê-chia đáp: “Tất cả. Chẳng có thứ gì trong kho mà ta không cho họ xem.”
16 And he said Isaiah to Hezekiah hear [the] word of Yahweh.
Đến đây Y-sai nói: “Xin vua lắng nghe lời Chúa Hằng Hữu:
17 Here! days [are] coming and it will be carried off - all that [is] in house your and [that] which they have stored up ancestors your until the day this Babylon towards not it will be left behind anything he says Yahweh.
‘Sẽ đến lúc mọi vật trong cung vua phải bị chở sang Ba-by-lôn, kể cả những vật tích lũy từ đời các tiên vương đến nay, không sót một món.
18 And some of descendants your who they will come forth from you whom you will father (people will take away *Q(K)*) and they will be eunuchs in [the] palace of [the] king of Babylon.
Một số hoàng tử sẽ bị bắt đi làm thái giám cho vua Ba-by-lôn.’”
19 And he said Hezekiah to Isaiah [is] good [the] word of Yahweh which you have spoken and he said ¿ not if peace and stability it will be in days my.
Ê-xê-chia nói: “Lời của Chúa Hằng Hữu do tiên tri thuật là lời lành.” Vì vua tự nghĩ: “Ít ra trong đời ta cũng được hòa bình an ổn.”
20 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Hezekiah and all might his and which he made the pool and the conduit and he brought the waters the city towards ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Các việc khác của Ê-xê-chia, thế lực của vua, việc xây hồ chứa nước, lập hệ thống dẫn nước vào kinh thành, đều được chép trong Sách Lịch Sử Các Vua Giu-đa.
21 And he lay down Hezekiah with ancestors his and he became king Manasseh son his in place of him.
Ê-xê-chia an giấc với tổ tiên, Ma-na-se, và con trai vua lên kế vị.
