Zechariah 9
1 The oracle of the word of Yahweh on the land of Hadrach, and, Damascus, shall be the resting-place thereof, —For, Yahweh, hath an eye—to mankind, and to all the tribes of Israel;
“हद्राकको देशको विषयमा परमप्रभुको यस्तो वचन घोषणा भयो, र उहाँको वचन दमस्कसको विषयमा पनि आयो, किनभने सबै मनुष्यजाति र इस्राएलका सबै कुलहरूका आँखा परमप्रभुतिर छन् ।
2 Moreover also, Hamath, adjoineth thereto, Tyre and Zidon, —because very wise;
दमस्कसको सिमानामा भएको हमात, र टुरोस र सीदोनको निम्ति पनि यो घोषणा हो, किनकि तिनीहरू धेरै बुद्धिमान छन् ।
3 Therefore did Tyre build a stronghold for herself, —and did heap up silver like dust, yea gold, like the mire of the lanes.
टुरोसले आफैँ एउटा गढी बनाएको छ, र त्यसले सडकहरूमा धुलोसरह चाँदी र माटोसरह निखुर सुन थुपारेको छ ।
4 Lo! My Lord, shall dispossess her, and smite, into the sea, her fortress, —and, she herself, in fire, shall be consumed.
हेर! परमप्रभुले त्यसबाट सबै खोस्नुहुनेछ र त्यसको बललाई समुद्रमा नष्ट गर्नुहुनेछ, अनि त्यो आगोले भस्म हुनेछ ।
5 Ashkelon, shall see, and fear, Gaza, also, which shall writhe in great anguish, Ekron, also, because abashed is her expectation, —and the king, shall perish, from Gaza, and, Ashkelon, not be inhabited;
अश्कलोनले त्यो देख्नेछ र डराउनेछ! गाजा पनि थर-थर काँप्नेछ! एक्रोनको आशा निराशामा परिणत हुनेछ । गाजाबाट राजा नष्ट हुनेछ, र अश्कलोनमा कोही वास गर्नेछैन!
6 And there shall be seated a half-breed in Ashdod, —So will I cut off the arrogance of the Philistines;
अश्दोदमा परदेशीहरूले घर बसाल्नेछन्, र म पलिश्तीहरूको घमण्ड तोडिदिनेछु ।
7 And will take away his reeking prey out of his mouth, and his abominations, from between his teeth, but, he that is left, even he, shall belong to our God, —So shall he become as a chief in Judah, and, Ekron, as a Jebusite!
किनकि म तिनीहरूका मुखबाट रगत र तिनीहरूका दाँतबाट घिनलाग्दा कुराहरू हटाइदिनेछु । तिनीहरू हाम्रा परमेश्वरको निम्ति बाँकी रहेकाहरू, यहूदाको एउटा कुलझैँ हुनेछन्, र एक्रोन यबूसीजस्तै हुनेछ ।
8 Then will I encamp about my house—against an army, against him that passeth by, and against him that returneth, neither shall an exactor, tread them down any more, —for, now, have I seen with mine own eyes.
शत्रुका सेनाहरूको विरुद्ध म मेरो भूमिवरिपरि छाउनी लगाउनेछु, ताकि त्यहाँबाट न त कोही छिरोस् वा निस्कोस्, किनकि कोही अत्याचारीले पनि तिनीहरूलाई कुल्चनेछैन, किनभने म मेरै आँखाले नजर लगाउनेछु!
9 Exult greatly, O daughter of Zion, Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem, Lo! thy king, cometh unto thee, vindicated and victorious, is he, —lowly, and riding upon an ass, yea, upon a colt, a young ass.
ए सियोनकी छोरी अति धेरै आनन्दले कराऊ! यरूशलेमकी छोरी खुशीले कराऊ! हेर! तिम्रा राजा धार्मिकतामा तिमीकहाँ तिमीलाई बचाउन आउँदै हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँ नम्र हुनुहुन्छ र उहाँ गधामाथि, अर्थात् गधाको बछेडामाथि सवार हुनुहुन्छ ।
10 So will he cut off the chariot out of Ephraim, and the horse out of Jerusalem, and the war-bow, shall be cut off, So shall he speak peace to the nations, and, his dominion, shall be from sea to sea, and from the river [Euphrates] to the ends of the earth.
अनि म एफ्राइमबाट रथ र यरूशलेमबाट घोडा हटाइदिनेछु, र युद्धबाट धनु हटाइनेछन्, किनभने उहाँले जाति-जातिमा शान्ति घोषणा गर्नुहुनेछ, र एउटा समुद्रदेखि अर्कोसम्म, र नदीदेखि पृथ्वीको छेउ-छेउसम्म उहाँको प्रभुत्व रहनेछ!
11 As for thee also, —By the blood of thy covenant, have I sent forth thy prisoners out of a pit, wherein is no water.
तँसँग मेरो करारको रगतको कारण, ती सुक्खा खाडलबाट म तेरा कैदीहरूलाई मुक्त गरिदिनेछु ।
12 Return to the stronghold, ye prisoners of hope, —Even to-day, do I declare—Double, will I return to thee!
आशा भएका कैदीहरू, गढीमा फर्क! आज म यो घोषणा गर्दै छु, कि म तिमीहरूलाई दोब्बर फिर्ता गरिदिनेछु,
13 For I have bent for me—Judah, As a bow, have I grasped Ephraim, Thus will I rouse up thy sons, O Zion, against the sons of Greece, and will make thee as the sword of a mighty one.
किनभने मैले यहूदालाई मेरो धनुझैँ बङ्गाएको छु । मैले मेरो तूणलाई एफ्राइमले भरेको छु । ए सियोन, मैले तेरा छोराहरूलाई ग्रीसका छोराहरूको विरूद्ध उक्साएको छु, र सियोन, मैले तँलाई योद्धाको तरवारझैँ बनाएको छु!”
14 But, Yahweh, over them, will appear, and forth shall go, as lightning, his arrow, —Yea, My Lord Yahweh, with a horn, will blow, and will move along in the whirlwinds of the south.
परमप्रभु तिनीहरूकहाँ देखापर्नुहुनेछ, उहाँको काँड बिजुलीझैँ निस्कनेछ! किनकि मेरा परमप्रभु परमेश्वरले तुरही फुक्नुहुनेछ र उहाँ तेमानबाट आँधीको साथ अगि बढ्नुहुनेछ ।
15 Yahweh of hosts, will throw a covering over them, so shall they eat, and trample underfoot sling-stones, and shall drink—shall shout as with wine, —and shall be filled like tossing-bowls, —like the corners of an altar.
सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुले तिनीहरूको सुरक्षा गर्नुहुनेछ, र तिनीहरूले उनीहरूलाई नाश गर्नेछन् र घुयेँत्रोका ढुङ्गाहरूलाई पराजय गर्नेछन् । तिनीहरूले पिउनेछन् र मद्यले मातेका मानिसहरुझैँ ठुलो सोरमा कराउनेछन्, र तिनीहरू बटुकाझैँ, र वेदीका छेउहरूझैँ मद्येले भरिनेछन् ।
16 So will Yahweh their God, save them, on that day. yea, as a flock of sheep, his people, —for [they shall be like] the jewels of a diadem sparkling over his land.
यसैकारण परमप्रभु तिनीहरूका परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूलाई त्यस दिन आफ्ना मानिसहरूको बागललाईझैँ बचाउनुहुनेछ । तिनीहरू उहाँको देशमा चम्कने मुकुटका रत्नहरू हुन् ।
17 For how excellent it is! Yea how beautiful! Corn, shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the maidens.
तिनीहरू कत्ति असल र कति सुन्दर हुनेछन्! जवान मानिसहरू अन्नले र कन्याहरू नयाँ मद्यले हृष्टपुष्ट हुनेछन् ।
