Zechariah 8
1 And the word of Yahweh of hosts came, saying:
परमप्रभुको यस्तो वचन मकहाँ आयो,
2 Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, I am jealous for Zion with a great jealousy, —Yea, with great wrath, am I jealous for her.
“सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु यस्तो भन्नुहुन्छ: म सियोनको निम्ति साह्रै डाही भएको छु र म त्यसको निम्ति डाही भएर अत्यन्तै रिसाएको छु!
3 Thus, saith Yahweh, I have returned unto Zion, and will make my habitation in the midst of Jerusalem, —and Jerusalem, shall be called, The city of fidelity, and the mountain of Yahweh of hosts, The mountain of holiness.
सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु यस्तो भन्नुहुन्छ: म सियोनमा फर्कनेछु र यरूशलेममा वास गर्नेछु, किनकि यरूशलेम सत्यको सहर भनिनेछ र सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुको पर्वतचाहिँ पवित्र पर्वत भनिनेछ!
4 Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, Yet shall old men and old women sit in the broadways of Jerusalem, —Yea, each one with his staff in his hand for multitude of days:
सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु यस्तो भन्नुहुन्छ: यरूशलेमका सडकहरूमा फेरि वृद्ध पुरुष र स्त्रीहरू हुनेछन्, र हरेक मानिस धेरै वृद्ध भएको हुँदा उसलाई आफ्नो हातमा एउटा लौरो आवश्यक पर्नेछ ।
5 And, the broadways of the city, shall be full of boys and girls, —playing in the broadways thereof.
त्यस सहरका सडकहरू खेल्ने केटा-केटीहरूले भरिनेछन् ।
6 Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, Because it will be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people, in those days, In mine own eyes also, shall it be marvellous? Demandeth Yahweh of hosts.
सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु यस्तो भन्नुहुन्छ: ती दिनहरूमा बाँकी रहेका यी मानिसहरूका आँखामा केही कुरा असम्भव देखिएमा, के ती मेरो नजरमा पनि असम्भव हुन्छन् र? - परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।
7 Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, Behold me! saving my people out of the land of the dawn, —and out of the land of the going in of the sun;
सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु यस्तो भन्नुहुन्छ: हेर, सुर्योदय हुने र सुर्यास्त हुने भूमिबाट मैले मेरा मानिसहरूलाई बचाउन लागेको छु!
8 And I will bring them in, and they shall have their habitation in the midst of Jerusalem, —and shall become my people, and, I, will become their God, In faithfulness and in righteousness.
किनभने म तिनीहरूलाई फर्काएर ल्याउनेछु, र तिनीहरू यरूशलेममा वास गर्नेछन्, अनि तिनीहरू फेरि मेरा मानिसहरू हुनेछन्, र सत्यता र धार्मिकतामा म तिनीहरूका परमेश्वर हुनेछु ।
9 Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, Let your hands be strong, ye who are hearing, in these days, these words, —from the mouth of the prophets who, on the day the house of Yahweh of hosts, was founded, [foretold] that, the temple, should be built: —
सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु यस्तो भन्नुहुन्छ: मेरो यस घरको जग बसालिँदा अगमवक्ताहरूको ओठबाट निस्केका वचनहरू जसले अहिले सुन्दछन्, सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ: आफ्ना हातहरू बलिया बनाओ, ताकि त्यो मन्दिर निर्माण गर्न सकियोस् ।
10 That, before those days, hire for man, could not be obtained, and, hire for beast, was there none, —and, neither to him who went out nor to him who came in, was there success by reason of the danger, Yea I let all men loose, each one against his neighbour.
किनकि ती दिनहरूभन्दा पहिले कोहीले पनि फसल बटुल्दैन थिए, मानिस वा पशुको निम्ति त्यहाँ कुनै मुनाफा थिएन, र आउने र जाने कसैलाई पनि शत्रुहरूबाट शान्ति थिएन । मैले हरेक मानिसलाई त्यसको छिमेकीको विरुद्ध खडा गरेको थिएँ ।
11 But, now, not as in the former days, am I to this remnant of the people, —Declareth Yahweh of hosts;
तर म अब पहिलेका दिनमाझैँ हुन्न, म यी बाँकी रहेका मानिसहरूसँग हुनेछु - सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।
12 For, the seed, shall be secure—the vine, shall yield her fruit, and the land, yield her increase, and the heavens, yield their dew, —and I will cause this remnant of the people to inherit all these things.
किनभने शान्तिको बीउ छरिनेछ; माथि बढ्दै गरेको दाखले आफ्नो फल दिनेछ र पृथ्वीले आफ्नो उब्जनी: आकाशले शीत दिनेछ, किनभने यी बाँकी रहेका मानिसहरूलाई म यी सबै कुराहरू उत्तराधिकारमा दिनेछु ।
13 And it shall come to pass that—Just as ye had become a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, So, will I save you, and ye shall become a blessing, —Do not fear, let your hands, be strong.
ए यहूदा र इस्राएलको घराना, अन्य श्रापित जातिहरूमा तिमीहरू एउटा उदाहरण थियौ । यसैकारण म तिमीहरूलाई बचाउनेछु र तिमीहरू आशिषको कारण हुनेछौ । नडराओ; तिमीहरूका हात बलियो बनाओ!
14 For, thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, Just as I planned to bring calamity upon you, when your fathers provoked me, saith Yahweh of hosts, —and I relented not,
किनभने सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु यस्तो भन्नुहुन्छ: तिमीहरूका पिता-पुर्खाहरूले मलाई रिस उठाउँदा मैले तिनीहरूलाई हानी पुर्याउने योजना गरेर तिनीहरूप्रति दया देखाइनँ - परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ,
15 So, have I again planned, in these days, to do good unto Jerusalem, and unto the house of Judah, —Do not fear!
यी दिनहरूमा पनि म यरूशलेम र यहूदाको घरानालाई भलाइ गर्ने योजना गर्नेछु! नडराओ!
16 These, are the things which ye shall do: Speak ye the truth, every man with his neighbour, truth and the sentence of peace, pronounce ye in your gates;
तिमीहरूले यी कामहरू गर्नुपर्छ: हरेक मानिसले आफ्नो छिमेकीसँग सत्य बोलोस् । आफ्नो इलाकामा सत्य, न्याय, र शान्तिसँग इन्साफ गर ।
17 And let, no man, devise, the injury of his neighbour, in your heart, and the oath of falsehood, do not love, —for, all these, are things which I hate, declareth Yahweh.
आफ्नो हृदयमा एक अर्काको विरुद्धमा खराबी गर्ने योजना नबनाओ, र झुटा शपथलाई प्रेम नगर - किनभने यी कुराहरूलाई म घृणा गर्दछु! – परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।”
18 And the word of Yahweh of hosts came unto me, saying:
अनि सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुको यस्तो वचन मकहाँ आयो,
19 Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts—The fast of the fourth, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the eleventh, shall become to the house of Judah a gladness and a rejoicing, and pleasant appointed meetings, —But, truth and peace, see that ye love.
“सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु यस्तो भन्नुहुन्छ: चौथो, साथौँ, र दशौँ महिनाका उपवासहरू यहूदाका घरानाको निम्ति आनन्द, हर्ष, र खुशीका पर्वहरूका समय हुनेछन्! यसैले सत्य र शान्तिलाई प्रेम गर!
20 Thus, saith Yahweh of hoses, —It shall yet be that there shall come in peoples, and the inhabitants of many cities;
सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु यस्तो भन्नुहुन्छ: विभिन्न सहरहरूमा बस्ने सबै मानिसहरू फेरि आउनेछन् ।
21 And the inhabitants of one city, shall go, unto them of another, saying, Let us be going on to pacify the face of Yahweh, and to seek Yahweh of hosts, —I also, will go!
एउटा सहरका वासिन्दाहरू अर्को सहरमा जानेछन् र भन्नेछन्, ‘हामी तुरुन्तै परमप्रभुको सामु बिन्ती गर्न र सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुको खोजी गर्न जाऔँ! हामीहरू आफैँ पनि जाँदै छौँ ।’
22 So shall enter many peoples, and strong nations, to seek Yahweh of hosts in Jerusalem, —and to pacify the face of Yahweh.
धेरै मानिसहरू र धेरै जातिहरू यरूशलेममा सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुको खोजी गर्न र उहाँको निगाह प्राप्त गर्न आउनेछन्!
23 Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, In those days, [it shall be] that ten men out of all the tongues of the nations, shall take hold, —yea take hold of the skirt of every one that is a Jew, saying—We will go with you! For we have heard [that], God, is with you.
सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु यस्तो भन्नुहुन्छ: ती दिनहरूमा हरेक भाषा र जातिबाट दश जना मानिसहरूले तिम्रो लबेदाको छेउ समातेर यसो भन्नेछन्, ‘हामीलाई तपाईंसँग जान दिनुहोस्, किनभने परमेश्वर तपाईंसँग हुनुहुन्छ भन्ने हामीले सुनेका छौँ!’”
