Psalms 135
1 Praise ye Yah, Praise ye the Name of Yahweh, Praise, O ye servants of Yahweh;
Louvae ao Senhor. Louvae o nome do Senhor; louvae-o, servos do Senhor.
2 Who stand In the house of Yahweh, In the courts of the house of our God.
Vós que assistis na casa do Senhor, nos atrios da casa do nosso Deus.
3 Praise ye Yah, For good is Yahweh, Sing praises to his Name, For it is full of delight;
Louvae ao Senhor, porque o Senhor é bom: cantae louvores ao seu nome, porque é agradavel.
4 For, Jacob, hath Yah chosen for himself, Israel, for his own treasure.
Porque o Senhor escolheu para si a Jacob, e a Israel para seu proprio thesouro.
5 For, I, know that great is Yahweh, yea, our Lord, is beyond all gods.
Porque eu conheço que o Senhor é grande e que o nosso Deus está acima de todos os deuses.
6 Whatsoever Yahweh hath pleased, he hath done, —in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas, and all resounding deeps:
Tudo o que o Senhor quiz fez, nos céus e na terra, nos mares e em todos os abysmos.
7 Causing vapours to ascend from the end of the earth, —Lightnings for the rain, hath he made, bringing forth wind out of his treasuries.
Faz subir os vapores das extremidades da terra; faz os relampagos para a chuva; produz os ventos dos seus thesouros.
8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man, and of beast;
O que feriu os primogenitos do Egypto, desde os homens até ás bestas.
9 Sent signs and wonders into thy midst, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
O que enviou signaes e prodigios no meio de ti, ó Egypto, contra Pharaó e contra os seus servos.
10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings:
O que feriu muitas nações, e matou poderosos reis;
11 Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;
A Sehon, rei dos amorrheos, e a Og, rei de Basan, e a todos os reinos de Canaan.
12 And gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.
E deu a sua terra em herança, em herança a Israel, seu povo.
13 O Yahweh! thy Name, is age-abiding, —O Yahweh! thy memorial, is to generation after generation.
O teu nome, ó Senhor, dura perpetuamente; e a tua memoria, ó Senhor, de geração em geração.
14 For Yahweh will vindicate his people, —and, on his servants, have compassion.
Pois o Senhor julgará o seu povo, e se arrependerá com respeito aos seus servos.
15 The idols of the nations, are silver and gold, the work of the hands of men:
Os idolos das nações são prata e oiro, obra das mãos dos homens.
16 A mouth, have they, but they speak not, Eyes, have they, but they see not;
Teem bocca, mas não fallam; teem olhos, e não vêem.
17 Ears, have they, but they hear not, Nose, —there is no breath in their mouth.
Teem ouvidos, mas não ouvem, nem ha respiro algum nas suas boccas.
18 Like unto them, shall be they who make them, every one who trusteth in them.
Similhantes a elles se tornem os que os fazem, e todos os que confiam n'elles.
19 O house of Israel! bless Yahweh, O house of Aaron! bless Yahweh;
Casa d'Israel, bemdizei ao Senhor; casa d'Aarão bemdizei ao Senhor.
20 O house of Levi! bless Yahweh, Ye that revere Yahweh! bless Yahweh.
Casa de Levi, bemdizei ao Senhor: vós, os que temeis ao Senhor, louvae ao Senhor.
21 Blessed be Yahweh out of Zion, Who inhabiteth Jerusalem, Praise ye Yah!
Bemdito seja o Senhor desde Sião, que habita em Jerusalem. Louvae ao Senhor.
