Job 12
1 Then responded Job, and said: —
Dia namaly Joba ka nanao hoe:
2 Of a truth, ye, are the people, and, with you, wisdom, will die.
Marina ary fa ianareo ihany tokoa olombelona! Ary hiara-maty aminareo ny fahendrena!
3 I also, have a mind like you, I, fall not short, of you, But who hath not such things as these?
Kanefa izaho mba manan-tsaina tahaka anareo ihany koa; Tsy latsaka noho ianareo aho; Fa iza moa no tsy nahalala izay zavatra toy izany?
4 A laughing-stock to one’s neighbour, do I become, one who hath called upon GOD and he hath answered him! A laughing-stock—a righteous man without blame!
Tonga fihomehezan’ ny sakaizako aho. Dia izaho izay niantso an’ Andriamanitra ka novaliany; Eny, tonga fihomehezana ny olona marina tsy manan-tsiny.
5 For ruin, there is contempt, in the thought of the man at ease, —ready, for such as are of faltering foot!
Endrehin-datsa ny ozoim-pahoriana, raha araka ny hevitry ny miadana, eny, vonona ho amin’ izay ela mangozohozo ny latsa.
6 At peace are the tents that belong to the spoilers, and there is security to them who provoke GOD, To him who bringeth a god in his hand.
Mandry fahizay ny lain’ ny mpitohatoha, Ary mitoetra tsy manahy izay sahy mampahatezitra an’ Andriamanitra, dia izay mitondra ny herin’ ny tànany ho andriamaniny
7 But, in very deed, ask, I pray thee, the beasts, and they will teach thee, and the bird of the heavens, and it will tell thee;
Kanefa anontanio ange ny biby, fa hampianatra anao izy, ary ny voro-manidina, fa hanambara aminao izy;
8 Or address the earth, and it will teach thee, and the fishes of the sea, will recount it to thee:
Ary makà saina amin’ ny tany, dia hampianatra anao izy. Ary ny hazandrano any an-dranomasina hampahalala anao.
9 Who knoweth not, among all these, that, the hand of Yahweh, hath done this?
Iza no tsy mahalala, raha mandinika ireny rehetra ireny, fa ny nanao izany dia ny tanan’ i Jehovah,
10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the spirit of all the flesh of men.
Izay mitana ny ain’ ny zava-manan’ aina rehetra sy ny fofonain’ ny olombelona rehetra?
11 Doth not, the ear, try, words? even as, the palate, tasteth for itself, food?
Moa tsy ny sofina va no mamantatra ny teny? Ary tsy ny vava va no manandrana ny hanina?
12 In the Ancient, is wisdom, and [in] Length of Days, understanding:
Ao amin’ ny fotsy volo ny fahendrena, ary ny fahela-velona no ahazoam-pahalalana.
13 With Him, are wisdom and strength, to Him, pertain counsel and understanding.
Ao amin’ Andriamanitra kosa no misy fahendrena sy hery; Izy no manana hevitra sy fahalalana.
14 Lo! He pulleth down, and it cannot be built, He closeth up over a man, and it cannot be opened:
Indro, mandrava Izy, ka tsy hatsangana intsony; Manidy ny olona Izy, ka tsy hovohana.
15 Lo! He holdeth back the waters, and they dry up, or sendeth them out, and they transform the earth:
Indro, manampina ny rano Izy, ka dia ritra iny; Ary alefany indray ka mahasimba ny tany.
16 With Him, is strength and effective wisdom, to Him, belong he that erreth, and he that causeth to err.
Izy no manana hery sy tena fahendrena; Samy eo an-tanany avokoa ny voafitaka sy ny mpamitaka.
17 Who leadeth away counsellors [as] a spoil, and, judges, He befooleth:
Alany voninahitra ny mpanolo-tsaina, dia entiny. Ary asehony ny fahadalan’ ny mpitsara.
18 The fetters of kings, He looseth, or hath bound a slave’s waistcloth about their loins:
Vahany ny fifehezan’ ny mpanjaka, ka feheziny mahazaka ny valahany.
19 Who leadeth away priests [as] a spoil, and, men firmly seated, He overturneth:
Alàny voninahitra ny mpisorona, dia entiny, ary ny mafy orina ela dia ravany.
20 Setting aside the speech of the trusty, and, the discernment of elders, He taketh away:
Koroiny ny laha-tenin’ ny mahay, ary ny fahazavan-tsain’ ny anti-panahy dia esoriny.
21 Pouring contempt upon nobles, and, the girdle of the mighty, hath He loosed:
Mandatsaka fanamavoana amin’ ny andriandahy Izy, ary ketrahiny ny fehin-kibon’ ny matanjaka.
22 Laying open deep things, out of darkness, and bringing out to light, the death-shade:
Manala rakotra izay lalina Izy mba tsy ho maizina ary mitondra ny aloky ny fahafatesana ho eo amin’ ny mazava.
23 Who giveth greatness to nations, or destroyeth them, Who spreadeth out nations, or leadeth them into exile:
Mahalehibe ny firenena Izy, nefa mandringana azy koa, mampihahaka ny firenena Izy, nefa mitondra azy hody indray.
24 Who taketh away the sense of the chiefs of the people of the earth, and hath caused them to wander in a pathless waste:
Mahavery saina ny loholona amin’ ny tany Izy ary mampirenireny azy any an-efitra tsy misy lalana;
25 They grope about in the dark, having no light, and He hath made them to reel, like a drunken man.
Mitsapatsapa amin’ ny maizina tsy misy mavaza ireo; ary mampivembena azy tahaka ny olona mamo Izy.
