< Job 12 >
1 Then responded Job, and said: —
Chujou chun Job in aseikit in,
2 Of a truth, ye, are the people, and, with you, wisdom, will die.
Nangho mihem te hin thil ijakai nahet soh keiju hilou ham? Chule nathi teng uleh chihna jong nangma toh thitha ding ahi.
3 I also, have a mind like you, I, fall not short, of you, But who hath not such things as these?
Aphai, kei matah in thil themkhat hetna kaneije, chule kei sangin nang naphajo deh poi; hitobang thilho hethei lou nangin thu nasei sei jeng ding ham?
4 A laughing-stock to one’s neighbour, do I become, one who hath called upon GOD and he hath answered him! A laughing-stock—a righteous man without blame!
Kagol kapai ten einuisat un, eidonbut ding kinema Pathen kakou jeh chun, keima hi midih nolnabei kahin; ahijeng vang'in einuisat uve.
5 For ruin, there is contempt, in the thought of the man at ease, —ready, for such as are of faltering foot!
Anop nopma um mihon, hahsat natoh ho chu ija selou tah in anuisat jiuvin, amaho chun akipal ho chu ason opden jiuve.
6 At peace are the tents that belong to the spoilers, and there is security to them who provoke GOD, To him who bringeth a god in his hand.
Ahinlah michom ho chu mong tah in aki dalhan, chule Pathen sulung hang ho bitsel in achengui.
7 But, in very deed, ask, I pray thee, the beasts, and they will teach thee, and the bird of the heavens, and it will tell thee;
Ganhing ho chudong jong le chun amahon nahil dingu ahi; van lai jolla vachate chu dong le chun amahon naseipeh unte.
8 Or address the earth, and it will teach thee, and the fishes of the sea, will recount it to thee:
Leiset chu kihoupi le chun abol ding dan nahil ding ahi, twikhanglen'a nga hon nakoma thu seijuhen.
9 Who knoweth not, among all these, that, the hand of Yahweh, hath done this?
Kamanthah nachu Pakai khutna hung kon ahi ti ahet sohkeiju ahi.
10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the spirit of all the flesh of men.
Ajeh chu thil ahing thei jouse hinkho leh mihem jouse haina hi ama khut a um ahibouve.
11 Doth not, the ear, try, words? even as, the palate, tasteth for itself, food?
Kam in anneh ho atui a-al ahetkhen banga nakol in jong ajah ho hi apatep ji ahi.
12 In the Ancient, is wisdom, and [in] Length of Days, understanding:
Chihna hi upa ho a ahin, chule thil hetkhenna hi tehseho a ahi.
13 With Him, are wisdom and strength, to Him, pertain counsel and understanding.
Ahinlah chihna tahbeh leh thahatna chu Pathen koma bou kimu ahin, thumop themna le thil hetkhen thei nahi ama a ahi.
14 Lo! He pulleth down, and it cannot be built, He closeth up over a man, and it cannot be opened:
Ipi hijongleh aman asuh mangsa chu kisapha kit theilou hel ahi; aman mi khat chu songkul'a akhum teng jamdoh nading umthei lou ahi.
15 Lo! He holdeth back the waters, and they dry up, or sendeth them out, and they transform the earth:
Aman go chu atuhtang teng leiset chu nelgam asohji tai, twi chu ahin lhadoh teng leiset chung ahin chup soh jitai.
16 With Him, is strength and effective wisdom, to Him, belong he that erreth, and he that causeth to err.
Henge, thahatna leh chihna chu ama a ahin, milhem lhaho leh akilhem lhaho chu ania athaneina um lhon ahi.
17 Who leadeth away counsellors [as] a spoil, and, judges, He befooleth:
Thumopma pangho ho apui mangin, athutan phatnao alah mang peh jin, thutan chingtah ho ahung ngol ji tauve.
18 The fetters of kings, He looseth, or hath bound a slave’s waistcloth about their loins:
Aman lengpa sangkhol chol asutlhah peh in, akong buh uva khao akiveijin puimangin aumji tauve.
19 Who leadeth away priests [as] a spoil, and, men firmly seated, He overturneth:
Aman thempu ho apui mangjin, adinmun u alahmang peh in, kum tamtah thahatna pang ho chu aleh khup jin ahi.
20 Setting aside the speech of the trusty, and, the discernment of elders, He taketh away:
Tahsan umtah thumopma pang ho asuthip in, upa ho thil hetkhen theina alahmang peh jitai.
21 Pouring contempt upon nobles, and, the girdle of the mighty, hath He loosed:
Leng chapate chunga minsetna asunlhah khumin, mithahat manchah beijin akoije.
22 Laying open deep things, out of darkness, and bringing out to light, the death-shade:
Muthim lah a kisel thil kidang ho ahohdoh jin khojin mang keina mun ahin salvah jin ahi.
23 Who giveth greatness to nations, or destroyeth them, Who spreadeth out nations, or leadeth them into exile:
Namtin vaipi atungdoh jin chule aman ama ho chu asu mang jin, namtin vaipi ho chu akikehjal sah jin chule don louvin akoi ji'e.
24 Who taketh away the sense of the chiefs of the people of the earth, and hath caused them to wander in a pathless waste:
Leng ho thil hetkhenna alahmang peh jin, lampi umlouna gam phalou lah a vahle din adalha jitai.
25 They grope about in the dark, having no light, and He hath made them to reel, like a drunken man.
Khovah beijin muthim lah a akimai leleuvin, jukhamma londang dang ho bangin aseme.
